The 2021 holiday shopping season is at the mercy of global inventory shortages and supply chain constrains. Animal Crossing: New Horizon's Timmy and Tommy Nook are not, and it seems like the proprietors of Nook's Cranny will be doing their own Black Friday sale in-game starting November 26 as part of the new 2.0 update
Yesterday, just a week before it launches, Bethesda finally revealed how much Skyrim Anniversary Edition will cost: $50. But what you're actually getting in the latest version of the decade-old game is a bit confusing, so let's break it down.
Nintendo doubled-down on its commitment to its paid Switch Online subscription service in its latest corporate strategy briefing with investors. Despite complaints over the quality and price of its newly added Expansion Pack tier, the company said it will continue "striving to provide services that satisfy consumers."
Originally planned to come out later this month, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, the Square Enix MMORPG's biggest expansion to-date, will instead arrive a few weeks later on December 7. That's because director Naoki Yoshida and the rest of the development team want to launch the new content without breaking the game.
While sadly PC players won't be getting to play it, the first closed beta for Elden Ring kicks off a week from now. It's the first chance for many fans to try out the eagerly-anticipated next game from the creators of Dark Souls - and From Software has just revealed five of the game's character classes that players will be able to check out in the beta.
The Dark Souls games generally have ten character classes to choose from when starting the game. It's unknown how many Elden Ring will have in total but there certainly seems to be at least five character classes, which will all be present in the beta next week - as From Software has just revealed.
The tweet on the official Elden Ring channel (below) seems to show screenshots of the character creator at the beginning of the game, with five Tarnished character types to choose from - just like how players would pick from one of the ten classes at the beginning of each Dark Souls game.
The first League of Legends animated series Arcane debuts on Netflix later today and developer Riot has announced a host of tie-ins to celebrate - including the big team-up with Epic Games to bring Jinx to Fortnite - but the weirdest is undoubtedly the partnership with Rihanna's cosmetic company Fenty Beauty, which has just been revealed earlier today.
Other than Fortnite, Riot Games has announced a lot of team-ups and tie-ins for Arcane - including bringing League of Legends to the Epic Games Store and a big celebration across all of Riot's own Runeterra games - but the one that may confuse a lot of fans is the announcement of a collaboration with Fenty Beauty, a skincare cosmetics company started by Rihanna last year.
According to a press release from the developer, Fenty "will curate beauty looks" across Riot's products, which includes "content aiming to highlight the multifaceted and diverse beauty landscape that celebrates beauty in all of its forms". This includes animation, apparently.

This includes the new game coming from Uncharted co-creator Amy Hennig's studio Skydance New Media, which was just announced as a Marvel collaboration this week - and may be a Fantastic Four, Daredevil, or Hawkeye game.
Skydance New Media announced the project in a press release on October 29 and only revealed that it was "a narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game" that featured Marvel characters and was not connected with the movies or any other games. The game's subject, or what heroes will be playable, is unknown at this time.
However, just a few days later writer Marc Bernardin - who's worked for both DC and Marvel, as well as on shows like Picard and Masters of the Universe: Revelation - confirmed on Kevin Smith's podcast that he had been working on the game for the last year or so. After a brief discussion, Kevin Smith himself revealed that a response in the chat "nailed it dead" on what the Marvel game would be about.

According to a developer working on Fable 4, the game has been in the works for at least four years - meaning it started development shortly after Lionhead's closure.
After the cancellation of the ambitious Fable Legends back in 2016, Microsoft decided to close Black & White and Fable creators Lionhead Studios at the same time. Rumours of a possible Fable 4 with new developer Playground Games started surfacing around 2018 before finally being confirmed as actually happening in July 2020.
Since the Fable reboot hasn't had anything released barring a CGI teaser trailer and barely any news in over a year, it's easy to assume that it's still quite fresh in development. However, according to the lead engineer at Playground Games, Fable 4 has actually been in the works for at least four years.
