Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a third-person action game where you play Cal Kestis in his second rip-roaring adventure across a localised part of the galaxy, fighting both the Empire and a very naughty little Sith, with a flanking attack from Cal's own regrets about getting people killed all the time. Crucially though, at least for the purposes of having fun, Cal has one of those hot glowsticks that goes *whummmmm* and cute robot friend BD-1 - but you will often be deploying both in the effort to get a new pair of trousers. |

HoYoVerse announced yet another Honkai: Star Rail launch promotion, and this one involves March 7th appearing in Waze. She's now available as a navigator voice in-game. It is also possible to change the vehicle icon from a car to the Astral Express train. Both are available until June 24, 2023 in the US. Other regions will also apparently get the options later. HoYoVerse also offered directions for how to access Honkai: Star Rail's Astral Express and March 7th in Waze. March 7th shows up in the Waze Voice section of the Setting's Voice & Sound section. As the promotion is currently only available in the US, you'll find her voice under English. Rather than her name, it's listed as Honkai: Star Rail. To change the appearance of your car, you need to go into the Settings. While there, scroll to Map Display. In the Car Icon section, you'll see the train listed as The Astral Express. Waze is available on Android and Apple iOS devices, and Honkai: Star Rail is available on PCs and mobile devices. People can only use March 7th's voice in the app until June 24, 2023 in the US. Upon its launch, the company specifically noted people can turn to it for details about leveling materials needed for playable characters and details about their Traces. This Honkai: Star Rail wiki features sections for characters, equipment, items, enemies, and combat challenges at launch. In the characters section, you can sort by combat type, path, rarity, and faction. It is also possible to see their stats at level 1 or level 80. Clicking a specific character shows their profile, a gallery of images, sections showing their ascension stats and materials, and their traces. You can also check NPCs in that area. The Equipment HoYoWiki section focuses on Light Cones and Relics in Honkai: Star Rail. As with characters, Light Cones' paths, rarities, ability types, and sources can be shown. You can also see them at various levels and ascension needs on specific profiles. The Relics can be sorted by ability, source, and set, and selecting one lets you see more details about it. The other areas are fairly self-explanatory. Item Index goes over Inventory items and phonograph ones. The Enemies section shows foes and lets you sort by weakness and enemy type. The Combat Challenges area offers details about regular challenges, Forgotten Hall, and Simulated Universe. Disgaea 7, the next entry in the strategy series, is heading westward in Fall 2023, and a new trailer introduces its cast of characters. Things kick off with the new lead, Fuji, as we see him trying to decrease his 10 million HL debt. After that, a number of other folks show up. NIS America also detailed the $99.99 and $158.99 Disgaea 7 Limited Edition options. The Disgaea 7 character trailer begins with Fuji hassling Hihibana Gendosai. After that, we see Pirilika expressing her joy at coming to Hinomoto while talking to a yellow Prinny with cat ears and whiskers. Fuji and Pirilika then meet, with him explaining Hinomoto isn't what she hoped it would be. He then forms a contact with Pirilika, which results in him being tricked into doing her bidding for money. Ao also appears in a brief cameo at the end. As for the Disgaea 7 limited edition bundles, each one will be $99.99 or $158.99 regardless of platform. The basic Limited Edition involves a copy of the game, a Steelbook case for it, a Disgaea 7: The Art of War art book, a Songs & Honor soundtrack, a Yunomi tea cup, and a byoubu art display. HoYoVerse revealed the kit for Baizhu, who will be the new five-star Dendro character in Genshin Impact. Baizhu previously appeared in the story as the owner of Bubu Pharmacy, and he is almost always seen with his talking snake Changsheng. With his Skill and Burst, Baizhu can heal and shield characters. There is also a new character trailer for Baizhu on the various Genshin Impact YouTube channels. It shows his deep knowledge of medicinal herbs, as he can improvise new prescriptions based on his patients' needs. His Skill, Universal Diagnosis, sends out a Gossamer Sprite that will damage nearby enemies three times. It will then return to the user and heal the party based on Baizhu's Max HP. If there are no enemies for Gossamer Sprite to attack, then it will just heal the party. His Burst, Holistic Revivification, creates a shield every 2.5 seconds. It will both attack the enemy with Dendro DMG and heal the active character. In English, Sean Durrie voices Baizhu and Xanthe Huynh voices Changsheng. Durrie previously appeared as Nick Marsters in Quantum Break. Meanwhile, Huynh's roles include Alluka in Hunter x Hunter and Haru in Persona 5. In the Japanese dub, Koji Yusa voices Baizhu and Yui Shoji voices Changsheng. Some of Yusa's more famous roles include Gin in Bleach and Shadow in Sonic. Shoji is the voice actress for Signora in Genshin Impact as well. Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Honkai Star Rail officially launched, and HoYoVerse also announced its World Tour 2023 event. From July to September 2023, Honkai Star Rail panels will appear in five separate game expositions and shows. Visitors will be able to participate in contests, obtain stickers, and play demos of the game. The schedule for the Honkai Star Rail World Tour 2023 is as follows:
While these conventions will run for several days in a row, it's unclear if the Honkai Star Rail booth will be there the entire time. More information on the World Tour will appear on the official website closer to the events. At the booth, players will be able to try out the game, as well as vote for their favorite scenes and characters. There will also be a stage competition, which appears to be a PvP tournament, complete with banning our opponent's characters. Finally, there will be a live concert and sticker collecting activity. Select movie theaters in North America will show the Japanese version of The Super Mario Bros. Movie. It will start for a limited time from April 28, 2023, which is the same date that the movie debuts in Japan. However, if this will be your first time watching the The Super Mario Bros. Movie, you will need to know Japanese. The movie theaters will not offer subtitles. The Japanese dub will have the voice talents of Mamoru Miyano (Ryuji from Persona 5) as Mario and Tasuku Hatanaka (Yuma from Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal) as Luigi. According to Shigeru Miyamoto, who is the creator of the Super Mario series, the Japanese script has localized several jokes that were more Westerner-specific. This could have contributed to the delay in the movie's release in the game series's native Japan. The Super Mario Bros. As part of Cover's initiative to expand its wide range of talents, Holostars' Tempus came into being. In January 2023 Gavis Bettel, Banzoin Hakka, Josuiji Shinri, and Machina X Flayon joined the roster of the guild, bringing new faces and talents into the fold. Siliconera had the opportunity to interview Josuiji Shinri of HoloLive and discuss how collaborations between such a varied group of VTubers work and how he goes about selecting the kind of content he enjoys showcasing on his channel. Kazuma Hashimoto: How do you determine what games you play for your audience? Is it based on reception to what they respond to, or do you mostly pick what you enjoy? Josuiji Shinri: I joke that my intent in picking these games is to whiplash the audience by bouncing back and forth between terrifying horror games and gut wrenching emotional love stories. A lot of the games that I pick out usually come from the recommendation of my audience. While there are games that I like to enjoy on my own, being a streamer has put me in a unique position where viewers will offer and suggest their favorite games. It's because of this that I've been exposed to an incredible array of games that I'd never heard of or would have initially considered playing. Because of this, I've had my eyes open to a wide variety of visual novels, unique puzzle games, foreign horror games, and so much more. I love it when I receive audience recommendations on the games that I play on stream. For some of them, it's a childhood classic with a lot of nostalgia, for other's it's just one of their favorites that they love seeing streamed. One of the frequent comments I get along with these recommendations is how much they focus on the story and characters in those games because they know that I really do try to pay attention to the small details. I can't overstate how much I appreciate it. What is it like collaborating with such a large, diverse group of streamers under Holostars? Josuiji Shinri: At first, it was a little daunting. There's just so much talent and skill in the group with such a wide dynamic of personalities that I was a little afraid of being drowned out. I'm one of the more reserved and quiet members in Tempus and sometimes it's hard for me to keep up with the high intensity energy levels of the other boys. Despite that, it's been an incredible experience and they're all so welcoming that I feel like I've been able to find my place in the group. Scheduling is collabs is pretty easy since we just hit each other up on DMs and even if we don't explicitly schedule a collab, there are many times when we'd just have impromptu collabs. Whenever the guys are playing some game, they'll ping us and let us know it's an open invite for the other boys to drop in and out whenever. That openness makes it very easy to collab with each other without feeling any of the formalities of a schedule collab. There are several songs that I have on my mind, but I would really like a chance to build up my skills and receive some formal training before I tackle another cover. Putting out "Daddy Daddy Do" was a bit of a personal challenge for myself, almost like takine a snapshot of where I was at this point in my development of skills so that I could go back and revisit it with more experience in the future. What is your favorite kind of content to create? Josuiji Shinri: My absolute favorite content to create is let's plays of indie games, especially horror and those that dive deep into a very emotional story. I love focusing on the story and lore of the games that I play, really diving into theorycrafting and discussions with chat as we progress through the game. I know there's a big draw for high energy and exciting streamers, the ones who turn every moment in a stream into something witty or funny. No shade to those creators, they're amazing at what they do. But for myself, I enjoy it when streamers take the time to slow down and really engage themselves with the story, explore the little notes and clues implying a more fleshed out world beyond just what's provided through exposition. I try my best to convey that through my streams by putting the story that the games want to tell at the front of my content. Is there any specific kind of content you would like to create in the future, like performing more covers, collaborations with fellow HoloStars members, or something else entirely? Josuiji Shinri: Covers and collabs are definitely on the board and I have a few in mind already. Some of the bigger things that I'd like to push myself towards is more scripted video content. While let's plays and gameplay streams are pretty common among streamers, I want to push myself to create some different types of content. A few ideas that I'd been talking with the boys about involve short visual novel-type skits, perhaps a holoTEMPUS alternate universe where we're all in school again just living through our own comedy slice of life anime. Game shows and self organized tournaments between the boys. And something that I really want to try getting off the ground are longer length audio dramas akin to the radio shows of old with all of the boys together!
