Sega predicts that its "Super Game" project will be able to deliver lifetime sales of at least 100 billion yen or about $672 million. If things go as Sega plans, then this Super Game will be on the market by March 2026. Not only does Sega believe that this game will generate an incredible profit, it also believes that it will have more active users than any Sega game to date. [Thanks, Game Developer!] According to CEO Haruki Satomi, he wants to create a game that is "so revolutionary that it attracts far more active users than any of the Group's games to date." In order to achieve this goal, he outlines online communities such as streamers. As people create and consume content outside of the game, it adds value separate from what the developers intended. This can then attract more peripheral players, which will in turn increase the game's population. In order to make enough money for this project, Sega plans on focus on global franchises like Sonic, Persona, and Total War. Satomi has also said that he wants to create "hit titles that represent Japan," and Super Game will help Sega to do so. When Sega first discussed Super Game in April 2022, the company said that it is "the development of triple-A titles that cross over Sega's comprehensive range of technologies." In April 2022, Sega said that Super Game may integrate NFT and cloud-based technology. It has not made any concrete statements as to whether or not they will be present. Scathach Skadi is set to debut in Fate/Grand Order Arcade. Like in the mobile version of the game, Scathach Skadi will be an SSR Caster. Players can expect to see her in arcades starting on November 1, 2022. She, along with Servants such as EMIYA, will be on pick-up until December 15, 2022. [Thanks, Famitsu!] You can check out Scathach Skadi as she will appear in Fate/Grand Order Arcade here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7NSNFkWPyA The video shows her summoning animation, as well as the Arcade version of Gate of Sky, her Noble Phantasm. Due to the difference in gameplay, the description for Gate of Sky is slightly different from the mobile version. In Arcade, it increases the ATK and Crit DMG of allies within an AoE for 50 seconds. It also removes the magical cost you need to evade, grants immunity to insta-death, and reduces damage for 30 seconds. Generally speaking, though, both versions offer the same buffs. In the lore of Fate/Grand Order, Scathach Skadi hails from the second Lostbelt. She is a separate person entirely from the Proper Human History version of Scathach, and her personality leans heavily into her 'queen' attribute. It is easier to refer to her as a 'Skadi with elements of Scathach' rather than 'Scathath with a lot of Skadi's traits.' Fate/Grand Order Arcade is available in arcades throughout Japan, and Scathach Skadi will debut on November 1, 2022 for a limited time. Fate/Grand Order is available on mobile devices. Sega announced that it will delist the Persona 5 Morgana DLC for the Super Monkey Ball remake, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. The information appeared on the Super Monkey Ball Japanese Twitter account. It revealed that users will have until November 3, 2022 to download the DLC if they have not already. After that, there will potentially be no other way to obtain Morgana as a guest character in the game. Other characters, like Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza series have appeared in the game, alongside characters from other notable Sega franchises. These include Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog and Jet from Jet Set Radio. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is a remake of the first two Super Monkey Ball games. It features updated graphics, and improvements made to the various mini-games that appeared in those respective entries. It also features an online leaderboard function, but does not feature online play outside of remote sharing. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is avaialble on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X & S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
