A load of enemies were instantly enveloped in its hot sea of death, as intended, but one of our heroes - the tank-like bruiser Fedir - also ended up getting burned by mistake. As an ex-mob enforcer, he's certainly built to take a few punches, and his abilities are all focused on making him the centre of attention, his attacks growing more powerful as his rage levels continue to grow. "You want him to get attacked," game director Chris Rogers tells me, calling on the phrase 'you wouldn't like him when he's angry' as the basis for Fedir's ability set. But with that extra fire damage he receives, it's just a little too much all at once. He gets knocked down, and the tide of battle quickly goes south. In truth, I played no part in this downfall. Rogers was in the control cockpit for this one, showing me exactly how Harebrained Schemes' latest game actually works. It's quite a different proposition from their last game, Battletech, and in this quite literal trial by fire, studio head and co-founder Mitch Gitelman actually pulled a dollar out of his pocket at one point and put a bet on whether Rogers would make it out alive. He certainly had his work cut out for him. Rogers won that dollar, and here's how the game's emphasis on deep, customisable character builds set him up for success. |

Good Smile Company opened up pre-orders for a figma figure of Mori Calliope from Hololive. As a figma figure, there are joints in her arms and legs so that you can pose her if you wish. Pre-orders will close on May 11, 2023. She'll cost 11,000 JPY and come out in November 2023 for Japanese customers. Those in North America will have to pay $77.99 and she'll come out in Q1 2024. The Mori Calliope figma is not only posable but you'll be able to customize her quite a bit. She's going to come with three face plates—a smiling face, a winking face, and a funny face. As well, there are optional parts that you can give her or place around her. The optional parts are her scythe, a microphone, a miniature figure of Death-sensei, and a pair of sunglasses. Autumn Games announced that the final official release date for the Black Dahlia DLC character in Skullgirls 2nd Encore will be very soon. She'll come out on March 29, 2023 for the PC and PS4 versions of the game. As for those on the Nintendo Switch, they'll be able to download her on March 31, 2023. Development on Black Dahlia started in 2022, with early builds of her character appearing at events and as DLC. Her alpha trailer showed that she can use bullets as part of her combos, though they do not seem to have much range or zoning capabilities. Black Dahlia can also run out of these bullets, which require her to reload. You can watch the alpha trailer for Black Dahlia here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wkp82DqgbSo&t Black Dahlia draws inspiration from the real-life unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short, or "Black Dahlia" as she was posthumously called. In terms of the lore, Black Dahlia is a member of the Medici Mafia. She previously showed up in Peacock and Squigly's stories. Bushiroad revealed some more information on the genre and main characters of Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast. This will be the game adaptation of the light novel and anime series Goblin Slayer. The original writer and character designer for the series will work on the game. [Thanks, Famitsu!] In terms of the genre, Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast will be a TRPG (tactical RPG) in a similar vein to Fire Emblem. You will have to take care of where your units and enemy units are when coming up with your strategies. As well, the game will have its own original story. Aside from game-original characters, five characters (Goblin Slayer, Priestess, High Elf Archer, Lizard Priest, and Dwarf Shaman) will make their appearances in Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Priest. Their voice actors from the show will reprise their roles. Here are the original characters and cast that will be in the game:

It is unclear what "Persona II" is and how it's different from normal Personae. Soejima, who designed the characters for the original Persona 5 games, is the designer for this one as well. Persona 5: The Phantom X appears to be a mobile spin-off of Persona 5, featuring a new cast and development studio. Old V, who is the producer of the game, stated that Perfect World created P5X in order to bring the charm of Persona 5 to more players through a mobile platform.
