With talk of Elden Ring's Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC spinning up as 2024 begins, I've assessed my feelings and come to the conclusion that I'm not as excited as I would've been had the game and its DLC somehow existed a few years ago. To be honest with you, part of me hopes it just ends up being a roguelike. That way I might actually get into it. |

It was a fizzing neon labyrinth that was both home to various evil snakes and sort of made of snakes in probably-Freudian ways. Fortunately, I had a lucid dreaming strategy for escaping from Snake World: relax all my limbs as much as I could, then flail around violently to wake myself up. It doesn't look like this will be an effective gambit in Digested, a bodycam horror game about being stuck on a barren, thinly forested and possibly irradiated island with a giant snake. Your tactical options seem to consist mostly here of running away. |

EA and Respawn released a collection of Apex Legends FFVII Vtuber assets for people to use. They're available on the official site alongside past Gaiden and Revenant ones.
The file is about a 47mb download. It consists of three sorts of materials. One is Nessie Moogle mascot that has idle, cheer, dance, and sleep animations. It also has Twitch integration toggles that react to follows, raids, and subs. There are two sorts of overlays, with one featuring Aerith's yellow flowers and the other showing materia from the series. Finally, there is a Vtuber Wattson Moogle Blanket "outfit" based on the new skin for the character in Apex Legends. That makes it look like the person is wearing the character's new hat and coat.
Respawn also shared a brief FFVII Apex Legends Vtuber assets video clip showing the Wattson Moogle Blanket in action. It showed the Vtuber Vienna the Cosmic Dragon using it. It highlights the various patches that reference characters like the Chocobo, Cait Sith, and Cactaur.
Apex Legends is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Its FFVII Rebirth event is available now. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come to the PS5 on February 29, 2024, with the exclusivity arrangement ending on May 29, 2024.

Nihon Falcom canceled the Falcom jdk Band Live 2024 concert in Tokyo, which was originally scheduled to take place on January 13, 2024. In its press release, the company cited safety concerns due to a bomb threat on the venue as the primary reason for the cancellation.
On January 6, 2024, Kichijoji Club Seata's contact center received an email containing a bomb threat. The perpetrator claimed that they would bomb the facility and harm its staff and visitors within a specified time frame that included January 13, 2024—the date when Falcom jdk Band's concert would be held.
Club Seata immediately contacted the police to report the threat. The authorities noted that it had also received the same report from many other live house clubs all around Japan. This was not the only game-related event in Japan that was canceled due to domestic terrorism threats in recent months. In December 2023, Nintendo received threats targeting the staff and audience at Splatoon Koshien 2023. The company ultimately decided to postpone the tournament and cancel the Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo event due to safety concerns.

Bandai Namco revealed the last two Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash characters are Suguru Geto and Yuta Okkotsu. There's also a new trailer showing how both will look in the game.
Yuta first debuted as the star of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 manga and anime. However, since then he's also become a prominent supporting cast member in the main series, especially in later parts of the story. It appears that his character design for the game is based on his earlier appearance, rather than his current one in the series. Meanwhile Suguru Geto is one of the primary antagonists in Jujutsu Kaisen and a former classmate of Satoru Gojo.
Here's the latest trailer for the Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash. It begins with looking at Yuta. He'll be able to summon Rika to fight alongside him. At the 30 second mark, Suguru shows up.

A Mega Man Battle Network theme will appear at Capcom Cafe in early 2024. Capcom announced that it will change the theme starting on January 26, 2024, and that it will run until March 25, 2024. It will be available at both of the cafe's active outlets on the 3rd floor of Grandscape Ikebukuro in Tokyo and the 13th floor of Daimaru Umeda in Osaka.
Capcom has also shared a key visual for the special cafe theme. It hints that the collaboration will focus on the NetNavis MegaMan.EXE, ProtoMan.EXE, Bass.EXE, Colonel.EXE, and SearchMan.EXE. The cafe's collaboration themes usually come with merchandise based on the featured characters and a food and beverage menu inspired by the franchise. However, Capcom has still yet to reveal the details of this theme. It will make another announcement in the near future.
Capcom Cafe has been regularly holding special collaboration themes based on the company's game franchises like Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, and Sengoku Basara. It also occasionally featured other external anime franchises, such as Evangelion and The Quintessential Quintuplets.
The Mega Man Battle Network theme at Capcom Cafe in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and Umeda, Osaka, will be available from January 26, 2024, to March 25, 2024. Capcom will base this theme on the chip-based battle RPG series that originally appeared on the Game Boy Advance in the early 2000s. The company has since recompiled the series as Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, which is immediately available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Cygames' latest showcase revealed a Granblue Fantasy: Relink PS4 and PS5 demo, a Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising save data bonus, and an upcoming Lucilius battle. The trial will drop on the PlayStation Store on January 12, 2024.
The demo announcement included some details about what to expect at the one hour and four minute mark of the presentation. Cygames offered apologies for it not being on Steam as well. It will offer three experiences. There will be a Tutorial, an example fo the Story Mode, and a brief Quest Mode experience with three quests from the game. The story is apparently nearly identical to the one in-game. As for Quest Mode, it can be played offline or online and includes 11 characters.

As for the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising bonus, it's a lobby avatar. In the fighting game, someone will be able to select Id if they get Granblue Fantasy: Relink. With Lucilius, that multiplayer boss fight debuts in March 2024.
In case you missed it, here's the Granblue Fantasy: Relink showcase. It primarily starts by focusing on gameplay and going over different elements of the title. However, after about the first hour, it also gets into details about the demo and other updates.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink will come to the PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam on February 1, 2024, and a demo will appear for the PS4 and PS5 on January 12, 2024.

Houshou Marine now has over 3 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Cover made an announcement on Hololive Production's official X social media account to celebrate the occasion. It added that Marine has become the first Japanese Hololive VTuber to reach the milestone.
As of January 11, 2024, Houshou Marine's YouTube channel has over 3.1 million subscribers recorded. This means she has also surpassed Kizuna AI's channel—which has around 3 million subscribers at the same time—and become the second overall most subscribed VTuber on YouTube. The first spot goes to the Hololive English VTuber Gawr Gura, who stands at 4.42 million subscribers.

The pirate captain-themed VTuber made her official debut in August 2019. When Marine reached 1 million subscribers in January 2021, she was the fifth Japanese and sixth overall Hololive VTuber to hit the first major milestone. But when she hit 2 million in August 2022, she was the first Japanese and third overall from Hololive to get the amount.
Hololive Production's female VTubers have huge popularity on YouTube, and many of them also have millions of subscribers on the platform. As of January 11, 2024, Usada Pekora stands as the third most-subscribed Hololive VTuber with 2.41 million subscribers recorded. The English VTuber Calliope Mori follows at fourth with 2.33 million. Hololive Indonesia's Kobo Kanaeru rounds up the top five at 2.29 million subscribers, but Shirakami Fubuki is also trailing very close with 2.28 million.
