The Corsair Pro Gaming Bundle is half price – time to amp up your gaming setup

Sometimes we grow too attached to our PC setup. We use the same gaming mouse or keyboard long past the point at which we should have replaced them because they're comfortable and familiar. But just as you can find love in the arms of someone new after a heartbreak, so too can you be happy with a new gaming setup. Now would be an ideal time to get one as well, because the Corsair Pro Gaming Bundle is now half price at Best Buy.

This bundle encompasses the three major components of any PC gaming setup, namely, a gaming mouse, a mechanical gaming keyboard and an anti-fray gaming mouse pad. Getting all of these together wrapped up in a neat half price bundle means you can update everything at once certainly makes the process of finding new kit a little easier.

Do you find yourself playing a lot of the best RTS games? Well then, your mouse is probably going to be making a lot of quick and sudden movements, so the anti-fray mouse pad will be really handy. Equally, FPS games lend themselves well to a good keyboard and mouse setup, so you'll want to make sure the right gear, especially if you like battle royales or other competitive games.

Elden Ring feels like a true Dark Souls successor

I'll admit I was worried when Hidetaka Miyazaki, director of FromSoftware, revealed that Dark Souls III would be the final game in the series back in 2017. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice proved Bloodborne wasn't a fluke, and that the developer could branch out from the ingenious formula of its core series and still create something special, but it isn't Dark Souls. It wasn't until after I played Elden Ring for six straight hours that I could finally move on from the beloved trilogy. The king is dead; long live the king.

FromSoft has left Dark Souls behind, but it has taken the series' strengths and bolstered them with new tricks to create something that could be even better in Elden Ring.

After three games, the hallmarks of Dark Souls are well established. There are the obvious furnishings, like bonfires, esoteric progression paths, and brutal boss battles, but the real heart of the series is the relationship between death, exploration, and progression. It's a beautiful, messy love triangle that keeps you struggling through each location until every poisonous pool and foetid corridor is burned into your mind.

Here's the first Euro Truck Simulator 2 Heart of Russia gameplay

So far we've seen some screenshots of Euro Truck Simulator 2's upcoming Heart of Russia DLC, giving us a taste of what's to come. There have been snapshots of the country's pretty rivers and churches as recreated in the sim, but now the folks at SCS Software have shared the first look at the DLC in action.

It's a pretty generous chunk of gameplay, too, coming in at just over 20 minutes long. The clip, which you can check out below, is essentially a ride-along, following a trucker's journey from Vyazma, a town that's a few hours' drive to the west of Moscow, to Kaluga, a city to the southwest of the capital. It's all work in progress, as SCS reminds fans, but it gives us a really good idea of what's on the way.

Starting off in what looks like a relatively sleepy area that's a mix of industrial buildings and trees, we see a variety of quieter, winding country roads, bigger dual carriageways, and some city scenery throughout. Oh, and even another pretty lake and a major river as the truck cruises by at various points. Lovely.

Lost Ark review in progress – MMO excellence

Lost Ark is very nearly the most perfect MMO I've ever played. The combat is fluid and responsive, making me feel vulnerable and powerful in equal measures; the progression is dynamic, constantly feeding me rewards and providing me with meaningful choices and surprising twists; and every system is elaborate, interconnected, and supported by robust tutorials. The whole experience leaves me a little worried about what an MMO designed this well could do to my wallet and my free time.

And it's even better with friends. The reason this is a review-in-progress is because much of my playtime has been on a private press server, which has made duelling, partying up, chatting, and forming guilds challenging. I have managed to join in on the occasional million-hit-point boss battle, kiting around it and dumping abilities for well over half an hour, but I still need more time to run dungeons with companions and see how the 'massively multiplayer' pieces of this MMORPG gel with a proper playerbase.

The early verdict though, is that most of Lost Ark is great. The story is bland, even by MMO standards, and some of the quest design is laughably mechanical, but Lost Ark wins out in pretty much every other department. The environmental design is occasionally jaw-dropping, with Skyrim-esque burial tombs secreted away atop snowy mountains, idyllic springtime forests, and deep caverns bisected by thunderous waterfalls. Combat feels expressive and tactile, and there's huge flexibility to create builds thanks to the multitude of class specialisations. Dungeons and their bosses, meanwhile, combine arena mechanics to create climactic battles that are reminiscent of Super Mario World's final stages.

Lost Ark servers – server list, transfers, and cross server content

So you want to know about Lost Ark servers? They say the most stressful decision in any MMO game is deciding which character class to pick first, but really it's choosing which server to jump into. This is especially important when you're planning to play a game with friends - you'll want to make sure you're all playing on the same server.

So while you may already know which Lost Ark class you want to try out first, you'll need to nail your server choice. If you are playing with friends, it might be worth sharing the server list with them so you can have a conversation about it. Note that North America is split into two region groupings, and the east coast possesses more server options than the west coast. Europe has the largest selection of servers, and there are a couple of South American server options as well.

We've put together this guide so you can see what the current server list is, how to check your server's status, as well as other commonly asked questions such as whether you can change a character's server and which content can be played across servers. Enjoy!

Valve just revealed a bunch of new Steam Deck Verified games

We're just two weeks away from the Steam Deck release date, and Valve is hastily reviewing all 50,000 Steam games for compatibility. At the time of writing, the company has publicly disclosed the verification status of just over 450 games, with some key additions joining the ranks earlier today.

Several of the latest Capcom games are now officially Steam Deck Verified, with Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 2, and Devil May Cry 5 each receiving the coveted compatibility badge. It's likely that the rest of the Resident Evil franchise will shamble on to the portable gaming PC in due course, given there are no anti-cheat barriers in the way.

Other new additions, as collated by Reddit user ThaStripperWhisperer, include a number of games from Xbox Game Studios. Bethesda's Prey and The Evil Within bolster the publisher's existing compatible games such as Dishonored, Deathloop, Fallout 3, and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Ori and the Blind Forest rounds out the new additions, with Psychonauts 2 receiving its Steam Deck Verified certification prior.

GTA Online's weekly update adds Valentine's Day content

It may be reset day in Los Santos, but there's a more important date on the horizon. Next Monday - February 14 - is Valentine's Day, so GTA Online is getting oodles of occasion-specific goodies to make this week's update good and proper. Rockstar Games will have the full rundown on its Newswire later, though the update is already live, so fans are documenting what's new exactly.

You can log in to get a fancy t-shirt, weapon tints, and the Gusenberg Sweeper for free. You've also got an increased chance of seeing the pink diamond as loot in Cayo Perico. You can also earn triple the usual reputation points and in-game cash payout on the Shotgun Wedding deathmatch and 'Till Death Do Us Part adversary mode. If that doesn't send your heart aflutter, you can get triple the usual rewards doing casino story content and missions.

There's plenty here for you car fans, too. Rockstar has added the Baller ST luxury four-door SUV from The Contract update to Legendary Motorsport. You can pick it up for $890,000 in-game bucks or $667,500 if you have something to trade in. The GTA podium vehicle is the BF Club if you're feeling lucky. Meanwhile, the GTA Prize Ride is the Roosevelt - win a street race series for three days straight, and it'll be yours.

How to get a Lost Ark Powerpass and use it to level up

So you want to know about the Lost Ark Power Pass? Alt characters are an understated facet of MMO games and in Lost Ark's case it's almost expected that you have many alts to feed resources into a few core characters, especially if you're trying to farm currency like Lost Ark gold and silver.

But even if you want to have more than one main character - perhaps there are a few Lost Ark classes that catch your eye - levelling each one to the max level can be a pain. Thankfully, the developers of this highly anticipated game understand this and are here to give you a boost - the Power Pass.

This handy consumable lets you level another new character from level 10 to level 50 rapidly through what is called an 'Adventurers' Path' quest, which is a condensed version of the typical journey a player would go through. It guides your alt-character through the key beats of your class progression so that you don't end up with a new max-level character that you don't understand how to use. But how do you get one of these coveted boosts? Here's everything you need to know about the Lost Ark Power Pass.

Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs could arrive just before RTX 4000

The gaming PC scene at large awaits the launch of Intel's Arc Alchemist GPUs, but insiders now say the high-spec desktop graphics cards could launch as late as June. According to sources close to Moores Law Is Dead, the blue team plans to reveal more about its lineup at a Q2 gaming convention, meaning models might arrive just before Nvidia's RTX 4000 series.

MLID's insider information comes from six different sources, and they all agree that Arc Alchemist won't arrive this quarter. There's also a consensus regarding the earliest possible release date, as each leak references March/April. One source says that low-end 512EU 16GB GPU's are now targeting an April 2022 launch, but caveats the claim by saying "even April is looking iffy."

It's important to note that while we could see Arc Alchemist laptop options launch as early as next month, the same can't be said for Intel's AIB desktop cards. One insider suggests that the company could have an announcement planned for PAX East, but generalised Q2 gaming convention claims mean we could hear more at E3 2022.

Phasmophobia devs tease journal changes and

Oh, Kinetic Games. The Phasmophobia developers do love to tease what's coming up to ghost game next, and we all love guessing what each new addition is just as much. The latest teaser comes from lead artist Corey J Dixon on the Phasmophobia Discord server's development preview channel, which hints at some new changes on the way to the game's journal, and the fact that the devs have been able to "make some extra room" in it. Hmm.

"Soon you'll be able to eliminate those pesky ghosts from the journal whenever you want!" Dixon notes in the channel, along with a very mysterious, "we've also managed to make some extra room..." with the eyes-peeping emoji for added tease effect. This is alongside a sneak peek of the journal's evidence page, which shows what appears to be a slight re-jig to its design.

The game's anniversary update last September added a journal overhaul that let you cross off evidence on the ghost evidence page, but it seems there may now be some potential further tweaks to this. The image (below) appears to condense the ghost types and the player's guess of who that round's ghoulish culprit is into one section, with cross-outs and circles denoting eliminated and suspected ghost types.

     Ind, Nippon, and Khuresh are

Don't get your hopes up over the nations of Ind, Nippon, and Khuresh ever coming to Total War: Warhammer 3 at any point in the future. While Creative Assembly principal writer Andy Hall says the team are "never going to say never", he admits that "it's not happening anytime soon". In fact, "probably never".

Hall has been doing the media rounds to talk about the upcoming Total War: Warhammer 3, during which he had a chat with YouTuber Italian Spartacus. As their chat draws to a close, the topic of these three mostly unexplored Warhammer nations arises.

"We're never going to say never because there should always be the opportunity to bring these new races in or new nations, but you know I've seen the roadmap, and these nations aren't on there now," Hall explains. "There are no plans to do them in the immediate or even long-term future. We've still got so much to do with Cathay. Honestly, the stuff I've seen it'll curl your toes in the best possible way. [...] People are kind of desperately hanging on for one of these other nations. [...] Don't lose any sleep; it's not happening anytime soon. Probably never, I'm afraid. Cathay was a brilliant coup for us. Doesn't mean it's going to be repeated."

GTA podium car: here's what vehicle you can win in GTA Online

What is the GTA 5 podium car this week? GTA Online vehicles are expensive things, so we're happy to take a spin on the Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel to get a discount. Winning isn't guaranteed, sure, but it isn't out of the question either. Look, we don't have a problem - leave it alone.

You can spin the Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel once a day, and each Podium Car refreshes after seven days on a Thursday. Basically, you have seven shots to get the vehicle of that given week. If you own a Penthouse, you can spin it for free, but if you don't it's $500 a spin. Don't fret if you don't win, though, as you can win something else. You have a one in 20 chance of getting the podium vehicle, a car discount, or a mystery prize. There's a four in 20 chance of getting clothes, chips, and cash. Finally, there's a five in 20 chance of getting RP.

Keeping tabs on the GTA Online podium car can be a bother, though, so we're going to keep this GTA 5 guide updated so you have somewhere to check back on. On that note, here's the GTA 5 podium car for this week.

Upcoming PC games 2022 and beyond

What are the best upcoming games to keep an eye on this year and the next? Hope, anticipation, agony, and elation - it's the endless cycle of emotions we go through during the annual PC release schedule.

Year in, year out, games - via Steam and otherwise - are produced in such varying degrees of quality that not a single one of them is destined for certain success. Masterpieces are released alongside utter disasters, series are born while others dwindle and, occasionally, a game actually lives up to our expectations.

So how can we possibly navigate the dizzying number of announcements, trailers, and teases to find which of the upcoming PC games we should devote our finite supply of hype to? Us old PCGamesN sages have been round the videogame block plenty of times already, so we're perfectly placed to tell you about the titles you should be saving your pennies up for. Below you'll find the upcoming PC games you should keep on your radar, as well as their expected release dates.

GTA Prize Ride challenge – what is the Prize Ride this week?

The GTA Online Los Santos Tuners update introduced plenty of new content, all focused on the city's underground tuner scene. There's a new 'social space', called the LS Car Meet, where you can show off your souped-up cars, race with fellow gearheads, and take on jobs - here's how to join the LS Car Meet in the Los Santos Tuners update.

Throughout your time spent in the Car Meet, you can level up your reputation and unlock new benefits as you progress. There's also a huge Test Track inside the warehouse, where you can try out Test Rides - a great opportunity to take different vehicles for a spin.

Becoming an LS Car Meet member sets you back $50,000 in-game bucks, but it grants you access to a bunch of underground shops - the Merch Shop, Tattoo Shop, and a Modding Area where you can tweak your car in real time. At higher levels, you can create your own customised area in the Car Meet, called a Private Takeover. LS Car Meet members can also compete in Prize Ride challenges, in order to be in with a chance to win a Prize Ride.

League of Legends update will nerf Zeri next week

Zeri, the Spark of Zaun, recently joined League of Legends with the MOBA game's 12.2 patch. Since then, we've seen the champion's Runaan's Hurricane interaction nerfed, and now a whole bunch of other balance changes have come to the PBE for a round of testing ahead of the next major update's live debut soon.

As per the League of Legends patch 12.4 notes - which are based on what's currently on the testing servers - Zeri's Q ability Burst Fire is in for the most changes. Notably, the base damage her Q deals is being dialled down, though on the upside for Zeri mains the ability's base damage can now crit, so has the potential to pack an extra punch.

Elsewhere, Burst Fire's right-click slow effect is getting a slight nerf in both the amount dealt at the lower ranks and its duration, and its uncharged right-click damage has also dropped. However, the slow amount at the maximum rank has been buffed slightly and the uncharged right-click low health multiplier has increased, too.

I'm happy to announce that rapper Rick Ross is richer than he's ever been. That's according to a song from his latest album: "Richer Than I Ever Been". He may be referring to his own pockets, but it can't be a coincidence that he's perfectly summed up yet another of my early hands-on sessions with FromSoftware's action-RPG Elden Ring.

That's because I've now been able to return to the starting area of Limgrave, this time on PC and with unfettered access to all the nooks and crannies we'll be exploring in just a couple of weeks time - and I found it to be richer and more vast than, well, it had ever been. Dying Light 2 is quite the hardware fiend, hence why enabling DLSS – provided your GPU supports it – is so useful for keeping frame rates up. Sadly, in both the review build I tested and at launch, even the highest quality DLSS setting looked uncharacteristically lower-res. It was still worth using, especially if you fancied clambering over Villedor's rooftops at 4K or with ray tracing effects, but there was a nagging sense that DLSS can do better. And now it can, for Dying Light 2's 1.04 update is live, and sharpens Nvidia's upscaling tech to close that gap between the rendering and native resolutions.

Squall from FFVIII is One of the Characters That Can Be Bought With Gil in Chocobo GP

As suggested in a Japanese screenshot, Squall from FFVIII will be among the initial characters in Chocobo GP. However, he won't be a part of the default roster. Rather, an unlocking element will come into play. To get him, people will have to acquire and pay Gil in the shop.

Square Enix revealed the method of earning Squall on Twitter. When the company did, it also shared his character model. While this is a racing game, he'll still come armed with his Gunblade. It also mentions he will appear alongside the first season of Season Pass content.

We already had an idea that Squall would be one of the characters available in Chocobo GP. A screenshot showing him with Cloud appeared on the Japanese Twitter account. As for Cloud, someone would need to hit level 60 in the first Season Pass in order to earn him.

Chocobo GP will appear on the Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 10, 2022. There is also a free Chocobo GP' game for Android and Apple iOS devices.

Edens Zero: Pocket Galaxy will appear worldwide soon. Konami announced a release date for the mobile game based on Hiro Mashima's latest ongoing manga series. It will be available on February 24, 2022.

A launch trailer for the Pocket Galaxy mobile game appeared on the official Edens Zero YouTube channel. It is available in two separate language versions — Japanese and English. However, there are no significant differences between both versions, including the worldwide simultaneous release date. The English trailer only added subtitles to the Japanese voiceovers.

The channel also hosts an exclusive gameplay video of Pocket Galaxy. It features captions in multiple languages, including English. In this video, Hiro Mashima showed a preview of how the game reproduces the Granbell arc story. Mashima also revealed that he personally requested Konami to add a large number of voiceovers into the game.

Konami first revealed its Edens Zero game projects at Tokyo Game Show 2020. Besides the mobile game, it is also working on a 3D action RPG for consoles. The Pocket Galaxy mobile game will have a worldwide English version in addition to the domestic Japanese release. Konami has opened pre-registration for the global release since September 2021.

Edens Zero: Pocket Galaxy will appear worldwide for Android and iOS mobile devices on February 24, 2022.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Face My Fears Remix

Hikaru Utada released a new remix video for "Face My Fears," which serves as the main theme for Kingdom Hearts 3. The music video premiered exclusively through the musician's YouTube account. It features several key scenes from Kingdom Hearts 3, including major spoilers for story events in the title. The new "Face My Fears" remix was done in collaboration with A.G. Cooks and arrives just as the Kingdom Hearts series arrives on Nintendo Switch through its cloud system.

This new version of the song first appeared on Utada's album Bad Mode as a bonus track. Shortly after, it was announced that a music video for "Face My Fears" remix would appear on YouTube with scenes from Kingdom Hearts 3. The original version of the song was made in collaboration with Skrillex. While both versions of the song have a more electronic sound, this version sounds significantly different.

You can watch the music video for the "Face My Fears" A.G. Cooks remix below. Please keep in mind that it features flashing lights and some intense effects. Those with photosensitivity may want to avoid watching the video.

In January 2019, consumers could purchase a Face My Fears EP, which included the English and Japanese version of "Face My Fears." It also included "Don't Think Twice," which is another song that appears in the game.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is available on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Gundam Port Yokohama

To celebrate the extension of the life-size movable Gundam attraction in Yokohama, Bandai will set up Gundam Port Yokohama from February 19 to March 13, 2022. While people have to buy tickets to view the life-size Gundam up close, anyone can enter the extended venue in Yokohama Bay Area for free.

The venue will feature more attractions and displays related to the Gundam franchise. Some of the highlights include a reproduction of the White Base's bridge, a prototype scanner to bring Gunpla into virtual battles, and a Gunpla runner recycling center. It will also have limited giveaways of an exclusive RX-78-2 Gundam card for the new arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam: Arsenal Base.

Some of the venue's attractions will feature content outside of the original 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam show. There will be a projection mapping featuring the Unicorn Gundam, a floating balloon of Gundam SEED's Freedom Gundam, and an Iron-Blooded Orphans photo spot where visitors can take a picture with Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuka.

Gundam Factory Yokohama originally appeared in December 2020, and Bandai initially planned to close the venue on March 31, 2022. However, on January 28, 2022, it announced a one-year extension to the attraction. The company and city officials made the decision after receiving many requests from people, both inside and outside of Japan, who could not visit the venue due to the pandemic.

Gundam Port Yokohama will appear from February 19 to March 13, 2022. The primary life-size Mobile Suit attraction at Gundam Factory Yokohama will remain open until March 31, 2023.

genshin impact yae miko

miHoYo released more information on Yae Miko ahead of her official appearance as a playable member of the Genshin Impact roster. Yae Miko will be a 5-star Electro Catalyst user and a damage dealer. With how her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst work, she will likely fill the sub-DPS role.

Similar to Klee, Yae Miko's attack animations are slightly different from normal catalyst users. Her attacks will look like kitsune spirits, and she will hold a wand. Her Skill, Yakan Evocation: Sesshou Sakura, will make her dash on the field and leave behind an Electro DMG turret. She can create a total of three turrets. The more turrets on the field, the greater each one's damage output is.

She doesn't need to remain on the field for her turrets to take effect. However, you can make the most of them with her as the active character. Her Burst, Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin, sends down a bolt of lightning and destroys all Sesshou Sakura on the field. When you destroy a Sesshou Sakura in this way, they will burst and cause AoE Electro DMG. Her kit resembles a more powerful version of Fischl's.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tV2QOX9fXEE

Yae Miko's trailer on miHoYo's YouTube channel introduces some of the things that she likes, such as fried tofu and novels. It serves more to introduce Yae Miko as a character rather than a combatant. Ratana (Leonie in Fire Emblem: Three Houses) provides her English voice while Ayane Sakura (Alice Hiiragi in Persona 5 Strikers) is her Japanese voice actress.

Genshin Impact is readily available worldwide on PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Yae Miko will appear alongside Version 2.5, which will go live in Genshin Impact on February 16, 2022. Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi will also have re-run banners in Version 2.5.

Yomawari 3 New Monsters Areas

Nippon Ichi Software revealed more information regarding Yomawari 3 and the areas and monsters that will appear in it. The areas include a shopping district, an abandoned school, a derelict ship, and a graveyard. Additionally, Nippon Ichi Software outlined what kinds of ghoulish apparitions will appear in these locations. As it stands, there will be a unique monster of sorts within each area. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Each area will feature a different design and theme. For example, the shopping district will have stray dogs. These dogs appear to be barking at nothing, while another pack will impede your progress. The spirit that appears here is known as the Roadblock. It is a large furry mass made out of several eyes and mouths.

[gallery ids="915796,915797,915798" link="file"]

The abandoned school is more straightforward. In the school, the player will be able to obtain scraps of a diary. The diary will feature an exchange between two people about the various rumors regarding the school. Players can encounter a tall Faceless Man in the abandoned school who will begin to chase them upon spotting them. Additionally, players can check out a skeleton specimen, which has several rumors surrounding it.

[gallery ids="915799,915800,915801" link="file"]

The derelict ship is an area that has been left to ruin and decay. While on the ship, your flashlight and watch will go out of control. The abandoned ship is home to the Water Spirit. Players can also find an old camera, which will emit a strong flash of light. Additionally, players can use smoke bombs that will illuminate various areas on the ship. However, light provided by the smoke bombs is only temporary.

[gallery ids="915791,915792,915795" link="file"]

And lastly, the graveyard. This location has been left neglected for many years. Players will encounter several spirits in this location. The grotesque looking Three Spirits block the player's path.

[gallery ids="915788,915789,915790" link="file"]

While screenshots of the areas were previously shown, this if the first in-depth look at places like the abandoned school and ship. Previously, Nippon Ichi Software revealed key characters that will appear in the title.

Yomawari 3 is in development. It will release in Japan on April 21, 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary

Consumers can now obtain tickets for the Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary event exhibit. However, they will need to participate in a lottery system on the Square Enix Members website in order to get a ticket. That said, there are some stipulations as to who can register through this system. These include being located within Japan and being at least 18 years of age. Applicants for the lottery will also need a Square Enix account. Applications will remain open until February 17, 2022. Winners will be notified if they have won a ticket sometime in early March 2022. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

A total of 150 applicants will be selected to receive tickets through the lottery system. Square Enix also shared some rules for attending the event. One rule prohibits participants from filming during the event. Anyone caught recording footage of the event will be asked to delete the footage and leave. Additionally, Square Enix stated that if you are chosen through the lottery system, your travel to Shibuya, or further accommodations, will not be paid for.

The Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary event exhibit will be held at Shibuya Hikarie. The exhibit will feature various artworks from the series, including character renders and the stained glass artworks found in Dive to the Heart. In January 2022, Square Enix outlined the event in full. Additionally, it stated that a recorded version of the event will be made available at a later date.

The Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary event will take place on April 10, 2022 in Tokyo, Japan.

13 Sentinels Aegis Rim Demo

A demo for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is available for the Nintendo Switch via the Japanese eShop, and Atlus has released some streaming rules for it. Players cannot upload music from the game for commercial purposes, or upload any streamed footage to commercial websites. However, Atlus does allow players to stream the game to YouTube, Twitch, and other streaming platforms. That said, any progress made in the Nintendo Switch demo for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will carry over to the full release of the game. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Alongside the streaming regulations, Atlus stated that if any video, or streamed footage, infringes upon the rules it has set in place, it will remove the content. It also stated that it will not compensate any third party for the removal of their footage. The demo takes roughly 3 hours to complete. In it, players can progress through the tutorial as well as through Stages 1-5.

In November 2021, Atlus announced 13: Sentinels Aegis Rim would release for Nintendo Switch during a special anniversary broadcast. The stream revealed that the Nintendo Switch version of the title will be identical to its PlayStation 4 release. However, the Nintendo Switch version will have new weapons added to it.

13: Sentinels Aegis Rim is immediately available for PlayStation 4. It will release on Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 14, 2022 and April 12, 2022 for North America and Europe. A demo is available on the Japanese Nintendo eShop.

Elden Ring 01If there's one thing I can easily state after six-ish hours of Elden Ring hands-on preview time on PC, it's that the game is very definitely a 'Soulsborne' game. In fact, I can go one step further: it's pretty much a Dark Souls game. Shields are useful. Combat is… well, not ponderous, but weightier than Sekiro or Bloodborne. Poise, staggering, and item weight are things of huge importance. In a lot of ways, Elden Ring feels like Dark Souls 4 with the names swapped out. I mean, the spell styles (Sorceries and Incantations) have different names and are mashed up a bit, but they're effectively used the same way. Bonfires are Sites of Grace, and Souls are Runes, etc. But for all of that? If this is Dark Souls 4, then it's had a lot more meaningful additions than we saw at any time between Souls and Souls 3.   Elden Ring: Previewing the Lands Between The biggest change is the shift to a mostly open-world format, and this happens nigh i...

Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical gaming keyboard reviewAs the gaming keyboard market continues to fill with offerings from almost every company near and far, there are still those companies that rely not only on name recognition, but the respective history of quality as well. Corsair has been at the forefront of the PC peripheral market for years thanks to its wide array of mechanical gaming keyboards. The Corsair K70 RGB was one of the company's most popular keyboards ever released, which has since resulted in multiple follow-ups such as the TKL variant we reviewed last year. With the new K70 RGB Pro mechanical gaming keyboard, Corsair knew it had to deliver on its follow up. With carried over features and hopeful improvements to the overall experience, is this a keyboard worth the price tag of $160 USD, or should you look to spend your money elsewhere?   What's the big deal? With the K70 RGB Pro, Corsair retains the same aluminum frame, Cherry MX switches, and per-key RGB. From a switch standpoint, you get a number of options wit...
