Naughty Dog has stopped development on The Last of Us Online. A statement regarding this decision is available via the company's official website.
To start with, Naughty Dog acknowledges that many fans, especially the The Last of Us Factions community, would be upset at hearing this news. However, it also provided a bit of an explanation. While progress on the game had been good, the team realized that in order for them to make The Last of Us Online according to their vision for the game, they would have to put literally the entire studio's resources behind maintaining and supporting the game after it launches. That means Naughty Dog would be unable to work on or release single-player games in the future.
Naughty Dog reiterated that if they decided to continue going forth with The Last of Us Online, that project would then be literally the only thing the studio could work on. So, instead, it chose to focus on single-player narrative games. The Sony developer stated that these types of narrative games are what have defined the studio. Indeed, Naughty Dog's previous titles have all focused on the single-player experience. Some of the games that define the studio include the Crash Bandicoot series, Jak and Daxter, Uncharted, and, of course, The Last of Us.
At the end of the statement, Naughty Dog thanked fans for their support. It also revealed that it has more than one single-player game in development and looks forward to sharing them with the community.

505 Games released a new trailer introducing the key features of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. At over six minutes long, the trailer is suitable for both newbies and veterans of the Eiyuden series.

At first, it starts with introducing the three main characters: Nowa, Seign, and Marisa. On their journeys, they can meet a total of a hundred unique heroes. Some of the ones that the trailer introduces include Hildi, Yuferius VII, and Mio. You can level up the characters' relationship with each other to unlock new skills and moves to use in combat.
The trailer also gives an idea of the setting that you'll be playing in. Aside from the normal turn-based combat, there is also War Mode, which plays similar to Fire Emblem. You can rest in town and play mini-games when you're not fighting or exploring.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes uses pixel sprites in a 3D environment reminiscent of older games. Yoshitaka Murayama, the creator of the Suikoden series, is the director and producer. This could be why there are so many similarities in both the aesthetic and gameplay between the two games.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will come out on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC on April 23, 2024.

Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders on the company's upcoming RoboCop and ED-209 Moderoid model kits, which will be released in 2024. The Moderoid kits come ready to assemble straight out of the box and do not require any painting.
Moderoid is a series of plastic model kits from Good Smile Company. The company is best known for the highly popular Nendoroid and Figma action figure lines but also has produced numerous statues based on iconic franchises.
There are two different versions of the Moderoid RoboCop model kit. One is the standard RoboCop model kit that stands about 7 inches tall and comes with an Auto 9 and Cobra Assault Canon. The model kit in dudes interchangeable face plates and hand parts, including data spike hand parts. The right thigh parts can be deployed, and holster parts can be attached to recreate the Auto 9 ejection state.
This Moderorid costs $37.99 USD and will release in Q4 2024. You can get a closer look at the kit in the gallery below:
The other version of the Moderoid RoboCop (Jetpack Equipment) model kit is based on RoboCop 3 and comes with a jet pack and Gunarm parts. There are additional head parts for flying poses. The kit also comes with water-slide decals.

The Moderoid ED-209 model kit is a rerelease from 2021 but will be released again in Q4 2024 alongside the RoboCop model kit. It stands around 8 inches tall and uses wires to recreate the cables connecting to its arms. There are water-slide decals included to be used for the kit. Joints are preassembled. Moderoid ED-209 will cost $55.99 USD and does not come with RoboCop.

A new Project Voltage image has been shared on the official X (formerly Twitter) account. The new Project Voltage Hatsune Miku art celebrates the release of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC.
The image depicts Hatsune Miku wearing the Blueberry Academy uniform, while surrounded by the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starter trio, Quaquaval, Meowscarada, and Skeledirge. The Indigo Disk is the second and last add-on of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion episode for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Project Voltage began in September 2023 by showing new designs for Miku alongside various different Pokemon partners of each Pokemon Type. As part of Pokemon Voltage, there are eighteen new original songs sampling music and sound effects from the Pokemon series. The latest song to release is a track by Vocaloid producer cosMo@bousouP titled "Battle! (Hatsune Miku)."
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are immediately available for the Nintendo Switch, as well as the The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLCs.

A new Story of Seasons spin-off is on the way, as Score Studios, Rainy Frog, and Marvelous announced the nonogram puzzle game Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons. It will come to the Switch and PC on February 27, 2024.
As a nonogram puzzle game like Picross, this Story of Seasons spin-off involves filling in squares on a grid based on the number clues above and to the left of each vertical and horizontal row. As someone fills out a puzzle, a picture emerges. In this case, every image is based on a Story of Seasons (Bokujou no Monogatari) game that appeared over the years. Initial screenshots and the first trailer show references to the series' cow, farmer, crops, and NPCs. The game will also include a jukebox with songs from past mainline games, information about past installments, and a background that changes and is inspired by past farms as you complete stages.
Here's a closer look at the first trailer, which shows off some of the 350 puzzles available. References to Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Townand A Wonderful Life appear.

On December 15, 2023, Omocat will release a new collection of Hololive Gamers clothing and merchandise based on Vtuber subunit. It also shared five photos teasing the items that will be available.
All of the items will show up on the Omocat Shop on December 15, 2023 at 5pm PT/8pm ET. Exact prices and items for the collection weren't mentioned. However, the Hololive EN Omocat collection based on the Vtubers included t-shirts, hoodies, track jackets, hats, posters, acrylic stands, pins, keychains, and lanyards. The keychains and lanyards were the cheapest at $10 each, and the most expensive items were $85 track jackets.
The Omocat Hololive Gamers collection initial photos featured two hoodies, what look like two pocket t-shirts, and what looks like a jacket. The black jacket features a design with Inugami Korone, Nekomata Okayu, Ookami Mio, and Shirakami Fubuki on the back. The Fubuki hoodie and pocket t-shirt and Mio hoodie and pocket t-shirt are also teased. In the case of the apparent pocket t-shirts, it seems it will look like a chibi version of the Vtuber is hiding inside.

As a reminder, Hololive Gamers is an official sub-unit within the company. Fubuki originally debuted as a first generation member in Japan. Mio, Okayu, and Korone joined later on.
This will be one of multiple Omocat collections based on Vtubers from the company. Both Hololive EN Myth and Council products appeared in the shop. There are also HoloMeet ones featuring Hoshimachi Suisei, Kureiji Ollie, Regis Altare, Sakura Miko, and various Hololive ID and EN members. The store also sells a number of Omori items.
The new Omocat items will be in-stock on December 15, 2023.

Gecco opened pre-orders for its upcoming 1/6 scale statue of Artorias the Abyssbreaker from Dark Souls. People all over the world can now place orders for the statue at $759.99. Ultra Tokyo Connection, Diamond Comics Distributor, and Sideshow will also help distribute the statue in North America.
Gecco will base the figure's pose on Artorias' first appearance cutscene. The sculptor will weave the statue's chainmail in the same way as the real armor. The abyssal darkness that corrupts Artorias around his feet will also depicted in much detail as it overflows beyond the statue's base.
The 1/6-scale statue will have an overall height of around 380mm (~14.96 inches). The manufacturer will use ABS material to form most of the body frames. It will then cover them with PVC material that allows finer details and longer preservation.
Artorias the Abyssbreaker, also known as Knight Artorias, is a key character and boss in the Artorias of the Abyss expansion pack. FromSoftware first included the content in the 2012 PC release Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition before releasing it as DLC for the original 2011 PS3 and Xbox 360 releases. The expansion is also included in the more recent remaster of Dark Souls that has been available on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch since 2018.
The 1/6 scale statue of Dark Souls' Artorias the Abyssbreaker will be available sometime between June 2024 and September 2024.

Uniqlo announced the release of new t-shirts inspired by Street Fighter and Tekken as part of the Fighting Game Legends UT collection. The new collection will go on sale in Japan on February 26, 2024. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The new collection will include 3 t-shirts for for each game series. Each t-shirt costs 1,500 yen (or about $10.) There is no word on if the new collection will appear outside of Japan, but Uniqlo usually releases similar collections overseas.
The first Street Fighter Uniqlo t-shirt is a dark gray tee with the franchise logo on the back featuring art of Ryu inside the letters, and Ryu doing a Shoryuken on the front. The second one is a white t-shirt with the Street Fighter 2 logo on the front, and hand drawn development art of the game on the back. The third t-shirt is a navy blue tee with the Street Fighter 6 logo and main character Luke.
As for the Tekken Uniqlo t-shirts, the first one features the original Tekken logo with Kazuya Mishima on it, and various characters from the first entry on the back. The second tee has the Tekken 2 logo alongside character King on the front. The third t-shirt features the Tekken 8 logo on the front, and every Tekken game logo on the back.

The Uniqlo Street Fighter and Tekken t-shirt collection will go on sale on February 26, 2024. Street Fighter 6 is immediately available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The SF6 Arcade Version appeared in Japan on December 14, 2023. Tekken 8 will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 26, 2024. A demo is now available on PS5, and will appear for Xbox Series X and PC on December 21, 2023.

A24 and Kojima Productions announced their plans to adapt Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding into a live-action movie. A24 is best known for its highly-acclaimed films like Everything Everywhere All At Once, Moonlight, Uncut Gems, Hereditary, and Lady Bird.
The original video game features famous Hollywood actors like Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Lea Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Tommie Earl Jenkins, and Lindsey Wagner. There are currently no announcements regarding the cast for the Death Stranding live-action film adaption. No other information was revealed about the upcoming film adaption of the video game by Hideo Kojima.
To commemorate the announcement of the live-action feature film, A24 has released a special shirt with A24's logo specially woven into the style of Death Stranding's logo. The shirt comes in sizes Small to 2XL and costs $40 USD. The shirt is currently sold out on the A24 Shop due to popular demand following the film adaption's announcement.

The announcement of the Death Stranding live-action movie adaption coincides with Kojima Production's eighth anniversary which happens on December 16, 2023. The companies stated in the announcement that the film will delve into the mysteries surrounding the event of "Death Stranding", an apocalyptic event that drew horrifying monsters into the world and created a bridge between life and death.
Kojima Productions also revealed in the announcement that over 16 million people across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, PlayStation Plus, and PC Game Pass have played the video game since its launch in 2019.
Death Stranding 2 was announced at The Game Awards 2022, which will feature familiar faces from the first game including Norman Reedus' Sam Porter, Lea Seydoux's Fragile, and Troy Baker's Higgs. The first game is currently available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Nijisanji and Hololive Vtubers Selen Tatsuki and Regis Altare announced they will be part of Apex Rising Charity Pro-Am, an Apex Legends charity tournament running December 14-15, 2023. This charity event is designed to support (Red) and raise money for AIDS research.
How this charity tournament works is that each team has a professionalplayer, with 40 teams total appearing. Evan Verhulst, who is part of TSM is the Apex Legends pro on Team Verhulst playing alongside the two Vtubers. They are one of the 40 teams that will be competing to be the last one standing. In addition to the main stream page, Selen confirmed she will be streaming from her perspective on YouTube. Altare didn't mention if he will as well.
The donation page for the event is now live on Tiltify, and people can specifically support the Verhulst, Selen, and Altare team on their page at the site. The team's goal is listed as $2,000. The goal for it is $5,000.
Selen Tatsuki and Regis Altare have played Apex Legends together multiple times. The two were on Axel Syrios' team during V-Saikyo 2023. Selen also recently organized the December 2023 HoloNiji Apex Custom Apex Legends tournament, which featured Hololive and Nijisanji Vtubers playing together.
The Apex Rising Charity Pro-Am tournament will run December 14-15, 2023, and Apex Legends is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices.

As Version 1.5 of Honkai: Star Rail starts to wind to a close, HoYoVerse will once again launch the Garden of Plenty limited event. It'll start on December 15, 2023 and end on December 22, 2023.
In order to participate in the Garden of Plenty event, you must first complete the "Calyx (Golden): Bud of Memories" Adventure Mission. The Garden of Plenty event is a recurring one in Honkai: Star Rail that's good for those who are trying to build upcoming characters or their current roster. During the event period, you'll get double the rewards from Calyxes, whether they're the Golden ones for experience or the Crimson ones for Trace materials. You can only get bonus rewards a limited number of times per day.
As a reminder, Version 1.6 of Honkai: Star Rail, which should come out after the Garden of Plenty event, will feature three new characters. HoYoVerse teased Dr. Ratio, Ruan Mei, and Xueyi in the past. The order of their banners are currently unknown. However, HoYoVerse will reveal information on them, as well as other events, during the Version 1.6 special program. You can catch it on December 15, 2023.
Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

Shueisha Games revealed that it will release a Jujutsu Kaisen board game in Spring 2024. The game's full title will be Jujutsu Kaisen: Jurei Tousou -Shibuya Jihen-. The subtitle could be translated to "Cursed Spirit Runaway - Shibuya Incident."
As the title implies, the board game will re-enact the Shibuya Incident from the original Jujutsu Kaisen storyline. It will pit Satoru Gojo against the Cursed Spirits. The player who controls Gojo will be able to use powerful spells to crush the enemy spirits. The game will also have an optional mission where Gojo can rescue trapped people to unlock his domain expansion technique, the Unlimited Void.
Meanwhile, other players will be able to act as the likes of Jogo, Hanami, and Mahito. Their primary objective will be to run away from Gojo, who can exorcise them by simply landing in the same spot. Players on the Cursed Spirits' side can win if they survive long enough for the mysterious sorcerer Geto to activate the Prison Realm and seal Gojo inside it.

Many new game adaptations of Gege Akutami's popular manga Jujutsu Kaisen have been revealed in recent months. Rio Company recently released an educational typing game titled Jujutsu Kaisen Typing: Jutsuda for PCs in Japan on December 8, 2023. Meanwhile, Bandai Namco is still working on Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash, a 2v2 arena fighter that will be available worldwide for PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on February 2, 2024.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Jurei Tousou -Shibuya Jihen- will be available in Spring 2024 at 4,950 yen (~$35). Shueisha Games will also hold an early hands-on event for the board game on April 13, 2024.

Good Smile Company is now accepting pre-orders for the Elden Ring Ranni Nendoroid, which previously appeared in prototype form at WonHobby 36. Orders from the Good Smile Store in Japan are expected to ship in June 2024, while orders from the US store are expected sometime in Q4 2024.
The Nendoroid comes with several interchangeable parts, which include various arms, a hand holding the Dark Moon Ring item, the Dark Moon Greatsword, and parts to display her sitting on a small stone stool. Pre-orders will also come with Ranni's summon sign. Orders from the Good Smile Online store will cost ¥7,800 , while ones from the US store will cost $49.99.

Coming up next for fans of Elden Ring is the game's first DLC pack, which is called Shadow of the Erdtree. Developer FromSoftware is keeping its cards close to its chest, but has made some comments on the state of the project's development as well as comparing it to DLC from the company's other games like Bloodborne.

Vtubers Calliope Mori and Takanashi Kiara from Hololive English Myth released an original song together. The song, "Fire N Ice," is available to stream now and has a Youtube music video animated by frequent Hololive collaborator Kanauru.
The pair frequently streamed together when they first debuted as part of Hololive's first English speaking branch, where they were frequently referred to together as TakaMori. Despite both having released several original songs and covers, their only previous musical collaboration outside of group efforts was their cover of "Wah Wah World."
The music video was animated by Kanauru, who frequently animates Vtuber shorts on their Youtube channel. The artist has also been involved in providing animation for music videos and performances by several other Vtubers, including Selen Tatsuki and Hololive Indonesia's second generation.

Earlier this month, fellow Hololive English member Nanashi Mumei made a brief announcement that she would be going on break. Meanwhile, over in the Japanese branch Houshou Marine from Hololive's third generation became the first Vtuber to perform at the FNS Music Festival.

People will be able to take critters along in pets in the first Fae Farm DLC Coasts of Croakia. It launches today, with Switch players getting it for free and PC owners able to pick it up for $9.99.
The Coasts of Croakia add-on can be played during or after the campaign. Once you head into it, you can go to the new Archi-pal-igo Park region. This adds new quests and chances to interact with the animals in the game. In the base game, collecting critters and placing them in certain biomes you build allows you to catch materials. However, in the Fae Farm DLC the new Conch item can be equipped to "talk" to critters to add them as a pet. Using it causes an area of influence to appear in front of you. You can then befriend them to have them work alongside you to provide a stat buff while you explore.
A new array of screenshots showed some of the new additions in the update. Two new NPCs are Lem, who owns Archi-pal-igo Park, and a critter named Champ talking to a person using the Conch. New frog-themed furniture items are shown in a player character's home. There's also an overview of the new island. We also get to see some critters accompanying a Fae Farm character as pets in dungeons.

This is one of two confirmed add-ons. We aren't sure what the next DLC will bring to the game. However, elements we could see include more characters, quests, and furniture items. However, there hasn't been any confirmation about new romance options.
Fae Farm is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC, and the Coasts of Croakia add-on will be available today.
