We are honored to invite you to our first-ever TEDx event at Sac State!
TEDxCSUS, an independently organized TEDx event, will be holding its inaugural event, which will feature local and international speakers of diverse backgrounds and walks of life.
The event will be held on Friday, November 17 from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the University Union Ballroom.
TEDxCSUS is a half-day event curated by Katalin Ludvig (TED licensee) and Elisa Michals at California State University, Sacramento. The event will be seen live in-person by 100 people, and globally by the TED community. We will also have a live simulcast of the event hosted in the Hinde Auditorium in the University Union.
Our goal is to bring together bright minds, such as our current students, faculty, staff, alumni and international guest speakers to open a door that will foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and to provoke conversations that matters. Each of our 9 live speakers will deliver a TED-style talk that is focused on a topic related to their expertise and our theme of Boomerang: What goes around comes around. Each speech will be filmed, edited, and hosted on the TEDx YouTube channel.
Please visit www.tedxcsus.com for more information on speakers, leadership, and sponsors.
