It looks like Fortnite Indiana Jones could fight Darth Vader

A prominent leaker suggests that a Fortnite Indiana Jones collab is coming, and is seemingly set to arrive as part of Chapter 3 Season 3. This leak goes hand in hand with the recent Fortnite Star Wars leak from Epic Games itself, with the same leaker suggesting Darth Vader will be a boss character. Yes, Indiana Jones can fight Darth Vader.

Once again, Fortnite proves that the battle royale game is really just Epic Games trying to recreate The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. Last week, the developer 'accidentally' leaked filenames for possible Fortnite collaborations in the Unreal Engine 5 livestream - including two characters specifically for Season 3, "Vader" and "Jones".

According to leaker Tabor Hill, Darth Vader will likely be on the Fortnite map as an NPC boss - just like The Mandalorian in the first Fortnite Star Wars crossover in Chapter 2 Season 5. However, the "Jones" skin was theorised by leakers to be Fortnite's own Agent Jones or Jonesy, but Tabor Hill says this is actually a different Lucasfilm character - Indiana Jones.

Halo MCC Flood Firefight teased, coming

It looks like the long-awaited Halo MCC Flood Firefight mode is finally getting added, and very soon too. The Halo: The Master Chief Collection Flood mode is coming "next week", going by a tease on official Halo channels - long before Halo Infinite even gets co-op.

Halo Infinite - the most recent and much-lauded entry in the long-running FPS game series - released last December, so you'd expect interest to drop off from the older games in the franchise. That doesn't seem to be the case, with the Master Chief Collection still having a good player base - and Halo Infinite won't get campaign co-op until Season 2 kicks off.

Now, the official Halo Twitter account confirms that "something new" is coming to the collection "next week". It teased this with a picture of a Halo marine fighting the Flood, leading players to believe that the long-rumoured Halo MCC Flood Firefight mode is finally coming - despite never being a thing in the original games, as Firefight is usually just about fighting the Covenant.

YouTube and Ali-A are launching a talent show for new content creators

Call of Duty and Fortnite content creator Alastair 'Ali-A' Aiken is teaming up with YouTube to unearth a new wave of influencers through a talent show. This one is called uTure, and it has a grand prize of $100k.

The way it'll all work is reasonably straightforward. Starting in June, ten applicants will face weekly content creation challenges over nine weeks. Judges like Lachlan 'Lachlan' Power, Kayla 'LilSimsie' Sims, and more are running the rule over all of this. The rest of the judging panel, though, will be revealed later today at 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT on Ali-A's main YouTube channel. Once the time comes, you can catch episodes of the talent show every Saturday and Wednesday on the uTure channel.

Entries for this one open today at 6pm BST, and involve submitting a YouTube Short as an application, which is a new short-form video experience created for mobile. Doing so is a doddle. Simply create a 60-second short on the app and ensure you've got the #uTureShow included.

I know all I do is chat about the weather lately, but have you looked outside? Ridiculous. Where's my spring. Yesterday I watched a shower of hail fall from a bright blue sky. Give me spring. But while we're still stuck standing in front of our open doors, dashing out for five steps of sunshine before ducking back in and slamming it shut to escape a gale, what are you playing this weekend? Here's what we're clicking on.

Game Licenses Expire PS3 PS Vita

A PlayStation Network bug is causing game licenses to suddenly expire, preventing users from playing games on the PS3 and Vita. First reported for purchased and downloaded versions of Chrono Cross, the bug has also affected games like Chrono Trigger and many others. Evidence points to the phenomenon being a network glitch. [Thanks, Prima Games!]

Earlier this week, users began reporting issues with playing the PSOne Classic version of Chrono Cross on PS3. The initial theory was that Square Enix had delisted the older version of the game, due to the recent release of Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition remaster. That was the case for the recent Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster releases, which saw Square Enix remove older versions from the Steam store. That said, users could still play the older version if they had purchased it.

However, the problem has reportedly been affecting games from other publishers as well. Specifically, users have reported getting errors stating that a game's license expired on January 1, 1970. The error messages have been seemingly random. They've affected games for some users while working fine for others, as well as depending on the console.

GamesHub's Edmond Tran found that, while the PS1 version of Chrono Cross no longer appeared on the Vita store, he could still play it through his download list. On the other hand, it was available in the PS3 store and could be installed, but displayed the above error message.

The expiration date in question is of particular importance. As users have pointed out in the comments, the date is the "Unix epoch." When developing the first computing systems, Unix engineers arbitrarily picked the date as the "zero point" of time. It's also commonly used as a default timestamp in a database. As such, it's highly likely that the expired game licenses are a result of a PSN bug.

Sony has yet to comment on the issue.
