Apple unveiled new smartwatches as well as new smartphones yesterday, and the Apple Watch 9 brings numerous upgrades with it, including improved brightness, upgraded gesture controls, and a new chipset. There's a new Apple Watch Ultra 2 as well.
The iPhone 15 handsets bring USB-C to Apple's smartphones for the first time, but there's a pretty big caveat: the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are stuck on 20-year-old USB 2.0 technology, which is even worse when you consider that Thunderbolt 5 is on the way.
The Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset has already been announced of course, but Apple is now upgrading the rest of its hardware to match, with spatial video recording on the iPhone 15 Pro phones, and a Vision-ready audio protocol for the AirPods Pro 2.
