Nvidia reportedly plans to release three new GeForce RTX 3000 GPUs in January

Despite rumours suggesting that Nvidia hopes to release RTX 4000 graphics cards in 2022, the company is also reportedly planning to release three new GeForce RTX 3000 GPUs in January. These three cards are said to be comprised of all new entry-level RTX 3050, a high-end 3090 Ti, as well as a refreshed 3070 Ti with 16GB of VRAM.

According to new information obtained by Videocardz, it looks like the 3070 Ti 16GB will be announced by team green on December 17, and will be on the shelf January 11, 2022. There's no reveal date for the 3090 Ti yet, but the outlet claims it should be available to buy January 27, 2022.

It's likely the two aforementioned GPUs will rank among the best graphics cards you can buy, provided their launch doesn't mirror the recent release of the RTX 2060 12GB. However, Videocardz has also received confirmation that Nvidia will reveal the presumably much cheaper RTX 3050 on January 4, 2022, possibly during the company's CES press conference, and release on the same day as the 3090 Ti.

This Skyrim mod makes snoozing NPCs grumpy and less dead-looking

On the checklist of things you'd like to see become even more immersive in Skyrim, sleeping is probably not high up. And yet, there are some things, immersion-wise, that don't really add up. Why is the high-and-mighty Jarl Balgruuf the Greater not apoplectic when woken mid-snooze by an out-of-bounds Dragonborn? Why do perfectly healthy NPCs take an eternity (well, nine seconds) to get out of their beds? Why do they all look like they've perished the second their heads have hit their pillows? Who knows. But, a new mod has come along to transform slumbering Skyrim-style into a whole new experience.

Esteemed modder JaySerpa, whose body of work includes creations that let you pet dogs, make interactions way more immersive, and expand famous quests, is behind the new sleeping overhaul. Inspired by a playthrough that saw his Dragonborn ambushed by bandits while rousing from slumber, the mod has three key features: NPCs will now acknowledge being woken up mid-nap, they'll now actually breathe while they sleep, and you can adjust the speed at which they get up from their beds.

The first new feature adds around 50 voice lines used either whole or spliced from the base game, which NPCs will bleat at you if you bother them while they're catching their ZZZs. This is "just for fun", mind, so you won't see any effects to relationships or quests beyond their shouting.

League of Legends patch 12.1 notes – Arcane-themed Firelight Ekko, Elderwood skins, Teleport changes

The first patch of the League of Legends 2022 season has hit the PBE. League of Legends patch 11.24 has headed to live servers to make its debut on the Rift and, following a bunch of teases from Riot Games on social media, the latest batch of new content has begun trickling onto the testing grounds ready for patch 12.1's arrival in the live game soon. Let's take a look.

First up, we've got yet another champion skin inspired by the MOBA game's tremendously successful new spin-off Netflix show, Arcane. This time, it's The Boy Who Shattered Time in for a themed skin, with Riot having previewed Firelight Ekko on League's Twitter channels ahead of his arrival on the PBE. A good thing, too, given his presence in the show as a member of the Firelights gang - and it seems his new look draws on his hoverboard and mask from the series. We've also got some new Elderwood skins on the way, this time for lucky champs Gnar and Rek'Sai.

As is is very often the case when a patch has only just hit the PBE, we don't have any balance changes to check out just yet. However, we know Riot tends to post an early preview at some point in the days following, with the full round of tweaks hitting the PBE shortly afterwards, so we should have a good idea of which champions, items, or runes are in for adjustments very soon. Keep checking back as we'll include everything you need to know in the notes below.

     Halo Infinite skull locations

Want to know where to find the Halo Infinite skulls? As Halo veterans know, skulls have always been a real pain to find in every campaign in the series. However, when you find these skulls, you can use them in the campaign menu to add modifiers, such as doubling the explosion radius.

While you can find a few skulls on the map in the open-world game, there are also specific missions with skulls hidden throughout the campaign. Unfortunately, these skulls are easy to miss, and there's no way to replay missions without starting from the beginning.

Since the Halo Infinite campaign length is reasonably long, you should probably know where to find them first time around. So here are the Halo Infinite skulls locations, modifiers, and key details you need to know before setting off from the nearest fast travel location.

     Halo Infinite multiplayer skins locations

It may surprise you to learn that you can find Halo Infinite multiplayer skins and other cosmetic items in the single-player campaign. You can find them in the open world by capturing FOBs, which ping the skin location on the world map. Once highlighted on your map, it's just a case of finding the Mjolnir Armory cases and opening them up to get the item.

However, not every one of these lockers contains armour coating. They can also have weapon skins, vehicle skins, emblems, nameplates, charms, and stances. Once you've opened a locker, you can equip these items to your character in multiplayer mode. To learn more about how to do this, check out our Halo Infinite character customisation guide.

You could just go and open every one of the Mjolnir Armory lockers. However, we've separated all items into their relevant categories should you wish to prioritise the Halo Infinite multiplayer skins or any of the other unlockable items. In addition, some of the lockers are hard to find, so here's a description of their location.

After a crazy summer that saw Final Fantasy XIV's playerbase expand dramatically during what was supposed to be a quiet period, it's no surprise that anyone wanting to tuck into the new Endwalker expansion has a lot of queueing to do. But if you can stand the two hour waits and dreaded 2002 error then you're in for a grand, if a little slow-starting, adventure.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is the final chapter in the story arc of warring gods Zodiark and Hydaelyn, and sees you trot across the globe to make new friends, fight old foes, and get some space travel under your belt. It's huge. So huge that it's going to take a few more weeks to soak it all in and do a full review justice. Between the queue times and sheer scale and finality of the story, Endwalker is a lengthy undertaking.
