LoL tier list 13.6 – the best League of Legends champions 2023

Metas change, the LoL tier list will fluctuate, and your favourite champion might not be in a great place right now. While you can absolutely win games and climb the ranked ladder with nearly anyone in the lower ELOs, the changes that come via champion and item balancing can tip the scales enough that some picks are almost mandatory.

We've put together a few picks for each lane that have become especially overpowered recently in League of Legends. Whether it's due to a buff, kit change, or item change, these are safe picks if you're looking to climb the ranks in the free PC game. If you do want to play something else, keep every one of these champions in our LoL tier list in mind for your ban, as they all have the potential to go on and dominate Summoner's Rift in one of the best MOBAs you can play right now.

FIFA 23 ratings – the top 100 players

The FIFA 23 player ratings will make sad reading for fans of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo - both are on the decline after their moves to PSG and Man Utd, respectively. FIFA 23 will mark the first year in a long time that they don't top the rankings of high-rated players, with Kylian Mbappe's reign just beginning.

Karim Benzema had an absolute barnstormer in the 21/22 football season and deservedly takes the top spot. The '91 club' is shared by a mix of youth and experience, something that will no doubt become more evident as the season goes on and the breakout performers get in-forms. It's worth noting that this list of the top 100 players doesn't include FIFA 23 Icons or FUT Heroes, some of which completely eclipse the ratings of these gold players.      The best open-world games on PC 2023

Looking for the best open-world games on PC? From the early days of gaming, with Ultima and Lords of Midnight, open-world games have always been right at home on PC - indeed, those pesky consoles often couldn't handle it. Compare the ambitious early version of Halo to the final, more confined result, for example - and only the PC could hold sprawling regions in the very first Elder Scrolls games. Nevertheless, the leap into full 3D with Grand Theft Auto 3 and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind really brought the idea of open-world gaming to the masses.

These days, open-world games are their own genre separate from single-player MMOs. You can find accurate depictions of real-life cities or countries, huge fictional expanses with their own landmarks, complete worlds to check out - or even entire galaxies, depending on where you want to go on your next adventure. Not only are these the best open-world games, but a lot of them show up in our best PC games list, too.

Are you looking for Destiny 2 Legendary Lost Sector locations in Destiny 2? Before you can take on Legend Lost Sectors, you need to complete all the normal Lost Sectors first. If you don't, the new Legend Lost Sectors will not appear on the map. Each day, the location, modifiers, and rewards rotate out for something new.

While many Exotics can be bought from Xûr or even in the world loot pool, the Destiny 2 Exotics in these special Lost Sector instances cannot, forcing players to explore these dangerous areas if they want the best equipment available. It's important to remember that exotic drops are not guaranteed after completing these quests, so you may have to run through the same Lost Sector multiple times. You can go through the quests in the free PC game with a fireteam, but your rewards will be reduced to Enhancement Cores only.

The best tower defense games on PC 2023

Looking for the best tower defense games on PC? For a time, the humble tower defense was one of the most popular genres out there. They may appear to be simple strategy games for more casual players, but fans would call them accessible tactical titles that require sharp reflexes, a sharper mind, and quick improvisation. The approachability of tower defense games stems from how deceptively straightforward they are - at least to begin with.

A horde of enemies comes from specific directions across a small arena, and the player has to improvise a set of appropriate defenses - using scant resources - to deal with them. Enemies become tougher and more numerous as the game progresses, but the player gets access to better equipment to deal with them too. While the genre often veers towards smartphone and tablet gaming, there are still many fantastic tower defense games on PC right now, with many of them actually being free PC games. Here's the best of the best.

Minecraft mobs are the living entities in Minecraft - short for mobile, these sometimes adorable, sometimes aggressive creatures roam the many biomes of the blocky universe. They will interact and respond to you, other players, and other mobs, whether that's a zombie literally knocking at your door, or the chickens in your backyard coop.

There are many aspects that make Minecraft one of the best PC games of all time, and its creatures definitely help - be them mythical or real, hostile or friendly. Minecraft mobs are susceptible to the same physics and environmental changes that affect players, such as catching fire or drowning. They can be attacked and killed with weapons, and when killed, they drop resources and experience points, with hostile mobs dropping rarer items on occasion. So, while you can add other mobs with various Minecraft mods, here's every Minecraft mob available in the vanilla game right now - and announced for the future.

Best Warzone 2 marksman rifle for Season 2 Reloaded

Want to know the best Warzone 2 marksman rifle? While their usefulness in Modern Warfare 2 is somewhat limited by map size, marksman rifles are a lot more lethal in battle royale as it offers a far larger island to scope out targets from a distance.

The marksman rifle category can't keep up with the best Warzone 2 sniper rifles in terms of stopping power, but the SPR-208 is the closest you're going to come. It offers a much faster rate of fire than most sniper rifles, and because a one-shot down isn't possible in the free PC game, the additional mobility and speed will serve you well. Alt.Ctrl.GDC is a regular fixture at the Game Developers Conference, and this year I spotted some properly incredible creations from its largely student-led group of exhibitors. There was a big focus on co-op games and time trial demos in this year's cohort, with nearly every stand having some sort of whiteboard pinned up that was constantly being scrubbed out with new fastest lap times and corresponding visitor names. There was also lots of friendly hooting emanating from them as well, as mates and strangers attempted to co-ordinate their gaggles of limbs to steer various game characters in the right direction.

It was excellent fun, and I sampled a bunch of games that used toasters, intricate pulley systems, papier-mache tree stumps, bike wheels and more in place of your typical controllers and mice and keyboard. There were also plenty more I didn't get to try out, mainly due to time, and you can see the full list over on GDC's website. For now, though, here are some personal highlights of what I saw, including the largest bowler hat I think I've ever seen in my life.

It's a Pokémon-like where you'll still be beating up wildlife creatures in turn-based combat, but rather than capturing them, you record their likeness on the titular tapes and then transform into those same street cone-wearing crabs and metal-clad wolves. It looks like an energetic, nostalgic romp, and it's coming to PC and Game Pass on April 26th.

There's always been something quaintly practical about the name Command & Conquer. Sure, there's a touch of Julius Caesar's 'veni, vidi, vici' in there. But less romantically, the title evokes Internet Explorer or Acrobat Reader - sitting comfortably alongside the clearly and sensibly labelled Windows software of the mid-90s. It's a reminder of just how early Westwood happened upon the blueprint for real-time strategy, right as many PC users were buying their first trackball mice.

Back then, the developer was fresh from Dune II, its unlikely David Lynch adaptation and progenitor of the RTS genre as we know it today. Inspired by the house politics and struggle for resources that consumed the desert planet Arrakis, Westwood had come up with an addictive formula for harvesting spice and converting that wealth into military power, which in turn could be used in the battle to secure more spice. The team was, quite frankly, surprised by how much fun that formula had turned out to be.

Nijisanji English Vtuber Auditions April

Nijisanji English again opened auditions for a future wave of its VTubers. You have until April 17, 2023 to submit your application. There are some basic requirements to consider if you want to apply, notably related to age and streaming experience. However, auditions are open to everyone regardless of gender.

According to Nijisanji English's official site, applicants must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English to be considered for a role as a Vtuber. Candidates also must be able to stream and create content three times per week for at least 12 months if accepted after applying. Furthermore, unlike previous occasions, having experience with streaming is a must.

You must fill out the application form at the official site if you want to apply. Also, you have to submit a five-minute video introducing yourself in character. You don't need to show your face, so you can use an image or an existing model as you see fit. After this step, a second and third rounds of call and video interviews will take place. Nijisanji stated that shortlisted applicants will be contacted within one month after closing applications.

The last wave to join Nijisanji English was seventh-generation XSoleil. It originally consisted of Doppio Dropscythe, Zaion LanZa, Meloco Kyoran, Hex Haywire, Kotoka Torahime, and Ver Vermillion. However, Zaion LanZa is no longer part of the group as Nijisanji terminated her contract on March 10, 2023 due to multiple infringements.

Nijisanji English auditions are immediately open to applicants and will close on April 17, 2023.

Here's How Much Anime Expo Shin Megami Tensei Concert Tickets Cost

Atlus offered another update on its Anime Expo 2023 Shin Megami Tensei 30th Live: Band of Shadows Concert on July 1, 2023, with ticket prices confirmed. There will be four options available, and people can immediately buy them from Showclix. Sega Atlus subscribers were able to take advantage of a pre-sale period from March 27-29, 2023. However, it is important to note that people must also be Anime Expo attendees if they want to buy a ticket and attend.

The cheapest Anime Expo 2023 Shin Megami Tensei 30th Live: Band of Shadows Concert ticket is $50. That gets you access to the general admission balcony. For $70, you can get a floor "seat," as that gets you a GA Floor standing spot. The VIP Balcony seats are at $85. The most expensive ticket is a standing spot in the VIP Pit for $95.

As a reminder, since this is for attendees, there is an additional cost on top of the ticket prices. Someone will need to get a pass to the convention as well. A one-day Saturday or Sunday ticket for July 1, 2023 or July 2, 2023 is $80. A four-day pass is $165. This means the minimum cost could be $130, and it could be up to $260 if people go with a four-day pass and VIP Pit tickets.

The Anime Expo 2023 Shin Megami Tensei 30th Live: Band of Shadows Concert will be held on July 1, 2023. Doors will open at 6:30pm PT ahead of the 8pm performance. Anime Expo will run July 1-4, 2023 in Los Angeles, California at the LA Convention Center.

Meet Your Maker is an entirely new game launching on the day it debuts on PlayStation Plus. Those who don't subscribe would need to pay $29.99 for it. It is a first-person game you can play alone or cooperatively as you build up your Outpost maze to stop other players who invade it, while preparing yourself to head into the Outposts others designed.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the latest platformer starring the Sony mascot. It can be played alone or in co-op with another person. It first launched in November 2020 and normally costs $59.99.

Forspoken In Tanta We Trust DLC Arrives in May

People will learn more about Forspoken's characters and world in the In Tanta We Trust DLC in about two months. Square Enix offered a release date for the add-on. It will debut on May 26, 2023. It also explained how the DLC's story will go. Frey will still star in it, but this will be a prequel.

While the announcement didn't note if the Forspoken DLC begins after the ending or during Frey's adventure, it did establish that Frey will be going back in time. While she still exists, she'll go 25 years into the past to the Purge of the Rheddig. She and Tanta Cinta will use their powers to deal with the Break. However, given the nature of the game, this could mean that there will be significant spoilers if someone hasn't already finished Frey's story.

This means that the add-on will launch after Luminous Productions is absorbed into Square Enix. At the end of February 2023, Square Enix announced the merger. That is set to happen on May 1, 2023. When it was announced, Luminous confirmed its efforts ahead of then would be focused on Forspoken patches and the add-on.

Forspoken is available on the PS5 and PC, and the In Tanta We Trust DLC arrives May 26, 2023.

Watch Cammy and Manon Fight in Street Fighter 6

Capcom released the next entry in what is basically its unofficial series of Street Fighter 6 developer match videos. This time, the footage shows how an older fighter fares against a newer one. The latest Street Fighter 6 bout involves Cammy taking the stage alongside Manon. It takes place at the King Street Stage tied to Cammy.

As is common with these fights, one character gets to "win" the first, and the other comes out on top in the second. The goal is to sort of show off certain people's normal attacks initially. Then in the third round of this Street Fighter 6 match between Cammy and Manon, we get to see finishing moves.

In case you missed it, another one of these fights appeared last week. Earlier in March 2023, Capcom showed off Lily and E. Honda. Both that fight and the one prior to it with Zangief and Marisa featured veterans against characters new to the series.

Street Fighter 6 will appear on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on June 2, 2023. It will appear in arcades after launch. People taking part in Evo 2023 will be able to play it, as it is one of the featured games this year.

ffvii remake whispers

In a Twitter post, Square Enix answered the question of why Cloud was unable to see the Whispers in FFVII Remake until Aerith grabbed onto him. Whispers are wraith-like enemies in the game that appear in both cutscenes and as enemies Cloud can fight.

The reason that Cloud was able to see the Whispers was because he touched the ones that were trying to attack Aerith in FFVII Remake. It is not because of his contact with Aerith herself. Touching a Whisper that's touching Aerith will not allow you to see them. Cloud could see them because the Whispers deemed him as someone who can manipulate the fate of the planet.

These are the same reasons why Barret could see them. He is also someone who can influence the planet's destiny, and he touched a Whisper that was observing Cloud. Rufus also came into contact with a Whisper while he was fighting Cloud.

Whispers are an enemy exclusive to the remake of FFVII. They seem to appear whenever events start to veer off the course of destiny. Aerith appears to have a deep connection with the Whispers, though Square Enix has not confirmed anything as of yet.

Since the release of the game, Square Enix often posted Tweets like this that explain the grander lore or little bits of trivia about the game. It has also shared concept art of characters, people, and things that make up the world of Midgar. For example, it previously discussed some behind-the-scenes details about Barret's development from the original Final Fantasy VII.

FFVII Remake is readily available on the PS4, PS5, and Windows PC.

fire emblem engage marni

Nintendo released information on Marni, or Madeline, as she will appear in the Fell Xenologue DLC for Fire Emblem Engage. This is a parallel version of Marni from the base game. Instead of being an enemy and one of the Four Hounds, she is Alear's ally and one of the Four Winds.

Marni's starting class will be a General. Though she has poor Speed, she more than makes up for it with her Defense and Attack stats. Like other Heavy Armor classes in the game, though, she will likely have fairly low Magic Defense. That means that she will have to stay away from mages.

https://twitter.com/FireEmblemJP/status/1640970519389548544

Ruriko Aoki will reprise her role as Marni. Aside from voicing Marni in Fire Emblem Engage, Aoki also previously appeared as Riina Tada in The Idolmaster CInderella Girls and Touko Aozaki in Witch on the Holy Night. In the short clip that the Fire Emblem Twitter uploaded, she talks in a very polite and modest manner.

https://twitter.com/FireEmblemJP/status/1640969892626300935

The Fell Xenologue DLC will be part of Wave 4 of Fire Emblem Engage's Expansion Pass. You will be able to use Lady Nel and Nil, along with other members of the Four Winds. The game will also set up restrictions on your characters' starting classes and levels, essentially meaning that you will not be able to use the army that you've raised throughout the game in this DLC.

Fire Emblem Engage is readily available for the Nintendo Switch. The Fell Xenologue DLC will launch on April 5, 2023.

3DS and Wii U eShop Game Download Codes Can Be Redeemed Until April

People who still have 3DS and Wii U eShop download codes for things like games have a few more days to use them. Nintendo announced an extension for using them, despite closing the eShop on March 27, 2023. People in North America and Europe have until April 3, 2023. The cut-off date in Japan is April 4, 2023.

This is something of an apology. On March 27, 2023, Nintendo ended up cutting off the ability to redeem 3DS and Wii U eShop download codes for things like games and videos early. As a result, it offered an additional week to make up for it.

As a reminder, Nintendo decided to close both of these storefronts in February 2022. At the time, it suggested it was "part of the natural lifecycle." While people won't be able to buy games or demos, they can get games they already own, update them, and pick up some free 3DS themes.

The shutdown means that a number of 3DS and Wii U exclusive titles are now permanently unavailable unless someone had a code for them they didn't redeem. On the 3DS, this includes games like HarmoKnight and Level-5 Guild titles like Attack of the Friday Monsters: A Tokyo Tale. It means Wii U owners lose access to exclusives like Affordable Space Adventures and Pokemon Rumble U.

People can still redeem download codes in the 3DS and Wii U eShop storefronts until April 3, 2023 in North America and Europe and April 4, 2023 in Japan.

Kadokawa opened up pre-orders for a figure of Nero from Fate/Grand Order in her Silk of Venus garb. You can pre-order her from the Kadokawa Store or AmiAmi until May 21, 2023. She will ship out in January 2024, and you will be able to purchase her for 24,800 JPY. That would be around $189.40. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

You'll be able to swap Nero's expression between a blank one and a smiling one. A much bigger and innocent smile appears on the bonus face plate you can get for pre-ordering. The Venus's Silk Nero figure has a sheer plastic in the slit of her dress and you can see her leg through it. She's holding a rose in her left hand and a golden wine chalice in her right, and the sculptor recreated the ripples in the silks.

Here are some more pictures of the Fate/Grand Order Silk of Venus Nero figure:

Wada Arco, the character designer for Nero, was the one who created the Costume Dress. Players received it as part of the 5th anniversary of Fate/Grand Order. This is the second outfit that you can get for Nero Claudius in the game. Her first one was Olympian Bloomers for the Nero Festival. Her second one was Barbaric Tyrant's Rhapsodia for the Grail Live event.

Bandai Namco revealed what will be available when the network test for Blue Protocol goes live in Japan on March 31, 2023. It showed off the information during an official stream, which was around an hour and a half long. Players will be able to experience the early parts of the story, as well as raise their character to level 20. [Thanks, Gamer!]

Only Chapter 1 will be in the Blue Protocol network test, with certain side quests being adjusted specifically for this test. You'll only be able to raise your character level to 20, as mentioned earlier, and the maximum adventurer rank you can have will be 4. Only four map locations will be accessible.

Players will also get the opportunity to try out the Heavy Smasher class. Heavy Smasher will be a close-to-mid-range fighter. Other classes include Twin Striker, Aegis Fighter, and Blast Archer. These classes are very similar to what you would imagine in an RPG. For example, Blast Archer specializes in supporting from a distance with arrows and magic.

During the network test on April 1-2, 2023, you'll be able to receive some items in the mail. They seem to be various dyes for your character. You'll also be able to transfer the character that you make from the benchmark program into the game. To do this, you export the character file from the benchmark folder and then import it once you're in the game.

The Blue Protocol network test will take place from March 31, 2023 to April 2, 2023 in Japan. Blue Protocol is in development for the PS5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. See Ling Xiaoyu Fight Nina Williams in Tekken 8

Another familiar face is joining the latest Tekken game. Bandai Namco's newest character trailer for Tekken 8 reintroduces Ling Xiaoyu. It mainly has her fight Nina Williams in the first half. However, for the second half she uses her martial arts against King.

Xiaoyu is a Tekken staple. She and her pet Panda, who is also a playable character in most entries, both debuted in Tekken 3. In addition to being a recurring fighter in the mainline games, she's also appeared in many spin-offs like Street Fighter x Tekken, Tekken Card Challenge, and Tekken Tag Tournament.

Here is the Ling Xiaoyu Tekken 8 trailer. It refers to her as the "Dancing Phoenix." We get to see more of her special moves when she's up against King.

Tekken 8 is still in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam. There's no release date yet. There will be a closed alpha test for Tekken 8 at Evo Japan 2023 between March 31, 2023 and April 2, 2023.

among us horse

For yet another year, the "cursed" Horse Mode will appear in Among Us for April Fools 2023. You'll be able to gallop your way throughout the various space maps on your four strong horse legs as you either kill your crewmates or complete your tasks. Inner Sloth announced it will be available from March 31, 2023 to April 2, 2023. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The previous year, Horse Mode merely turned the characters into horses. This year, though, there will be a Horse Wrangling mode to temporarily take over Hide n Seek mode. It's unclear what Horse Wrangling mode will be and if players will be able to play the normal Hide n Seek mode. Aside from awakening your inner equestrian, the new update will also have new cosmetics, such as hats, visors, and nameplates.

"Horse Mode" was originally a joke that Inner sloth made in 2021. However, it became a real thing in 2022 for April Fool's Day. Since Inner Sloth also ran two joke maps in a row for April Fools ("ehT dlekS" in 2020 and 2021), it may change things up next year.

Among Us is available on the PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and mobile devices. The April Fool's Day event will appear in Among Us from March 31, 2023 until April 2, 2023.

limited run 3ds

It's the end of an era, as the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U digital stores have closed down. However, Limited Run Games announced that it will have one final physical Nintendo 3DS release. However, there is a mosaic blocking out the cover of this last title.

In the picture, we can see a Nintendo 3DS along with Go Go Kokopolo. That is another physical release from the company. The final physical 3DS game that Limited Run Games will release appears to have a lot of green and blue on the cover. Some guesses in the comments include Pocket Card Jockey, SubaraCity, and Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. Limited Run Games will provide more information on the game, as well as its release window and price, later on.

Since 2022, Nintendo talked about closing the Wii U and 3DS eShops, and it finally happened on March 27, 2023. If you've purchased a game and have the license for it, you can download it once more via the eShop. However, you will no longer be able to purchase digital games through it. This includes DLC as well. If you still had money in your account, you'll have until March 2024 to transfer that balance to your Nintendo Switch account.

resident evil 4 sales

Within the first two days of its release, sales for Resident Evil 4 Remake already surpassed 3 million copies. This includes both physical and digital versions, as well as sales from all four of its platforms. Though it obviously has not sold more than its original, it is possibly on its way to surpassing the 2005 release of Resident Evil 4.

Capcom cites the demo and positive online reviews as why Resident Evil 4 Remake has had such success so soon after its launch. Though it has a modernized story and game feel, with new visuals and engine, it still more or less follows the same story. Players will take control of secret agent Leon S. Kennedy on a mission to Spain in order to save the president's daughter, Ashley Graham.

According to statistics from 2020, these are the total lifetime sales of the original Resident Evil 4 on its various platforms:

  • Nintendo GameCube: 1.6 million
  • Nintendo Wii: 2 million
  • PS2: 2.3 million
  • PS4/Xbox One: 1.9 million
  • Windows PC: 1.2 million
  • Xbox 360/PS3: 1.2 million

This makes for a grand total of 10.2 million units sold. Resident Evil 4 Remake has already sold more copies than the initial GameCube and PS2 releases. Not only are fans already familiar with the legacy of Resident Evil 4, but digital purchases are likely more convenient and precise than going to the store to buy a physical copy.

The Resident Evil 4 remake is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
