While you'd think Nintendo would have a slew of official shops in Japan, the Kyoto-based game company only has one. Located in Tokyo, the store, cleverly called Nintendo Tokyo, opened in November 2019. But that is going to change because now, in November 2021, Nintendo has announced a second one.

Things aren't going well for eFootball and keep getting worse. Konami's Friday news dump cannot bury how bad things are. Right now, this is a complete fiasco.

But it seems like it's been a complete disaster from the get-go when Konami dropped the PES name in favor of eFootball. The rebranding, though, has been the…

The best Genshin Impact weapons you can get without using Wishes

If you are going to wait for five-star weapon results from your Wishes you might have to wait a long time, or you will have to invest a lot of money in Genshin Impact. There's always the weapon pity system introduced in 2.0, but for many players, it is more feasible to find good weapons by playing. Luckily, Genshin Impact offers enough quality three and four-star weapons that you can find in the open world or craft yourself, so there's no need to invest in Wishes to complete your best Genshin Impact builds.

Some of the freely available four-star weapons are better than others, but since their number is limited, all are worth getting. Although four-star weapons have better base stats than three-star weapons, many three-star ones are worth searching for as they may boast superior damage or critical hit modifiers.

We've included some of the best, but keep in mind that the value of a weapon depends greatly on the situation, the Genshin Impact characters you want to use it for and plenty of other factors like the monsters you're going after and what Genshin Impact artifacts you have.

Call of Duty: Vanguard reviews – our roundup of the critics' takes

The Call of Duty: Vanguard release date has now arrived, and reviews for the latest instalment of the long-running FPS game series have begun rolling in, giving us an idea of what to expect - and whether it'll be worth your hard-earned pennies. So, let's take a look at what the critics have made of the new CoD.

Let's kick off with this orange site right here's Call of Duty: Vanguard review. Our own Ian Boudreau scores it a healthy eight-out-of-ten, noting that developer Sledgehammer Games has "return[ed] to World War II with a very different approach". Ian concludes that, "opting for pulp fantasy over Spielbergian reverence for the era, Vanguard reinvigorates the World War II setting and charts a new path forward".

Gamespot puts it a little lower on the scale, giving it a seven-out-of-ten. The highlights cited in the review include the Vanguard multiplayer mode's destructible environments, great-feeling guns, meaningful loadouts and Gunsmith customisation, and positive changes to Zombies, which "make the mode more approachable", among other things. Negatives mentioned include the feeling that "some campaign missions are much weaker than others, especially when pushing out of the usual pop-and-shoot approach", characters not really feeling distinct enough, and Zombies "missing the story-focused puzzle box elements that make the mode great".

God of War system requirements – Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR support confirmed

Sony's just announced that the PlayStation exclusive God of War is coming to Steam and the Epic Game Store, and it looks like it'll embrace the power of gaming PC hardware. While Kratos' Nordic adventure isn't the first PS4 game to release on PC, it could set a new standard for what to expect from Sony's newly acquired port specialist, Nixxes.

According to Sony's announcement post on the PlayStation Blog, God of War's PC port will feature "true" 4K resolution support and unlocked frame rates, providing your rig can handle churning out both. While we'll need to wait a little longer for the game's official graphics card, RAM, and gaming CPU requirements, we do know that you'll need to free up 80GB of space on your gaming SSD.

The PC version of Sony Santa Monica's epic tale also comes with a whole host of graphical options and pre-sets, including improved screen-space reflections, higher resolution shadows, and ambient occlusion enhancements like GTAO and SSDO. Better still, God of War for PC also comes with Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR, meaning that every GPU will benefit from upscaling technology to facilitate higher resolutions, while still maintaining decent frame rates. The game will also support Nvidia's Reflex low latency tech, which should help Kratos' axe strike true.

Pokémon TCG Live delayed into next year

The Pokémon Company has delayed Pokémon TCG Live into next year. The developer explains on Twitter that the release shift comes down to giving players a "more polished experience" and that more information on a precise release date and testing period will be shared "soon".

"To provide Trainers with a more polished experience, the Pokémon TCG Live mobile soft launch in Canada, and global open beta for desktop, have been shifted to 2022," the Pokémon Company says. "We'll have more to share soon on timing for both this testing period and the full launch of Pokémon TCG Live."

The developer also clarified that code cards with Pokémon TCG Live branding bought with other TCG-related products are still redeemable in Pokémon TCG Online. While the PTCG Online app will be removed from from the App Store, Google Play, and Pokémon website prior the launch of Pokémon TCG Live, the company says that existing PTCG Online players will be able to "easily transfer their account and game data to Pokémon TCG Live upon its release".

Accessibility is a core pillar of Forza Horizon 5, with its new 'Tourist' difficulty

Forza Horizon 5 is set to land on shelves next week, but before its November 9 launch, creative director Mike Brown and technical art director Gareth Harwood have given us a peek at the PC specifics. This includes how the developers approached ray tracing, why SSDs have transformed the game's design, and the importance of accessibility.

Playground Games recently revealed the Forza Horizon 5 system requirements, which are forgiving enough that even racers with ageing gaming PCs should have little trouble getting behind the wheel. However, while lowering the entry requirements to get the game running is admirable, it's another thing entirely to make it more accessible to a wider variety of players.

Brown describes accessibility as "one of the core pillars that makeup Forza Horizon 5, and great efforts and investments were made to ensure the development team understood its importance. We treat it with the same level of importance and care as we do our Expeditions, another integral part of the game."

Fittingly for Fireworks Night, Call Of Duty: Vanguard launched in the wee hours, bringing a great many big explosions as the first-person shooter series returns to World War 2 once again.      New World updateThe New World MMO from Amazon Games has seen some serious ups and downs since its release not too long ago. As is the case for most giant live service games these days, the game is being continuously patched and updated to smooth out the user experience. The latest New World update, numbered 1.0.5, has now launched. Here are some of the more significant changes made to Amazon's ambitious new MMO. If you've played any kind of massive multiplayer game that uses in-game currency, you've likely seen messages spamming public boards about giving away, or selling, huge amounts of in-game dosh. New World is no different in this respect, and this update has made some big changes to limit money transferring. First, player-to-player trading and currency transfer from characters under level 10, or whose account is less than 72 hours old, is now banned. This is to help curb shady resellers from making new accounts by the truckload to increase cash.   Trading Posts will als...

Warzone bug fixesWe are into the final few weeks of Call of Duty: Warzone as we know it. Once Warzone Pacific rolls out, Verdansk will be no more and it will be replaced by the new Caldera map. Despite this, the developer is still trying to make our final matches in Verdansk as smooth as possible. However, there are various Warzone bugs still cropping up that Raven Software is addressing, including one related to buy stations. Following a recent update, more bugs managed to make their way into the game. Some are proving to be game breaking, while others are just a little annoying to deal with.   Counting down the minutes until the buy station bug is fixed Firstly, Raven Software is addressing an issue causing the buy station icons to not appear on the map. This is problematic from the very start of matches. Often, players prefer to land near a buy station so they can loot up and purchase a loadout as soon as possible. Additionally, if you are trying to buy back a fallen team mate, that can be m...
