For those yet to stick their snout into Supermassive's truffle-trove of horror offerings, the basic premise of these narrative adventure games can best be summarised: What if shouting at the screen to try and stop idiot characters performing horror film no-nos actually worked? The formula was both invented and, miraculously, perfected in 2015's Until Dawn. The parade of Samurai Maiden trailers starring supporting characters continues with Komimi. She's yet another ninja who will aid Tsumugi. After the young woman finds herself in the past and made the Priestess of Harmony, she needs to rely on assistance from warriors like Komimi to get by. As usual, the Samurai Maiden trailer begins with Komimi's official art. Then, it highlights the fact that this hammer-wielding warrior is also part fox. We get to see how her attacks can work. In addition to heavy hits, she can inflict ice-based damage or infuse Tsumugi's attacks with ice. She also has a bomb she can use. A bit of a story segment comes up after, showing Komimi will stick around because Tsumugi is getting stronger. Things end with the two heroines taking a selfie together. Komimi's voice actress is Miyu Tomita. She voices Genshin Impact's new character Layla, Riko from Made in Abyss, and Chuatury from Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. In case you missed it, two other characters appeared in past Samurai Maiden trailers. One looked at a ninja named Iyo. The other starred Hagane, who has a mechanical arm. Each one seems to have a different element associated with her. Iyo's ability infused Tsumugi's weapon with fire. Hagane's involved electricity. Samurai Maiden will come to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on December 1, 2022 in Japan and on December 8, 2022 worldwide. The PC version will show up on Steam worldwide on December 8, 2022. The Switch Black Friday 2022 sale is live in the European eShop and Nintendo claims it features deals on over 1,000 games. It opened up a special page dedicated to the sales event. While the same sale isn't yet live in North America, this one could be used to provide an idea of what will be reduced. Here's the list of highlighted games that are specifically mentioned as being deals during the Switch Black Friday 2022 sale in the UK. A few other notable deals are listed as well.

Nintendo Europe also mentioned the 2x Gold Point event is still in effect for people who subscribe to one of the two tiers of Nintendo Switch Online. A new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Event Quest is here, and the Gore Magala is the star. Capcom shared details about it on Twitter. People who tackle Event Quest: Roar of the Black Eclipse will be rewarded with points. Capcom noted this Event Quest is specifically designed to help prepare for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Free Title Update 3. It referenced building up the Hunter and Master Ranks to access new content. Typically, such quests can award points or do things like provide access to new items. For example, a past quest involving a Rathian and Rathalos included a monocle as a reward. There'll be another Gore Magala challenge coming to Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak soon. When Title Update 3 appears, it will introduce Chaotic Gore Magala. This is described as a version of the creature that occurs when Gora Magala is shedding to become Shagaru Magala. As a result, it features attacks from both monsters' movesets. Should someone want to face it, they'll need to be at Master Rank 10. The other monsters in that update, Risen Kushala Daora and Risen Teostra, feature higher requirements. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC.
