In this poll I'm defining "series" as the different genres or gameplay that the Mario franchise has.
The older 2D platformers will have their own category and include Super Mario RPG( but not the later sequels). Please keep in mind this Opinion based and does not necessarily represent which Mario games are truly best.
All spin off games can be considered as well in their respective categories I.E., Wario Ware, Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Run..
