PCGamesN Monday, February 20, 2023 7:55 AM Dark and Darker classes, as with a lot of fantasy RPGs and MMORPGS, are crucial to your gameplay, and choosing the right one - or the wrong one - will determine your experience, so you always want to make sure you're familiar with your options before delving into the action. Given that Dark and Darker is a multiplayer game, it's even more important that you choose the right class - not just for you own gameplay, but for your team's balance. After all, you don't want a party of three clerics. Thanks to the playtests, we already know what each of the six Dark and Darker classes offers, so even though there is more than one character slot, you can still start to plan which class you might want to main when the Dark and Darker release date finally comes around. PCGamesN Monday, February 20, 2023 7:31 AM Sons of the Forest mutants are the - mostly - horrifying creatures trying to kill you in the survival horror game, as if being stranded in the wild wasn't hard enough already. It's worth mentioning that some of these mutants can be friendly, and we'll be covering those in this list too. That said, be careful who you trust. The upcoming survival game follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, The Forest, with the same cannibals and creepy mutants threatening your life after you're stranded on a strange island. However, there are a few different gruesome mutants in Sons of the Forest, including one almost entirely made up of fingers. Before you dive into Sons of the Forest multiplayer with your friends, make sure you actually live long enough to explore the large Sons of the Forest map by familiarising yourself with all of the Sons of the Forest mutants and cannibals. PCGamesN Monday, February 20, 2023 6:30 AM What are the Atomic Heart system requirements? You won't need weird dystopian tech to run the sci-fi FPS game, and its PC specs are fairly lightweight. PCGamesN Monday, February 20, 2023 5:48 AM The CSGO player count seems to know no bounds. Despite being released more than a decade ago, the landmark Valve FPS game previously set a new record for concurrent Steam users on February 11. It seemed unbeatable, but if ten years of CSGO battles have taught us anything, it's that nothing is impossible - you might be up against five people, with the bomb already ticking down, but you can still grab a victory out of the fire. Likewise, CSGO players have once again beaten their own record, with the multiplayer shooter also remaining atop the Steam chart for current users. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Monday, February 20, 2023 8:00 AM I've played a lot of strange games, but never one that lurches between greatness and bafflement as hard or as fast as Atomic Heart. It's a fascinatingly chaotic medley of ideas, and a rare FPS that lacks even the slightest whiff of battle pass-peddling live serfdom, but those ideas so often fail to gel that it can feel like a game made by several different dev teams. For a shooter set within an alternate history Soviet Union, it could perhaps have used some more central planning. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Monday, February 20, 2023 7:54 AM I see novelty games on Steam every couple of days; things like gun-wielding slime shooters, or hyper-realistic dog-walking sims. They all force a little chuckle out of me, but none of them have made me belly laugh like I Am Jesus Christ, a first-person retelling of Christ's tale from birth, to death, to rebirth. I Am Jesus Christ's genre is slightly murky, although, it almost looks like a giant Skyrim mod complete with unfeeling NPCs, first-person spellcasting, and an open world full of quest markers. The newest trailer shows some of Christ's cool abilities like walking on water, shooting light beams at Satan, and fishing - which is incidentally what I'm looking forward to the most. In fairness, the Christ sim looks like a pretty robust and thorough retelling of his journey, depicting scenes like the Last Supper, only this time all the disciples have exclamation marks above their heads. The Steam page also details 30 different miracles (or spells) and a number of different areas to explore. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Monday, February 20, 2023 6:33 AM Like all good fairytale characters, Pinocchio gets a revision every couple of years - except for 2022, when he was adapted thrice (mostly in bad films, except for the Del Toro one). The loveable puppet isn't waiting too long for his next comeback, as the RPG Soulslike Lies Of P is coming to PC and Game Pass in August. Lies Of P's newest trailer is mostly a black screen with a lot of VO, but we get a clear look at Pinocchio's daddy Master Gepetto this time. The trailer follows a blob wobbling through very Victorian streets before it slides into some automation and uses the machine's body as a puppet. The result is a boss-sized monstrosity that sits halfway between Lovecraftian horror and industrial defect. It also reminds me of Gears 5's weird infected robots, with tentacles and slime hanging off their metallic arms - equally gross and cool. The newest trailer doesn't show off any Bloodborne-style combat, but we've had plenty of looks at that already, including a fight with a gorilla robocop. This Soulslike looks just as aggressive as you'd expect, emphasising quick dodge rolls and last-minute, anxiety-fueled parries. Pinocchio's arm doubles up as a grappling hook to pull enemies in, which is always cool in a hack n' slasher, and makes even more sense when you're playing as a puppet. Also, is it just me or is Pinocchio pretty this time around? |

Siliconera Monday, February 20, 2023 7:00 AM Blizzard is almost ready to release Diablo IV. Before that, though, comes the beta test. According to an announcement from developer Blizzard Entertainment, the Diablo IV open beta is set to begin in March 2023. Players interested in seeing the game and playing a pre-release build will be able to access it during a scheduled "Open Beta and Early Access Weekend" on PC and consoles. The events are scheduled to take place from March 17 to 19, 2023, and March 24 to 26, 2023. That said, only one weekend is open to the general public. The first Diablo IV open beta weekend (on March 17-19) is exclusive to players who have pre-ordered the game. The following weekend (on March 24-26) is open to all. The test will take place on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Blizzard's post details what players will be able to access during the beta. The pre-release beta build of Diablo IV will include samples of campaign play, namely the Prologue chapter and the entirety of Act 1 of the story. This takes place in the game's first playable zone, called the Fractured Peaks. Players will be able to sample combat, questing, and dungeons freely. There is a limit on how much they'll be able to progress, though. The Diablo IV open beta level cap is set at Level 25. Players who hit that cap won't be able to level further, but they will be allowed to play until the end of the open beta period. To access the Diablo IV open beta, players will need a Battle.net account. Those with an early access code from a pre-order will be able to redeem it from this page. Upon redeeming the early access code, PC players will have their accounts flagged for access immediately. Console players will receive a storefront-specific code via the email associated with their Battle.net account. They can then redeem the code via the appropriate console storefront, like the PSN or Xbox Store.. Diablo IV is in development and will release on June 6, 2023 across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. Siliconera Monday, February 20, 2023 6:00 AM The first of the Hololive EN Myth Vtubers showed off her 3D model. This marked the much-promised beginning of reveals of their new looks. Things started on February 18, 2023, with Ina'nis Ninomae showing her 3D model on-stream. It also led to her "Holo no Graffiti" debut. The stream relay will continue with each member leading up to all five members appearing at once for a collab stream on March 4, 2023. Here's the Ina'nis Ninomae 3D Showcase. Things kicked off by showing her 3D model and environment. She showed how she's able to pick up items and showed her tentacles. Kiara Takanashi also showed up at the nine minute mark to request poses. This was followed by Amelia Watson, Calliope Mori, and Gawr Gura also showing up. She did some drawing with her new brush and easel at the 21 minute mark. This marked a "summoning sequence" that involved other Hololive Vtubers showing up with their 3D models. Mel Yozora, Lamy Yukihana, and Watame Tsunomaki came up then. After the 40 minute mark, she started performing songs in 3D, with one of them being the Fire Emblem Awakening theme "if ~one's thoughts~." This is a tweet from 3D modeler Rei Amagai, who created this Hololive EN Myth 3D model, showing it off.
Next, here is Ina'nis Ninomae's "Eat or Be EaTentacle" Hologra debut. English subtitles are available if you turn on closed captions and select English as the language. The post See the Hololive EN Myth Ina'nis Ninomae 3D Model appeared first on Siliconera. |
