So whether you are speeding down the highway on the Batcycle, zipping between rooftops with your grappling hook, or using the first Knighthood skill to soar through the sky, the harsh reality is that it takes several minutes to get to your destination. In our experience, it took until Night 6 to unlock Gotham Knights fast travel, which just so happened after beating the second part of the Harley Quinn case file, when a message came through from Lucius Fox. He was one of Batman's trusted confidants, and he now wishes to meet you on the rooftop of the Foxteca headquarters. As it turns out, he didn't just want to send his condolences; he also has a glider he wants to give you. Unfortunately, the GCPD has sent drones to interfere with any unauthorised aircraft flying over Gotham City. So you'll need to hack them before using Fast Travel. Immediately after arriving, I embarked on an early-evening pilgrimage of sorts, my only goal to wander once familiar paths in an attempt to capture a spark of the life I no longer lived. As I ambled past houses that used to be homes, local haunts and darkened lecture halls, it was the differences that stood out the most. Pubs with names I didn't recognise. Shops in locations that were more convenient than the ones I used to rely upon. Huge buildings that had seemingly sprung out of deserted scrubland. The city felt intimate yet alien. I was both a stranger and a local, a foreigner in a place I'd once adored. I was thinking about this experience a lot when I was invited to play a short hands-on demo of Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake. Here is a remake of my favourite game ever made, a title I have replayed countless times in the 17 years since its original debut, and all I can do is think about the little things. Tiny alterations that feel much larger when surrounded by something so immediately recognisable. This was the same Resident Evil 4 I've always known, but one that feels bigger, better and more dynamic. I left my session excited to play more, cautiously optimistic that Capcom may be in the process of crafting their best remake to date. |

Capcom showed off new footage of its Resident Evil 4 Remake during its Resident Evil Showcase stream on October 20, 2022. It also confirmed that the game is headed to PS4, PC, and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Previously the game was only confirmed for release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X. Owners of the PS4 version will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free. The new gameplay footage showed off Leon going through some of the earliest portions of the game, such as exploring the first abandoned house and entering the Ganados' village. Now-iconic encounters like fighting the Chainsaw Ganado have new twists, like environmental destruction, and Leon parrying the chainsaw with his combat knife. Some scenes that were simple dialog exchanges before are reframed and shot as cinematic cutscenes in the remake. Lighting overall is also quite different. Encounters that took place in broad daylight before now happen at night or in the driving rain. Glimpses of redesigned characters like Ada Wong and Ashley Graham were also seen. Leon can buy weapons from him like before, as well as tune them up with upgrades. A trading system that allows Leon to trade collectible "rare gems" for special items will be present in the remake. The Resident Evil 4 remake will also have a Deluxe and Collector's Edition package for those who are interested. The Deluxe Edition includes four cosmetic skins for Leon and two for Ashley, as well as a sunglasses (sporty) accessory. There are also special "Hero" and "Villain" visual filters to change the look of the game. The Deluxe package also adds two "deluxe weapons" (A special Sentinel Nine pistol and Skull Shaker shotgun). A "Treasure Map Expansion" also adds additional treasures. Finally, the Deluxe Edition lets players swap to the original version of the soundtrack for additional nostalgia. The Collector's Edition package includes the Deluxe Edition content, a digital soundtrack, and physical goods like a Steelbook case, a map poster, special box, art book, and a figure of Leon holding a shotgun. Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI. The trailer, titled "Ambition," delves into the game's story and even shows off a bit of gameplay. Specifically, several short glimpses of battles are shown, both those involving Clive's party and those between Eikons. Check out the four-and-a-half-minute-long trailer at this link. The new Final Fantasy XVI trailer reveals that the land of Valisthea has been slowly dying for the past fifteen hundred years. The light of the Mothercrystals, which bless the land, has been fading. In order to hold on to their blessings, the trailer suggests, the realms of Valisthea—the Grand Duchy of Rosaria, the Holy Empire of Sanbreque, the Dhalmekian Republic, the Iron Kingdom, and the Kingdom of Waloed—are prepared for war. Sanbreque even goes so far as to invade Rosaria, with the mysterious Dominant of Ifrit summoning their Eikon during the attack. Much like in the previous trailer, several Eikons are shown, including Odin and Bahamut. An Audi car with Sonic Frontiers livery will appear in Japan. Sega and Audi have revealed a special model of the Audi R8 Coupe V10 performance 5.2FSI quattro S tronic with its exterior design modeled after the upcoming Sonic game. Audi will sell the one-off car in Japan in late 2022. [Thanks, 4Gamer!] Hitotsuyama Racing, the racing team known for fielding an Audi car in the GT300 class of Super GT, created this Sonic Frontiers livery design. The livery will have a unique number of 11.8, which signifies the game's release date of November 8, 2022. Audi has been selling the original car model at around 32,330,000 yen, or approximately $215,800. The brand's Japanese dealer will reveal the pricing for the one-off Sonic Frontiers R8 in November 2022. This is because Sega will only release physical editions of the game on those platforms in Japan. Contrary to the Western releases, the Japanese and Asian PlayStation and Switch versions will only contain Japanese and English voiceovers, with additional subtitles in Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. The Xbox and PC versions will have a universal build that includes all languages, but those releases will only be available digitally in Japan. Sega has been doing many collaborations to promote Sonic Frontiers. Earlier in October 2022, it announced a collaboration with Capcom's Monster Hunter series. A free DLC pack scheduled to arrive on November 14, 2022, will add a steak-cooking mini-game and Rathalos armor sets for Sonic. This is not the first time Sega has launched an automotive collaboration. In late 2021, it created a one-off PC that can also double as an RC car with a maximum speed of 100 km/h (~62 mph). Bandai Spirits has revealed an Ichiban Kuji lottery based on Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. It will launch the lottery at 7-Eleven and Ito-Yokado stores around Japan on November 11, 2022. After buying tickets worth 700 yen each, people will get a guaranteed chance to win an item at random. The highest prize will allow them to own a 20cm (~7.87in) figure of Suletta Mercury designed by the title's character designer, Mogumo. The person who draws the last ticket will also win a special visual stand drawn by Mogumo. While this lottery mostly focuses on the latest Gundam anime show, it will also contain a few items from earlier alternate universe titles. The G and H prizes will include items from Gundam SEED, SEED Destiny, Gundam 00, Gundam AGE, and Iron-Blooded Orphans. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Thursday, October 20, 2022 6:49 PM  During a showcase today, Capcom at last presented some much-desired gameplay footage for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake. For the most part, the game certainly evokes memories of the 2004 survival horror classic. But, as expected, there are some very clear changes (and not just graphically). The remake is putting on a much more serious air and, while still campy, it's not quite as campy as the original. At least, not from what we see in the new trailers. That's not to say the Resident Evil 4 remake is devoid of precious camp in its gameplay trailer. Oh no. In the pivotal early scene in the game, where Leon is being chased by furious Ganados, he does belt out a one-liner or two. "Bill me for the repairs later," he yells to no one in particular after lighting a poor cow on fire by shooting an overhead lightbulb.
