Otherwise known as simulacra, Tower of Fantasy characters are largely cosmetic skins in this anime game. While it's possible to imbue these avatars with minor buffs via the awakening system, most of their skills and abilities are tied to the weapon they wield. Team composition in Tower of Fantasy is closer to a weapons loadout, and the best characters are actually the best Tower of Fantasy weapons. However, for the purposes of this Tower of Fantasy tier list, we'll primarily be referring to the weapons you pull by the name of the simulacra that comes with them. This tier list also takes into account weapon advancements, which is what happens when you collect a duplicate of an SR or SSR simulacra. Potion sellers, prepare your strongest potions. Customers will want them whether they can handle them or not. So it goes with Potionomics, a new management sim developed by Voracious Games, which releases today on PC via Steam. Saddled with a mountain of debt and cutthroat competition, she must out-brew and out-bargain her rivals to become the premiere potion purveyor in the city of Rafta. The game is a narrative-driven RPG that blends business management and deck-building elements. Players will manage the shop and balance its expenditures, brew potions and find the most effective recipes, and negotiate with customers. Potionomics negotiations take place using a card-based system, where players balance Sylvia's stress levels with the demands of the conversation. Players can also befriend the locals, furthering their relationships and forming intimate bonds. Making connections also enhances Sylvia's negotiation game, unlocking useful bargaining cards to make dealing with picky customers easier. Potionomics was first announced in 2020, but began making appearances at shows like PAX East this year. Voracious also released a limited-time playable demo during the Steam Next Fest earlier in October. Potionomics is available on PC via Steam for $24.99. A Deluxe Edition release includes a digital artbook and soundtrack for $39.99. Both editions have a launch discount of 10% and 15%, respectively, ending on October 24, 2022. NIS America has confirmed its release plans for two upcoming Nihon Falcom titles: The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure and the PS5 edition of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. Azure will launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC via Steam on March 14, 2023. Meanwhile, Ys IX lands on the PS5 in Spring 2023. Set in the City of Crossbell, it takes place several months after The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero (which NISA launched in late September 2022). The game continues the story of aspiring hero Lloyd Bannings and the Special Support Section (SSS). Though a temporary peace has settled on Crossbell, multiple factions with their own motives are driving up tensions once more. In particular are pressures faced by both the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is the latest game in the long-running Ys series. It puts players in the role of Adol Christin once more. Adol's latest adventure takes place in Balduq, a "prison city" menaced by mysterious individuals called "Monstrums". The PS5 release will include all prior cosmetic DLC released. Bayonetta 3 voice actor Jennifer Hale has responded to the recent controversy surrounding her replacement of Hellena Taylor for the role of Bayonetta. The actor took to Twitter to address the issue but declined to mention any specifics due to an ongoing non-disclosure agreement. However, Hale did urge fans to keep in mind the "team of hard-working, dedicated people" that helped make the upcoming game. The controversy began when Hellena Taylor, the former voice actor for Bayonetta's titular protagonist, asked fans to boycott Bayonetta 3 in a series of videos posted to Twitter. Among various allegations, Taylor criticized developer PlatinumGames and its co-founder, Hideki Kamiya, for business practices she called "immoral". One example included offering the actor a total of $4000 to voice the entire game despite the franchise making over $450 million before merchandise, which Taylor labeled as "insulting". Jennifer Hale has since responded with a Tweet of her own, in which she clarified that she supported every actor's right to be paid well. Pre-orders are open until November 7, 2022 JST, and will ship out in December 2022. This sweater is not part of an acrylic charm sales campaign on Bancolle. Purchasing over 2000 JPY worth of eligible items will net customers a free charm. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!] All of the sweaters come in four sizes: S, M, L, and XL. These sizes are unisex. They also all cost 7150 JPY, which is approximately $48. You can get sweater depicting the emblems of Asticassia School of Technology, Jeturk House, Peil House, or Grassley House. The respective representatives for each house are Guel Jeturk, Elan Ceres, and Shaddiq Zenelli. Premium Bandai does not offer international shipping, which means overseas customers who want these sweaters will need to use a proxy service. This comes via WCCFTech, which got hold of an internal report from AMD that reportedly confirms the reduced production of Zen 4 CPUs. This is emblematic of a wider problem in the PC market of companies producing too much stock. AMD's decision isn't too surprising when you consider the factors of the wider market. The main reason given for the reduced production of AMD's Zen 4 CPUs is due to "a decline in the PC market and the overall poor reception of the AM5 platform," according to WCCFTech. AMD has reportedly made too many CPUs, and not enough people are buying up the stock. This is a problem that Nvidia also faced earlier in the year, albeit due to additional factors. The economy will be set back to zero, and everyone will start out with no equipment or levels. You will not be able to transfer any coins, loot, or character progression from the regular servers to these new servers. Of course, those were put together by Vicarious Visions, so big emphasis on the technical aspect. With Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, the PC platform has finally been graced by Naughty Dog's presence. This collection contains what I consider to be the best of the Uncharted games along with its enjoyable, yet less impressive expansion. The ports are excellent and the games look better than ever, making this a worthwhile introduction to Nathan Drake and company. As long as you're not photosensitive. Obviously, previous games in the Uncharted series haven't made it to PC, so it's a bit weird to start off with what basically amounts to the franchise's swan song.
