Welcome to the Week in Review
Welcome
Foldable phones are having a moment. This week, we’ve reviewed the new Motorola Razr Plus – and (set aside your cynicism) it’s the best flip phone we’ve ever used. In fact, our US Mobiles Editor Philip Berne calls it “a major evolutionary step for smartphones.” High praise indeed! Next week we’ll deliver our verdict on the Google Pixel Fold, the first foldable that could really take on Samsung’s Galaxy Fold series – and next month we expect to welcome the fifth generation of Samsung's foldable trailblazer. It’s taken a while for the form factor to go mainstream, but it looks like we may be reaching a tipping point – or maybe that should be flipping point.

Until next week,

Marc McLaren, UK Editor-in-Chief
