Destiny 2 Nightfall weapons – what is the Nightfall weapon this week?

Want to know what this week's Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon is? Each week you've got a chance at a different weapon for completing Nightfall Strikes, and ever since Season of the Lost, fan-favourite legacy weapons from the original Destiny has been added to the rotation. New seasons often introduce new weapons into the rotation, so it's more important than ever to know in advance the Nightfall weapon schedule.

Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu, alongside the basic Strike playlist in the free PC game. Each week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall, and offered in five escalating difficulties, with harder enemies, challenging modifiers, and enemy power levels cranking up. The coveted Nightfall weapons have a chance to drop from any Nightfall Strike difficulty, but it's far more likely at higher levels, which is something you'll want to maximise your chances for with the Destiny 2 Lightfall release date that just passed. Your best bet for farming each week's Nightfall weapon is to set the Strike to Master difficulty, or to Grandmaster difficulty when such strikes are available if you have a fireteam up to the task.

If you're looking for the Redfall release date, we have all the information you need. The co-op vampire shooter comes from developers Arkane, best known for building rich, very deliberate worlds, and weaving intricate stories around their fascinating creations. This time, instead of a space station, or the clockwork city of Dunwall, they've focused on a small tourist town in the eastern US.

There are vampires, sure. A sniper with an undead eye? Check. They even have a cryptozoologist, because why not. The cast of Redfall characters is varied enough, but how will this co-op game fare when compared to Arkane's other creations? Many have likened Redfall to co-op shooters like Left 4 Dead, although it's allegedly going to be more like Far Cry than the aforementioned zombie shooter. Whatever happens, Redfall is shaping up to be one of the best PC games this year, here's what we know about its release date, all the trailers, gameplay, and more.

The best open-world games on PC 2023

Looking for the best open-world games on PC? From the early days of gaming, with Ultima and Lords of Midnight, open-world games have always been right at home on PC - indeed, those pesky consoles often couldn't handle it. Compare the ambitious early version of Halo to the final, more confined result, for example - and only the PC could hold sprawling regions in the very first Elder Scrolls games. Nevertheless, the leap into full 3D with Grand Theft Auto 3 and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind really brought the idea of open-world gaming to the masses.

These days, open-world games are their own genre separate from single-player MMOs. You can find accurate depictions of real-life cities or countries, huge fictional expanses with their own landmarks, complete worlds to check out - or even entire galaxies, depending on where you want to go on your next adventure. Not only are these the best open-world games, but a lot of them show up in our best PC games list, too.

yuki yuna bouquet brilliance header

A teaser site for Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Bouquet of Brilliance (or YuYuYui) has gone live. This is a PS4 and Nintendo Switch version of the mobage of the same name, which ended service in 2022. Aside from all of the content that had been on the mobile game, the console version of Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Bouquet of Brilliance will have some new scenarios and illustrations. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Bouquet of Brilliance closed down on October 28, 2022 after around five years and a half of service. In that amount of time, it has accumulated so much content that to pen it all down on paper would fill up over thirty light novel volumes. All of that content will be available in the console version of Bouquet of Brilliance, along with some new stories. There will be eight chapters in total, with both stories original to the game and from the source. It will be fully voiced as well.

There will be a total of 31 characters. Each character has their own unique ability and element. Combat in the game is very similar to tower defense, since you have to prevent Vertexes from reaching a Shinju. In order to do so, you can move your heroes around on the field. You'll have to think about your characters' elements, abilities, and attack ranges in order to come up with the optimal strategies.

The console port of Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Bouquet of Brilliance will come out for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan. More information on its release date will appear in the near future.

Wii U eShop Games to Buy Before It's Too Late

The Wii U eShop is about to meet its end and shut down soon, just like the Nintendo 3DS eShop, with it closing on March 27, 2023 and cutting off access to buy games. This is something of a tricky situation for folks! Some notable games are honestly cheaper physically, such as Star Fox Zero and Guard. A lot of other "must-haves" went from exclusives to… not, like Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE and Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. Still, there are some major and notable games worth getting and playing, and these are our recommendations.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

As you'd expect from an HD remaster, it looks better. Nintendo adjusted the lighting, it runs in 1080p, and features 30fps. However, it also involved the company making adjustments to fine-tune it. There's a new control scheme, as you might expect from the GamePad. There are fewer Tears of Light to hunt down, you immediately get access to Hero Mode, you can use amiibo to get extra items or unlock the Cave of Shadows dungeon, and there are Miiverse stamps… oh. Oh right, Miiverse is dead.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD

So, this is an HD remaster of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker! It's as comprehensive and enjoyable as ever. In addition to being a 1080p version of the game with better lighting, there are also new UI elements involving the GamePad, the ability to use motion controls with the GamePad gyroscope, and gameplay adjustments like faster travel with the Swift Sail. It also featured Miiverse compatibility, but… that's gone now.

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a fantastic game that focuses a bit more on exploration than storytelling than Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3, though keep in mind there's still an interesting tale and fascinating lore here. As part of an Earthlife Colonization Project, countries sent out ark spaceships to try and escape the war and find a new home. The American's White Whale is shot down and crash lands on the planet Mira. Players are one of the humans who was in stasis on board and, upon being awoken, joins Elma, Lin, and Gwin as BLADE members in New Los Angeles trying to help recover after the crash, find more people and remnants, and deal with things to come.

The Overlooked Wii U eShop Gems

Affordable Space Adventures

Affordable Space Adventures is one of the rare examples of a Wii U eShop exclusive from a third-party that will be lost forever upon Nintendo closing things up. It is a puzzle game you go through alone or with friends as you attempt to get the Small Craft spaceship you took your "vacation" on off of a planet after being stranded. It's especially good with other people!

Dr. Luigi

Nintendo named 2013 The Year of Luigi, and Dr. Luigi was one of the results of that! It's Dr. Mario, only with L-shaped pills in some of its four modes. Though some of the other modes are identical to past games. It's a Wii U eShop exclusive that will be gone forever after the storefront's closing, so it's something you may want to get for posterity.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, like Kirby: Canvas Curse before it, involves indirectly controlling Kirby. You draw lines, in this case on the GamePad, to get him through levels. You can get it physically, but if you're having trouble finding a disc and want a fun platformer spin-off, this is worth grabbing. It can feel more like a puzzle game at times, what with being limited by available ink.

NES Remix and NES Remix 2

NES Remix and NES Remix 2 are both fantastic, bite-sized minigame collections on the Wii U eShop featuring NES games. The first featured challenges from games like Balloon Fight, Donkey Kong, Excitebike, Super Mario Bros, and The Legend of Zelda. The sequel brought in even more games, like Dr. Mario, Kid Icarus, Kirby's Adventure, Metroid, Punch-Out, Super Mario Bros 3 and Zelda II. You can get them on a disc as the NES Remix Pack, but if you're having trouble finding that or already own one and just want the other, grab them now!

Pokemon Rumble U

Remember Pokemon Rumble games? It's been a while since Pokemon Rumble Rush in 2019, and that was a mobile game anyways, so you're forgiven if you don't! The Wii U entry was the amiibo game before amiibo even existed, as you would use NFC figures to play if you wanted. Rather than Pokemon, you fight with and against Toy Pokemon. It's an action game, and up to four people can also face off. As in typical Pokemon games, you can befriend and find new allies by defeating them in battle. It's not the best installment, but we shouldn't forget this Wii U eShop exclusive before the store's closing.

What do you think are the best Wii U eShop games? What other gems did we miss? Let us know in the comments.

People won't get to start a new life in the next Story of Seasons game until June 2023. However, XSEED shared an additional trailer before then to help people prepare. There's a new Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life trailer, as well as a picture of the Mukumuku yeti costume people can get for pre-ordering or buying a copy at launch.

Mukumuku should be a familiar face to returning Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life players, as the yeti showed up in the GameCube and PS2 versions of the game. People can meet the legendary creature by heading to the Goddess Pond in winter. If someone buys the game before July 5, 2023, they get the outfit for their avatar. The promotional image shows it on both a male and female avatar.
See the New Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Trailer and Mukumuku Costume

As for the Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life gameplay trailer, it focuses on actions on the farm in Forgotten Valley. We first see the town in spring, with the player character tending to some crops. After that, we get to see the avatar caring for a cow. From there, the video shows some of the townsfolk and sprites people will interact with.

At the 30 second mark, it shows how gameplay changes when the seasons change. From there, it looks at what summer, fall, and winter is like around the town.

Final Fantasy XVI Torgal

Square Enix released a new Final Fantasy XVI gameplay video through the official Japanese Twitter account introducing Torgal. Torgal is a wolf that Clive and his brother Joshua adopted as a cub when they were kids. He is Clive's loyal partner, and he can stand his ground in combat, proving a useful ally that can attack, extend combos, launch enemies, or even heal Clive.

You can check out Torgal in action here:

https://twitter.com/FF16_JP/status/1638118250134511617

Torgal is a special AI party member called a "Buddy." He acts different from other party members that Clive will encounter, as he can receive a few set commands. These commands are Sic, Heal, and Ravage. Torgal will attack by biting the enemy when commanding him to Sic. Meanwhile, using Ravage can lead to a launcher for an extended air combo.

When combining these commands with Clive's abilities, special combinations can be activated. As seen in the video, Clive launches a Fira spell and immediately after uses the Sic command. This makes Torgal lunge forward and perform a spinning aerial attack. After Clive follows-up by launching the enemy into the ground, he commands Torgal to Ravage, which leads to him performing a combo finisher and eliminating the enemy.

The particular combinations that appear on screen during this Final Fantasy XVI gameplay video are "Precision Sic" and "Punishing Sic." Their activation is indicated by a sound stinger and Torgal's icon in the bottom left of the UI lighting up.

Final Fantasy XVI is in development for the PlayStation 5, and it will launch first for PS5 on June 22, 2023. After an exclusivity period of six months, the game could release on other platforms.

If you're having trouble finding the campfire near Aemoon in Tchia so you can advance the story, here's where to rest your head.

Tchia is a freeform sort of open-world game, which means it can sometimes be difficult to find where you're supposed to go next. For example, after heading to the city in chapter two, you'll be told to go to the campfire to rest after trying to meet Meavora. In case you're having trouble finding it, here's where the campfire near Aemoon is in Tchia.

The campfire you want to use in Tchia is on the shoreline southeast of Aemoon, nearly outside of the city. Head directly south from the secretary and office, until you hit the park. Then, turn left and head straight ahead, as though you're going toward Xupi Macii on the map. Walk south along the shoreline and you'll happen upon the campfire.
How to Find the Campfire Near Aemoon in Tchia

As a reminder, while at a campfire in Tchia a player can do multiple things. Someone can change her outfit. This involves her clothing, hairstyle face paint, and accessories. They can play her ukelele. You can sleep to advance time. It is also possible to eat to restore Tchia's strength.

After resting at the campfire near Aemoon, you'll learn about the Soul Throw mechanic, the story will advance, and the game will automatically send you toward Tchia's next destination.

Tchia is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. It is also on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.

Genshin Impact Mika Gameplay Showcased in New Video

HoYoVerse releases a Collected Miscellany gameplay video for each new Genshin Impact character, and Mika is the latest entry. The new Cryo four-star is permanently joining the cast with the Ayaka and Shenhe banners on March 21, 2023. Now Dainsleif returns to narrate a guide showing exactly what the polearm user is capable of.

The trailer begins with a brief introduction explaining how the Knights of Favonius benefits from having a navigator and mapmaker like Mika around. There's also a brief dig at Klee and her destructive tendencies. It also notes that his Utility Passive ties into that by marking Mondstadt resources on the map with Demarcation.

After that, the Genshin Impact Mika Collected Miscellany focuses on gameplay. It shows how his normal attacks rely on both his spear and the crossbow he carries. His charged attack is a lunging one. His Elemental Skill is Starfrost Swirl, which deals Cryo damage and also boosts everyone's attack speed briefly. The Elemental Burst is Skyfeather Song, which regenerates health for allies based on Mika's max health.

As a reminder, Mika is a focus unit on the Ayaka and Shenhe banner in Genshin Impact until April 11, 2023. After that, he'll join the general pool of characters and be available at all times.

How to Learn and Play a Soul Melody in Tchia

In chapter two of Tchia, players will learn about the Soul Melody feature after taking part in the Rock Balancing minigame with Tre. However, the game doesn't teach you how to access her ukulele or begin playing instruments. It isn't like you can open her backpack and select the instrument. So you don't need to check menus, here's how it works.

When standing around, press right on the controller's directional pad. This will bring up the Soul Melody feature in Tchia, as well as show you the ones you learned so far. Taking part in that first minigame with Tre will net you four songs of the 14 Tchia can eventually learn. You'll pick up Time: Dawn, Time: Noon, Time: Dusk, and Time: Midnight.

The first Soul Melody you'll need to play in Tchia is Time: Midnight. The earlier rhythm minigame introduced you how playing a ukulele works. Hold the left analog stick in the direction of the correct note, then press X on your controller to play it. To play Time: Midnight, you will need to hit B, E, E, D.

Tchia is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. It is also on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.

k manga

Kodansha will launch a US-exclusive manga distribution called K Manga in May 2023. K Manga users will be able to have early exclusive access to new chapters, as well as read manga from the company's current catalog. The official launch date of the app will be May 10, 2023. As for the website launch, more information on that date will appear later.

There will be a total of four hundred titles available when K Manga launches. 70 of these titles will be ongoing ones. It will be a paid service, but users will be able to read certain manga series for free. There is a limit on how much you can read per day, though. Some manga series that will be readily available on the service include BLUELOCK, Rent-A-Girlfriend, The Seven Deadly Sin: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, and Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro.

Since this is Kodansha's official app, it will obviously use the official Kodansha translations. It appears that it will be an in-house project as well. Kodansha's editorial team, which is also in charge of editing and producing the manga series the company has licensed, is the one that will manage K Manga.

The K Manga app will launch on May 10, 2023.
