Don't let the placement of the characters on our Genshin Impact tier list deter you from pulling on the next character banner. While base stats and elemental abilities are important, the value of a character also depends on personal playstyle, available weapons and artifacts, and team composition. That being said, if your favourite character is in C tier or below, you may struggle to get past some of the more challenging Spiral Abyss floors. Don't worry too much if your favourite character is on one of the lower tiers; you can still make it work with our recommended Genshin Impact builds. In general, being on a high tier means that the character is the best Genshin Impact character in their role, is not too difficult to build, and performs well regardless of teammates. Being on a lower tier means that there are better alternatives, or the character needs a very specific build or team to shine. The nature of a Square Enix trademark has been revealed. However, the name isn't tied to a possible series it seemed to be. Square Enix announced Symbiogenesis, a new endeavor involving NFTs. It will launch in Spring 2023. Initially, the trademarked name almost seemed as though it could have shared a connection with the series Parasite Eve. Square Enix didn't offer too many details about the upcoming experience, aside from confirming NFTs will play a part. It revealed a logo and described it as a "collectible art project" with a story. Here's the official announcement, which included a brief teaser video that showed off the logo.
When the trademark first came up in October 2022, people theorized the name could be tied to the Parasite Eve series. This is because the scientific term is connected to eukaryotic cells like mitochondria, which play an important part in the Parasite Eve series' lore. This reveal does tie in with something Square Enix confirmed earlier in 2022. The company noted that it wanted to create story-focused NFTs. However, when it discussed that, Square Enix President Yosuke Matsuda mentioned it wouldn't be making Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy blockchain games "yet." Symbiogenesis will appear in Spring 2023. HBO revealed a January 15, 2023 premier date for the HBO TV series adaptation of The Last of Us. Naughty Dog shared this news via its official Twitter account, along with a poster of the show. The poster depicts Joel and Ellie in the post-apocalyptic remains of the city. Craig Mazin, who worked on Chernobyl, is the executive producer and writer, along with Neil Druckmann. Druckmann wrote for the game version of The Last of Us and Uncharted. As for people who are actually on the screen, Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) star as Joel and Ellie. The Last of Us originally came out in 2013 for the PlayStation 3. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic America, after a mutated Cordyceps fungus turns a large portion of the population into zombie-like cannibalistic creatures. Protagonist Joel is a smuggler who has to take Ellie outside of the quarantine zone. He finds out on the journey that Ellie is immune to the fungus, and may hold the secret to a cure. The game was a success, and the remade version came out in September 2022. The Last of Us will appear on HBO from January 15, 2023. Following a brief, early Amazon product page debut on November 1, 2022, a Type-Moon game is getting ready for a worldwide debut. Aniplex announced people can get the Witch on the Holy Night Switch and PS4 demo immediately. This allows people to get a start on the remaster of the English release of Mahoutsukai no Yoru: Witch on the Holy Night. The announcement also confirmed the December 8, 2022 digital debut and January 27, 2023 physical one. The Mahoutsukai no Yoru: Witch on the Holy Night Switch and PS4 demo offers a first look at Aoko Aozaki, a young woman who is also learning magecraft. Her and her teacher, Alice Kuonji, end up living alongside Sojuro Shizuki after he witnesses a strange attack. The three's paths end up intertwined as they investigate a supernatural incident. There will be three versions of the game available in English when it debuts. Two will be out on December 8, 2022. One is the standard version for $39.99, which will be available for the Switch and PS4. There will also be a PS4 Digital Deluxe Edition for $49.99. That includes the digital Magician's Basic Tune. On January 27, 2023, the $59.99 limited edition will appear. That gives people a physical copy of Magician's Basic Tune and the game in a Koyama Hirokazu-designed box. As for the early pre-orders, Aniplex addressed those on November 2, 2022. It noted that the limited edition was pulled after it mistakenly went live. Orders that did go through will be honored. Once again, Nintendo revealed it will bring back the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch bundle for Black Friday 2022. The company announced some of the deals and products it will offer for the shopping season in North America. That bundle will join a selection of sales on some games released over the last few years. The Black Friday 2022 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch bundle is the same as the one we've seen in previous years. People get a standard Nintendo Switch system with red and blue Joy-Cons. It also offers the 3-month individual subscription to the standard version of Nintendo Switch Online. A downloadable version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rounds out the assortment. This same offer was available in 2020 and 2021. The price also remains the same, as it will cost $299.99. As for the sale games, here are the titles Nintendo will offer at a discounted price.

Idea Factory International announced a Spring 2023 release of Little Witch Nobeta. It will be available both physically and digitally on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch for players in North America and Europe. It will be a 3D action shooter game with puzzle-solving elements. The story of Little Witch Nobeta follows the titular witch, Nobeta. She is an amnesiac. With the help of a little black cat, must explore a mysterious castle to uncover her missing memories. You can learn elemental magic in order to defeat enemies and Crafted Souls. In 2021, Justdan Games revealed that three VTubers from Hololive -- Shirogane Noel, Omaru Polka, and Shirakami Fubuki -- would voice some of the Crafted Souls. You can also use your magic to solve puzzles, which will help you open up more pathways in the castle or find hidden treasures. IMAX announced that it will be showing Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time at select locations. Tickets are immediately available to pre-order, with the film scheduled to appear on November 30, 2022. People will need to enter their location on the website to see if tickets for Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will be available at their local IMAX theater. The film will only be shown for a single day. In October 2022, Studio Khara announced it will release a special Evangelion 3.0+1.11 Blu-Ray and DVD set to Japanese audiences. This release will feature special bonus footage. Consumers will be able to get their hands on this set on March 8, 2023. There is no word of a potential international release. Neon Genesis Evangelion originally began its run in Japan in October 1995. The End of Evangelion appeared in 1997. Evangelion: Death (True)2, the edit of 1997's Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, appeared in 1998. The Rebuild of Evangelion films, which offer a different take on the story, began airing in Japan in 2007 with Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo appeared in 2009 and 2012 respectively. The Chant offers some surprisingly efficient game design and marries it to responsive combat that makes for an acceptably engaging adventure. However, the game isn't scary, the narrative is silly, it's quite short, and the protagonist is honestly ridiculously overpowered for this sort of game.
