In news that should surprise absolutely no one, EA and DICE are prototyping a battle royale mode for the upcoming Battlefield game this year, previously allegedly having been leaked as Battlefield 5. Batllefield Battle Royale is currently being prototyped and tested, a DICE insider revealed to VentureBeat.

Battle royale games, such as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite, involve 100 players landing on a map, and then slowly taking each other...
