Bandai Namco released The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors: Song for Prism for PCs and mobile devices in Japan. The company also shared an illustration featuring Mano Sakuragi, Hiori Kazano, and Meguru Hachimiya—the three main idols who also form the Illumination Stars unit—to mark the game's launch.
Song for Prism is a free-to-play game that combines idol-raising simulation with rhythm gameplay elements. The player will act as the idol producer of 283 (read: Tsubasa) Production who primarily manages the training and performance schedules for the agency's idols. The rhythm gameplay segment will determine the score and quality of live performances.
Song for Prism features the most recent roster of The Idolm@ster: Shiny Colors, which includes the new units added after the original game's launch in 2018. While the original Shiny Colors shows the characters in Live2D, Song for Prism features their full 3D models. This game will play in a similar fashion to The Idolm@ster Million Live: Theater Days, which features the extended 765 (read: Namco) Production.
Bandai Namco first revealed Song for Prism in late April 2023. It then opened pre-registrations for mobile devices in July 2023 and held an event for the game at Tokyo Game Show 2023. In October 2023, the company confirmed a PC version of the game and opened its pre-registrations via DMM Games. The PC version requires a minimum CPU of Core i3-4360 / AMD A8-7650K and a minimum GPU of GeForce GTX 750Ti / Radeon RX 250X.
The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors: Song for Prism is available in Japan on iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as PCs via DMM Games.

Atlus revealed a Persona 5 Tactica collaboration event at RED° Tokyo Tower, and various kinds of merchandise related to the game will appear in the landmark's recently-opened entertainment center. The event will run from November 17, 2023—the same day as Persona 5 Tactica's release date—to December 21, 2023.
During the collaboration period, a special ticket set will be available at 3,500 yen (~$23). The tickets will allow visitors to access both the RED° facility and the Tokyo Tower's observation deck. Visitors can also participate in a stamp rally where they can win a PET card.
The RED° Mart will also sell various Persona 5 Tactica merchandise ranging from clear files at 550 yen (~$4) to parka hoodies at 7,700 yen (~$51). For every purchase of 2,200 yen, visitors will receive an additional random postcard.
The observatory deck's Cafe La Tour will also sell Persona 5 Tactica-themed drinks. For 800 yen, visitors can purchase Joker's Berry Cola, Erina's Strawberry Milk, or Morgana's Black Sesame Milk Coffee with a random coaster mat featuring chibi artwork of one of the game's characters.
RED° Tokyo Tower is a new entertainment center that opened inside Japan's landmark tower in 2022. The facility features many gaming areas ranging from arcade and VR games to esports PCs and racing simulators. Other than Persona 5 Tactica, the facility is also hosting collaborations with other franchises like Nikke: Goddess of Victory and The Quintessential Quintuplets.
This is not the first time Atlus held a Persona collaboration at the Tokyo Tower. In May 2016, the company staged a live stream showing a takeover of the landmark tower to promote the release of the original Persona 5.
Atlus will release Persona 5 Tactica for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 17, 2023. The Persona 5 Tactica collaboration at RED° Tokyo Tower will run from November 17 to December 21, 2023.

Hololive Production announced the release of the Holostars English visual novel Doppelganger. People can now download Windows and Mac versions of the game after making a purchase on the CCMC Corp itch.io webpage. The visual novel is available with a minimum price of $12.99, although buyers can add more funds if they want to support the game's developers.
Doppelganger features alter egos of six Holostars English VTubers — Regis Altare, Axel Syrios, Gavis Bettel, Machina X Flayon, Banzoin Hakka, and Josuiji Shinri. The visual novel contains six routes leading to an ending with each character and a bonus seventh route that concludes with the true ending. The developers also added a warning that this title is intended for mature audiences due to the inclusion of violent themes.
A launch trailer for the Doppelganger visual novel has also appeared on the Holostars English YouTube channel:
Hololive Production initially revealed Doppelganger in late October 2023. There was no change in the minimum price from the first announcement to the full release. However, people who pre-ordered the game before release can receive additional bonuses. While CCMC Corp is also planning to release Doppelganger on Steam, the title has still yet to appear on the platform as of the first release on itch.io.
Doppelganger is now available in English on Windows and Mac PCs.
