We've again heard whispers from those in the know that Microsoft is planning to tweak Windows 11 so that any taskbar widget can be pinned to the desktop – a feature that used to be available to users all the way back in the Windows Vista era.
Check out the open job listings at Apple, and you'll notice that a lot of recent postings refer to generative AI. There's also a mention of using these technologies to "transform Apple's mobile computing platforms", which makes us think SiriGPT could be on the way.
With the Google Pixel Fold now out in the world, could a Pixel Flip be next? According to Pixel product manager George Hwang, Google is "definitely looking" at different form factors, so watch this space for more foldable phones in the future.
Note the name DragGAN: it's not a fully fledged consumer product yet, but it leverages AI for photo editing tasks so impressively that we think it could seriously challenge Photoshop, and perhaps change our definition of what a photo actually is.
