Nintendo revealed that the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Kingdom Hearts Sora amiibo release date is February 16, 2024. This figure will be the final Amiibo for the DLC Fighter Pack that will be released for the highly-acclaimed Nintendo Switch game.
Pre-orders for the Sora Amiibo are currently not open at retailers, although the listing for the product is up on Amazon Japan and was previously available to pre-order in November 2023. This amiibo costs ¥2,116 (~$14 USD) in Japan. It is anticipated that pre-orders will begin soon for the amiibo worldwide.
The SSBU Sora Amiibo was originally announced as being in production on September 14, 2023 during the September 2023 Nintendo Direct. The final DLC Fighter Pack Amiibo was announced alongside Noah and Mio Amiibos from Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
The social media post announcing the release date for the Sora amiibo can be viewed below. It includes a brief video clip that offers a better look at the figure.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate, known as Super Smash Bros Special in Japan, is also celebrating its fifth anniversary with a special in-game event titled "Thank you!! 5th Anniversary of Super Smash Bros SP Release" in Japan. The event will run from December 8, 2023 through to December 13, 2023. During the event period, players will be able to receive extra experience points and SP. The amount of experience points and SP earned will be multiplied by five, allowing players to quickly level up spirits. Players will also obtain an additional five Snacks (L) to use for leveling up spirits.

The release date for Season 3 of the new Blue Exorcist anime series was announced. Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga will premiere in Japan on January 7, 2024. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
New episodes of the anime will appear every Saturday. The latest teaser trailer for the new season appeared on September 2023, and it teased a January 2024 release date. The new Blue Exorcist anime series was originally announced back in December 2022
This new season of the Blue Exorcist anime marks the return of the anime seven years after the previous season aired. The original Blue Exorcist anime series premiered in April 2011. Meanwhile, the second season of the anime series appeared on January 2017, and it was titled Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga.
The Blue Exorcist manga started serialization on Jump Square in April 2009. It follows the story of twins Rin and Yukio Okumura, two exorcist descendants of Satan that are part of the True Cross Academy. When Rin joins the academy as a student, he discovers that his brother Yukio is a teacher there, and has been an experienced exorcist for most of his life.
The Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga season 3 release date falls on January 7, 2024. The rest of the Blue Exorcist anime is available on streaming services such as Crunchyroll.

Nintendo and Family Mart announced that new Animal Crossing: New Horizons themed merchandise goods and a snack will appear at convenience stores throughout Japan. The new campaign and goods will be available starting in December 26, 2023. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Approximately 14,000 stores nationwide will hold the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons campaign. The snack available as part of it is an Island Apple Danish pastry, inspired by the apple trees that appear in some of the islands in the game. It will cost 158 yen (or about $1).
Meanwhile, the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons merchandise goods available at Family Mart will be everyday utility items. Here is the full lineup of goods, and its prices:

In a Famitsu interview about the upcoming Atelier Resleriana, Gust Head and Producer Junzo Hosoi said that the team has fully planned out the end of the story. He also said that they will be able to show it to players when the time comes. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]
In the upcoming Famitsu interview shared by leaker ryokutya2089, Hosoi explained that while development of the story is still in its early stages, the developers have a tight plan for it.
Since Atelier Resleriana is both a live-service mobile game and a main entry in the Atelier series, these words are intended to reassure players that they will be able to witness a proper ending to the story, regardless of when service ends.
In regards to the pacing of events, Akatsuki Games Producer Shuhei Yamaguchi shared that starting in January 2024, the development team will update the game three times per month to allow for more breathing room between events. In addition, the developers are also considering a way to allow players to obtain limited-time characters and Memoria more than once.
Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator is available in Japan on mobile devices. The Japanese Steam version of the game will appear on January 2024. The game is expected to release globally sometime in 2024. Pre-registrations for the global release of the game are now available, and there will be pre-registration bonuses.

Megahobby opened up pre-orders for the Look Up figures of Asuka and Rei from Evangelion. You'll be able to pre-order them from Premium Bandai but as a note, it does not offer international shipping and you cannot even view their site unless you're in Japan.
Both figures cost 9,240 JPY ($62.75) together. They'll also come with little cushions that you can sit them on. The Rei cushion is blue and the Asuka cushion is red. Pre-orders opened on December 7, 2023 and the figures will ship out some time in June 2024. Again, as a reminder, if you want to purchase these but live outside of Japan, you'll have to either ask your local hobby shop if it plans on importing them or you'll need to use a proxy service.

Megahouse first revealed prototypes of these figures back in November 2023. At the time, their eyes were the only parts of them that had color. While Rei mostly looks the same, the sculptors at Megahouse decided to close Asuka's mouth and give her a smile instead. Originally, her mouth, while still smiling, was open. It's unclear if this is to make her expression more of a contrast to Rei's, or if it was more for aesthetic purposes.

We're drawing ever closer to when the Urusei Yatsura anime will come back with season 2. It'll start airing from January 2024, and you'll be able to catch it every Thursday from 12:55am in Japan. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
There is no news as of yet in regards to a specific start date. However, since it will start on Thursdays, there's a chance that it'll start airing on either January 4 or 11, 2024. About a month ago, the Fuji TV uploaded a special trailer for Urusei Yatsura season 2. This trailer focused mostly on the main characters.

Hiroshi Kamiya, who voices protagonist Ataru, narrates almost the entire trailer, describing the characters from his perspective. As such, he spends a lot more time talking about how cute the girls are without paying much attention to the guys. The only other character who has a line is Shutaro, whom Mamoru Miyano voices.
Urusei Yatsura started serialization in 1978 and ran until 1987. It focuses on the story of Ataru Moroboshi, who accidentally proposes to Lum, who is from an alien species that planned on invading Earth. The first show ran from 1981 to 1986. Back then, it starred Toshio Furukawa (One Piece, Mobile Suit Gundam) as Ataru and Fumi Hirano (Tsuritama, Injustice: Gods Among Us) as Lum.
Urusei Yatsura season 2 will start airing from January 2024 on Thursdays. The first season is available on HIDIVE.
