People are making awesome things with Roblox's new animation creator

On August 5, the Roblox Developer forums announced the company was introducing its Live Animation Creator into beta in the massive sandbox game. Previously, Roblox animations required keyframe animations, which meant developers would have to painstakingly craft each image to get the animations precisely correct, pairing it with Inverse Kinematics to manage avatar joint rotations and FBX files, which handle 3D models.

TFT patch 12.15 notes – pool party Umbras and a Nomsy Trainer buff

This week's Teamfight Tactics patch 12.15 has arrived, and the patch notes for the League of Legends-flavoured autobattler's latest update include some important buffs for a couple traits. Shimmerscales and Trainers are both getting beefed up in different ways, and so are a selection of champs. The latest patch also adds in some new pool party Umbra variants that you can either buy or crack open in random eggs. Aurelion Sol, who figured prominently into the last couple rounds of TFT patch notes, seems to have calmed down for now.

Riot says it's adjusting the Trainer trait's hungry frog, Nomsy, who grows as she devours delicious 'Snax' picked up during rounds. The idea behind the changes is to require Trainers to protect and care for Nomsy early on, with promise of her becoming a formidable force late in the game.

Destiny 2: what is the Nightfall weapon this week?

Want to know what this week's Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon is? Each week you've got a chance at a different weapon for completing Nightfall Strikes, and ever since Season of the Lost, fan-favourite legacy weapons from the original Destiny have been added to the rotation. Two new weapons were introduced into the pool in Season of the Risen, so it's more important than ever to know in advance the Nightfall weapon schedule.

In case you don't know what the Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon means, Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu, alongside the basic Strike playlist. Each week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall, and offered in five escalating difficulties, with harder enemies, challenging modifiers, and enemy power levels cranking up.

The coveted Nightfall weapons have a chance to drop from any Nightfall Strike difficulty, but it's far more likely at higher levels. Your best bet for farming each week's Nightfall weapon is to set the Strike to Master difficulty, according to YouTuber Aztecross. You should also note that there's no automatic matchmaking above Hero difficulty, however, so you'll need to get a squad together.

.hack 20th anniversary exhibit

An art exhibit celebrating the 20th anniversary of the .hack series has opened in Japan. The .hack//20th Anniversary Exhibit is available on the 7th floor of Yurakucho Marui mall in Tokyo, Japan, until August 28, 2022.

The exhibit displays artworks featuring characters from the .hack game and anime series. People can enter the venue by paying an entry fee of 1,100 yen, and they will receive a small illustration paper. However, the exhibit will not be available on August 17, 2022, because the building as a whole will close on that day.

The venue also has a store selling merchandise related to the franchise. For every 2,000 yen spent in the store, customers will receive an additional greeting card for free.

The art exhibit is one of the celebrations Bandai Namco made to mark the .hack series' 20th anniversary. The company previously worked with Famitsu to release physical editions of the .hack 20th Anniversary Book in July 2022.

The .hack series comprises anime, games, and novels that depict a fictional MMORPG titled The World and the people related to the game, such as players and staff members. The releases of the .hack//Sign anime and the PS2 game .hack//Infection in 2002 marked the series' debut. To date, the latest game released is .hack//G.U. Last Recode. The remastered compilation of the PS2 .hack//G.U. titles—with an additional brand-new story chapter—is available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

touhou 100th black market

The 18.5th addition to the Touhou Project franchise, Black Market of Bulletphilia ~ 100th Black Market, has a page on the Steam online storefront. However, there is no release date or price tag as of yet. In terms of chronology, 100th Black Market takes place after Unconnected Marketeers and follows Kirisame Marisa on her investigation. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

According to the Steam page, it will have the same basic system as the previous game in which you collect Ability Cards to fight. There are also a lot of new cards. Under the modified battle system, the game will have a stronger element of randomness and speed to it. Additionally, the Steam page notes that there is no English support for the game.

100th Black Market is a game that ZUN made to commemorate Comiket 100. Those visiting Comiket, which will take place on August 13 and 14, 2022, can actually get the game there. It is unclear if the Steam version will appear around that date or if it will be a while in the future. You can view some of the screenshots from the game on Steam as well. For example, there is a picture of a Cirno card that you can buy for 160 Bullet Money.

Black Market of Bulletphilia ~ 100th Black Market ~ will be the latest entry in the Touhou Project franchise. It will come out on Windows PC sometime in the near future.

G Gundam Singer Yoshifumi Ushima

Yoshifumi Ushima, the Japanese singer most famous for his songs in Mobile Fighter G Gundam, died on August 7, 2022. One of his staff members broke the news on his official Twitter account. The 55-year-old singer had been suffering from chronic liver cirrhosis, and it caused an esophageal varices rupture that led to his death.

Born in September 1966, Ushima began his musical career in 1994. "Flying in the Sky," the first opening theme for Mobile Fighter G Gundam, was his debut song. He would also sing "Trust You Forever," the second opening song of the same mecha anime.

Yoshifumi Ushima was also known as a composer who provided compositions for numerous anime songs. Two of the most notable examples were "Butterfly Kiss," the first opening theme of Rave Master, and "Eien no Tobira," the theme song of Gundam: The 08th MS Team - Miller's Report, both of which were sung by Chihiro Yonekura. Ushima also composed the character image songs for Gundam Wing's Heero Yuy and Trowa Barton.

As a singer of G Gundam opening themes, Yoshifumi Ushima's songs often appear in games that feature the title. Bandai Namco will include the short-looped vocal versions of "Flying in the Sky" and "Trust You Forever" in the Premium Sound & Data Pack DLC for SD Gundam Battle Alliance. The DLC pack will be available on the PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on the same day the game releases worldwide on August 25, 2022.

cinderella girls idolmaster

Eleven years after its debut, it's time for The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls to take a bow and leave the stage. Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that on March 30, 2023, The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls will end service. The tweet did not mention any particular reason as to why. It will also include more details in game.

There is also an announcement on the game's official web page, with a longer message from the game's producer, Yozo Sakagami. The message does not include any details as to why the game is shutting down. However, it touches on Sakagami's gratitude to all the producers who played the game for over a decade.

In November 2011, Cinderella Girls was the first mobile game in the The Idolmaster franchise. Sakagami mentions that at the time, he did not know how it would do and prepared for the game to end after a few months. In truth, The Idolmaster: Pop Links shut down service earlier this year after 1.5 years. However, Cinderella Girls reached the 10-year milestone because of the fans and the team.

With over ten years under its belt, Cinderella Girls has over 190 idols, and 90 of them have voices. There is also an anime series, as well as live events and singles. Characters from the game have even appeared in other works, such as Granblue Fantasy.

The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls will shut down service on March 30, 2023. Until then, the game is available on mobile devices.

A purple attack effect will complete the pack.

Good Smile Company will close pre-orders for the Nendoroid figure of Arcueid Brunestud on September 22, 2022. It will ship the finished packages to Japan in January 2023 and North America in March 2023.

Arcueid was one of the three Tsukihime characters that Good Smile would make Nendoroids of, as it announced at WonHobby 35 in February 2022. The other two characters will be Akiha Tohno and Ciel. The company then revealed an unpainted prototype of Arcueid's Nendoroid at WonHobby G Spring 2022 in late May.

Arcueid Brunestud is a key character in Type-Moon's 2000 visual novel Tsukihime. In 2021, Type-Moon released a remake titled Tsukihime -a piece of blue glass moon- for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac trailers opening runningWhen Bandai Namco announced the Pac-Man World Re-Pac remake a little while back, it came as a genuine surprise. Although plenty of players remember the original Pac-Man World fondly, it does not frequently come up in discussions about 1990s 3D platformers — at least not as much as the heavy hitters like Super Mario 64 and Spyro the Dragon. But even though a simple port would have sufficed, it nonetheless remains fortunate that today's players will have easy access to Pac-Man World in some form. For fans who want a closer look into how Pac-Man World Re-Pac differs from the original, Bandai Namco recently uploaded two trailers, one that depicts the new opening cinematic and one that directly compares the graphical styles of both versions. Fans of the PlayStation One version of Pac-Man World will no doubt notice that the new opening movie plays out much differently compared to the original. Although both opening movies depict Pac-Man's iconic ghost enemies abd...

Unwake Game First Person Melee Steam PcCruising around the internet today, I stumbled on something new and rather interesting coming from RealityArts Studio and publisher Toplitz. The team that brought us The Stranger VR announced its next game: Unwake, a first-person melee game that drops you in the middle of a war. But it's not just any war; it's a holy war with a description that could have come from the mind of Spawn creator Todd McFarland. Heaven and Hell are waging a war in Unwake, and you're in the center of it with a big-ass weapon in hand. As described in the Steam page, you are the "last bastion." Naturally this means it's up to you to decide the fate of the human race. During Unwake's "dystopian end-time," humanity is caught in the middle of a serious rock and a hot place. What becomes of the squishy mortals is apparently something baked in as a morality system. "Punishment or absolution" is something you bring to your foes, generally in the form o...

Subnautica Unknown Worlds New Game Gamescom 2022A new game from Subnautica developer Unknown Worlds is set to be revealed during Gamescom 2022 later this month. The news was revealed by Geoff "Funky Shoes" Keighley earlier today in a Twitter post. Unknown Worlds then followed up, confirming it'll be at the show with a turn-based, sci fi strategy game in tow. What's important about the announcement is that the game is not the one set in the Subnautica universe. Instead, Keighley reports it will be a "brand new sci-fi IP" from the team. In other words, the reveal will most likely be about the mysterious 'Project M,' which the studio has been working on for some time.   Unknown Worlds is apparently working on two games: Project M, and another in the Subnautica world. In February, our sister-site The Escapist published an interview with the Subnautica lead, David Kalina.
