 | | Created for techradar.com@quicklydone.com | Web Version | | | | | | | | Welcome to the Week in Review | | | | | If you’re reading this, it means you’re taking a quick break from digging through the thousands of Black Friday deals dropping virtually everywhere, on everything from LED face masks and back massagers to ultra-grade smartwatches and robot vacuums. I appreciate that, because it means that either you needed to take a breather or, perhaps, you want a bit more clarity from yours truly on all that transpired this week in the world of tech. This is also a fantastic time to lower the cost of your streaming habits. I’ve seen a lot of great deals on things like HBO Max and even Apple TV. The big question is, can you cancel your current full-price package and then sign up for a deal? Sometimes the answer is yes. Away from Black Friday there has still been a fair bit of 'regular' tech news. We've been impressed with OpenAI's improved Voice mode integration for ChatGPT, Apple looks to be outselling rival Samsung in the smartphone space for the first time in ages, and we got some new insights into just how uphill a task Microsoft still faces in trying to convince Windows 10 users that they really should make the switch to Windows 11. All this shopping has left me with little time to catch up on the final season of Stranger Things, which kicked off this week (I managed to consume one episode), but I did watch an adorable holiday ad from… wait for it… Apple. Whether you're deal-hunting or taking it easy, enjoy your weekend. Lance Ulanoff, Editor at Large
