Fortnite Has Added Will Smith Based On His Bad Boys Film Character, Mike Lowery
Epic Games has continued Fortnite's inexorable march into modern pop culture with the addition of yet another celebrity heavyweight, this time in the shape of Will Smith.
To be more precise, it's Will Smith as Mike Lowery, which is the character he plays in the Bad Boys movie franchise. He certainly looks the part too, and comes with his trademark sunglasses. While technically it's Lowery, most people will probably just think of the character as Will Smith anyway.
If you're interested in running around as Lowery in Fortnite, then you'll have to pay 1500 V-Bucks for the privilege.
As mentioned, Fortnite has seen a number of major celebrities join the battle royale title, following on the likes of Ariana Grande, J Balvin, and LeBron James.

Fortnite is now available for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, and is one of the biggest gaming phenomenons on the planet right now. How much longer can its popularity last? As long as Epic Games wants, apparently.

New Gotham Knights And Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Details Coming For DC FanDome
DC FanDome 2021 will play host to another look at the highly anticipated Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, which as you might recall were both unveiled during last year's event.

Gotham Knights is currently in development at WB Games Montreal for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, and will launch in 2022. Meanwhile, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is in the works at Rocksteady Studios for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and again is due out in 2022.
Both games were absent from E3 2021 and have been out of the limelight pretty much since their announcement, so it will be interesting to see how they're coming along.
WB Games Montreal and Rocksteady Studios obviously have plenty of history with the superhero genre. The former worked on Batman: Arkham Origins back in 2013, while the latter worked on the hugely successful Batman Arkham Trilogy that comprised Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Developer Isn't Done With Single-Player Games: 'It's Sort Of In Our DNA'
Speaking during an interview with Game Informer, Naughty Dog co-presidents Evan Wells and Neil Druckmann have made it clear that The Last of Us: Part 2 developer is not done with single-player games just yet.
Wells started out by saying that single-player games are 'near and dear to us,' and that Naughty Dog is looking to continue working on them for the foreseeable future.
Absolutely. Yeah, and it's sort of in our DNA to tell these stories. I think that's going to continue. Single-player experiences are near and dear to us. It's what has attracted a lot of people to Naughty Dog, and that's what inspires them, so I think we're going to keep at it as long as we can.

Druckmann added:
And again, going back to who Sony is, there has never been a mandate like, "Oh, this is where we see the winds shifting. Can you start making these kind of games instead?" We know just as they know that when you work on something you're excited by, something you're passionate by, you're going to do great work.
Naughty Dog is currently hiring for its first standalone multiplayer game, which is presumably a spinoff to The Last of Us: Part 2's scrapped online component.

Sony Pictures has finally released the first batch of images on the upcoming Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, offering a glimpse at the likes of Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy and the fearsome Lisa Trevor in the cinematic reboot of Capcom's horror franchise.
There's three screenshots in total, one of which features the characters of Albert Wesker, Chris, Brad Vickers, and Jill Valentine as they enter the Spencer Mansion. Another depicts a creepy shot of Lisa Trevor, while the final image shows off Leon and Chris' sister Claire in what I presume is the basement of the R.P.D.
Check them out below.
IGN has an interview with the film's director, Johannes Roberts, who had the following to say:
They wanted to see the iconic characters and locations and feel that the movie was more in line with the game world so that's really why we chose to go in that direction. We worked hand in hand with Capcom on this movie to the point that we actually got blueprints from them on the designs of the Spencer Mansion and Raccoon police station in order to recreate them as perfectly as we could.

We even have the exact artwork up on the mansion walls. Capcom saw it for the first time the other day and was so happy and excited.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will hit cinemas in the US on November 24 and in the UK on December 3.

2K Sports Unveils Stylish NBA 2K22 Gameplay Trailer
2K Sports has released the first NBA 2K22 gameplay footage ahead of the game's launch on PS5 and PS4 next month.
While the trailer is obviously showcasing in-game footage, it's been cut in a way that it isn't representative of how the game actually looks when you're playing it. Rather, it looks like a collection of edited replays, but it does the job nonetheless.

NBA 2K22 is scheduled for release on September 10, 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game's cover star has been confirmed as Luka Dončić.
