Now when you look at Steam's aggregation of Cyberpunk 2077 user reviews for the past 30 days (and there are nearly 15,000 of them), they total out to "very positive," with 90% of players giving the sci-fi RPG game the thumbs up. PCGamesN Thursday, October 27, 2022 4:25 PM  Paradox's latest grand strategy game, Victoria 3, is out in the wild now, and while it's ambitious, detailed, and beautiful to look at, it does have some problems. One of those is that the American Civil War, in which the southern slave states seceded in order to preserve their rights to own slaves, is fairly easy to avoid - you don't really have to fight it at all. Paradox says this issue is one of several that it's working on for its upcoming Victoria 3 patch. Among fixes for was various bugs, the game was also updated to remove Denuvo's anti-tamper DRM from the game. Sometimes games remove their DRM after the launch window, but not normally just five days after release, making its removal from Gotham Knights a survival. Well, now Denuvo has been re-added. |

The Dragon Quest X Offline PS4, PS5, and PC demo is live now in Japan. While the Steam product page is region-locked, people PlayStation Store accounts can access the trial outside the country. This comes over a month after the RPG's debut on September 15, 2022. The demo doesn't appear to be live in the Switch Japanese eShop yet. [Thanks, Gematsu!] As with other Square Enix demos, like the one for Harvestella, people's save data from the Dragon Quest X Offline trial can be carried over to the full game. It starts at the very beginning, with the player living a peaceful life with their sibling. After Nelgel attacks, the two of you are separated. The player then gets the opportunity to be a hero after their soul is placed into an entirely new body. There's no worldwide release announcement for Dragon Quest X Offline yet or English version confirmed. It is based on the Japan-exclusive MMORPG that debuted on the Wii in 2012, before eventually also heading to other platforms like the 3DS, Switch, Wii U, PS4, PC, and mobile devices. This take on the adventure involves chibi forms of characters, as well as a new episode and new characters like Garmy and Fifi. While previous titles have been major AAA powerhouses like Marvel's Spider-Man and God of War, this is a more whimsical affair. The game is a cute 3D platformer in the vein of Super Mario 3D World and it just came to PC today. If you've never played a LittleBigPlanet game before, you may not even know who the main character here is supposed to be. So the question stands – is Sackboy: A Big Adventure worth it on PC? Or should you save your cash for something else? The game has a familiar premise. An evildoer named Vex is building a giant machine called the Topsy Turver and ends up coming to Sackboy's village to kidnap and enslave everyone. Okay, that's dark for a kids' game. Sackboy himself is able to barely escape via a rocket ship. After getting away, he meets a one-eyed woman named Scarlet who tells him the tale of the Knitted Knights – heroes to Craft... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Thursday, October 27, 2022 10:34 PM  Surprisingly, PC got two PlayStation titles on PC this month. Sackboy: A Big Adventure doesn't have the AAA pomp that the other former Sony exclusives we've received have offered, but it's still a charming, worthwhile adventure on its own merits. The game launched today and I'm once again quite pleased with the quality of the port. Unlike previous ports, this one was actually ported by its original developer, Sumo Digital, who has a long history with the platform. Aside from some very minor hitches and some surprising multiplayer caveats, this is, once again, the best way to play the game. At 1440p, my 3090 and 2600x comfortably maintained 120 fps with little issue. There are very occasional drops here and there in normal levels, with more of them in busier levels, but Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a smooth experience on PC. I did see some stuttering during cutscenes, though, which isn't all that big of a deal. The gameplay feels perfectly responsive. For ... |
