The Yofukashi no Uta (Call of the Night) manga series officially reached its end with chapter 200 after four years of serialization. The chapter appeared on January 24, 2024 in the latest issue of the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. [Thanks, Oricon!]
In addition, on his personal social media account Call of the Night writer and illustrator Kotoyama shared a drawing of series' co-protagonist Nazuna Nanakusa. Call of the Night was also featured in the cover of the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday, and the chapter had an opening color page. Furthermore, the magazine included a special article about the manga.
The Call of the Night manga began serialization on back in August 2019, and it received an anime adaptation that aired between July and September 2022. It was announced back in November 10, 2023 that the manga series would end sometime in January 2024, with nine chapters left.
The Call of the Night manga ended with chapter 200 on January 24, 2024. The English release of the manga is handled by Viz Media, and the anime is readily available on HIDIVE.

From January 26, 2024, Nintendo announced Spirits from Hades, eBaseball Power Pros, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will appear in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. You'll also get more SP than usual after winning a battle.
The name of the event is "Baseball, Sentinels, and Gods." There are no details as of yet in regards to which characters will show up and what effect they'll have. Nintendo will add in a new spirit every day for five days from January 26, 2024.
Spirits are a new addition to Super Smash Bros Ultimate and they're collectibles in the same vein as trophies from previous entries. You can also equip them in battle, which will enhance your fighter's stats. There are currently over 1500 Spirits in the game, from over 40 different series.
All three games have previously appeared in the Nintendo Switch. eBaseball Power Pros is a long-running series of baseball games from Konami that debuted in 1994. Hades originally came out in 2020. It is a roguelike in which you play as Zagreus, the son of Hades. It features a lot of references to Greek mythology and is incredibly popular. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim was originally on the PS4 but came out on the Switch in 2022. It is a combination between an RTS and a side-scrolling adventure game that features an ensemble cast.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate is readily available on the Nintendo Switch. Spirits from Hades, eBaseball Power Pros, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will appear in Super Smash Bros Ultimate from January 26, 2024.

Nintendo announced that as of April 8, 2024, it will no longer support online services for the 3DS or the Wii U. This will include online co-op or multiplayer, internet rankings, and data distribution.
You will still be able to play offline games, and Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter will still be available as well. Nintendo does note that support for Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter may end in the future though. StreetPass will be available too, because it uses local communication between 3DS systems. However, you won't be able to use SpotPass. Finally, it will be possible to download update date, as well as redownload games and DLC you own from the eShop.
Nintendo has been phasing out both the 3DS and the Wii U for a while now. The eShop for both consoles closed down in March 2023. Nintendo also announced that it would close down online services for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U back in October 2023. This is not a surprise considering how old these consoles are. The 3DS first came out in 2011 and the Wii U launched in 2012.
You will no longer be able to access online services on the 3DS or the Wii U after April 8, 2024. However, you will still be able to access StreetPass, as well as download games and DLC you previously purchased.

In the early hours of January 23, 2024, Capcom released a hotfix that will let Monster Hunter Rise run on the Steam Deck after updating to Ver.16.0.2.0. Players had reported issues with the new update, which added Enigma DRM to Monster Hunter Rise.
Capcom apologizes for any downtime that players may have experienced as a result. Players are still less than thrilled with Capcom though. They are less mad about the downtime and more angry about the DRM that Capcom added to Monster Hunter Rise. They were quick to point out the DRM, which was part of the new update, was likely the culprit as to why the game couldn't run on the Steam Deck.
Reviews for the game on Steam have also taken a turn for the negative thanks to the introduction of Enigma DRM. Many players have pointed out that mods are not cheating—likely a reference to Capcom's belief that mods and cheating are the same—and that the DRM punishes legitimate players more than it does pirates. Monster Hunter Rise is not the first game that Capcom added the controversial program to. It added it into games like Resident Evil: Revelations and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection.
Monster Hunter Rise is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
