When does Diablo 4 Season 4 start? A much-loved feature from Diablo 3 makes its return in D4 with the (re)introduction of seasons, adding everything from new questlines to items, gameplay mechanics, and more.      Best AIO cooler in 2024

What is the best AIO cooler? They'll stop your CPU from breaking into a sweat during intense gaming sessions while keeping the inside of your PC looking spacious and clean. Custom water cooling might look even slicker, and air coolers can be cheaper, but a top AIO cooler is a great way to keep your CPU cool.

They're an optional upgrade for most people, but AIO coolers can make the best gaming PC even better - particularly if you've learned how to overclock your CPU. A good AIO cooler lets you overclock to crank out more performance with less risk of melting your CPU to a crisp.

You might think liquids shouldn't mix with electronics, yet an effective pump and radiator combo will move heat away from that CPU faster than you can say 'thermal throttling'. We've put the best AIO coolers to the test, from top liquid CPU cooler brands like MSI and Be quiet! to veterans like NZXT, Cooler Master, and Corsair, so you've nothing to worry about when it comes to the safety of your rig.

Best Valorant crosshair codes used by streamers and pros February 2024

What are the Valorant crosshair codes? Crosshairs in the Riot Games FPS are more complex and customizable than ever, thanks to a recent update. With a complex-looking string of numbers, letters, and symbols, you can change your in-game sights to match players from your favorite esports teams such as DRX, Fnatic, or Team Liquid, or make your own entirely.

Many of the best PC games with pro teams like to come up with ways for FPS game players to show allegiance to their favorite players. For example, Rainbow Six Siege has charms and Valorant has gun buddies. Custom crosshairs take things to another level though, and can even help you achieve a similar level of accuracy as the pros, too. Different colors or sizes can make your crosshair stand out more, potentially affecting your accuracy. We've collected Valorant crosshair codes for all of the big teams in one place, so you don't have to go hunting around too much to equip your favorite Valorant characters with your chosen sight. Jump to the bottom if you need to know how to import Valorant crosshairs.

Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League Steam reviews are good somehow

Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League has been a wild ride, even though it only launched a week ago. There were concerns about its live service elements, and also about how it would treat the semi-eponymous Justice League, particularly the Arkham series version of Batman we've all come to love. Controversial before it even launched, I think a lot of us, fans and critics alike, were expecting a major bomb reviews wise for Rocksteady's latest. But despite all the doubts and worries, Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League Steam reviews are currently riding high, and the superhero open-world adventure is sitting pretty with a coveted 'very positive' rating. Player numbers are arguably low. Reviews from elsewhere aren't quite as consistent. But the new Suicide Squad game has certainly found its proponents, at least on Valve's storefront.

How to water cool your PC

If you're putting a new build together, you might be pondering how to water cool your PC. Well, the benefits of using a custom loop compared to air cooling are numerous. For a start, PC liquid cooling gear obviously looks fantastic, and you get to pick your own coolant to color-match it with the rest of your PC too, turning heads in the process.

On a less superficial level, the extra cooling capacity you gain over even the best AIO cooler by using large radiators, and the increased heat capacity of using coolant compared to air, means that fans on radiators can run much more quietly, yet still offer better cooling than a large air cooler. In this guide, I'll take you through the basics of how to get started with water cooling, the components you need, and how to put it all together.

     How to clean a waterblock

In this guide, we'll show you how to clean a waterblock. Over time, the waterblocks in a PC water cooling loop can lose their shine, and gunk can build up in their small heat-transferring fins. This not only causes them to lose cooling performance but also means they look far less attractive than when they were new.

While a custom loop will usually be cooler, quieter, and better looking than even the best AIO  cooler, it will also need some maintenance to keep it ship shape. Oxidation and residue build-up is unavoidable, and noticeable if you have a see-through top on your waterblock, but it can be fixed with a bit of elbow grease.

Akko MOD007B Tokyo review – a hidden gem for gaming

The Akko MOD007B Tokyo is a stunning gaming keyboard to look at, thanks to its combination of a compact 75% layout and charming Tokyo-themed design. However,  behind the Tokyo landscape, there's also an impressive gaming experience that means it's mostly worth the $150 price tag on both performance and style.

Along with its reliable typing experience and irresistible style, the Akko MOD007B also has the features and gaming performance chops to make it one of the best gaming keyboards I've used in recent years. I wrote the Akko MOD007B off as a vanity product, something that would look great on your desktop, but without the performance to match its style, but that's not the case. Plus, if you're not a fan of the Tokyo theme, it's also available in a blue Santorini theme while the wider MOD007 range comes in a wide variety of other styles.

A story about a girl who has a ghost best friend nobody else can see, and has to juggle that relationship with her interactions with living people? Sounds fake. Haha, but seriously folks. There's a demo for Paper Ghost Stories: Third Eye Open in the Steam Next Fest, and boy howdy did I like just looking at this game in motion. The clue is in the name, as all the characters look like 2D paper cut out dolls, and all the environments are like papercraft models. It's pretty gorge.

Third Eye Open, out this year, is inspired by the Joss-Papercraft of Southeast Asia (indeed, the start menu is a stage). You play as Ting, a pre-adolescent girl living in Malaysia with her parents. Ting discovers her supernatural ability to see ghosts at a camp, where she meets Xiu, a ghost girl about her own age. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League feels like a perfectly average open world action game that plops out when a finance department locks a brilliant developer in a room and refuses to let them see sunlight for nine years. Every so often, there are games that come out that are made with real models. They're sometimes called "handmade" games, implying pure coders use their prehensile toes, but I really like it every time I see one because I love models. I like little versions of regular things! I just think they're neat. But it really is every so often, presumably because it takes even longer to make a tiny little man out of twigs and spit and scan him into a computer than it does to make him in the computer to start with. Cute miniature puzzle game Lumino City is ten years old, and Trüberbrook is coming up on five. And I first played a tiny snippet of Harold Halibut in 2018. Now, a larger snippet is available for everyone in the Steam Next Fest.

Harold Halibut is a sort of sci-fi, slightly retrofuturist point and click puzzle game about an undersea society on an alien planet. These people's ancestors blasted off to an ocean planet using the technology of a big science corporation and now, though they can't remember why, they're all pootling about under the water looking at fish. In this world of exaggerated sea-science nonsense, Harold stands out as a sort of beige lab handyman.

  • Pon: ¥1,980
  • Con: ¥1,980

Here's a closer look at all the new Kirby plush characters.

San-Ei had previously released the first five plushes featuring Kirby, Gordo, Bronto Burt, Ice Dragon, and Marx in 2021. The company will also restock these plushes in March 2024, but it will raise the prices. For instance, Kirby's plush will go from ¥1,650 to ¥1,760.

This collection will highlight many Kirby characters other than the eponymous protagonist who has been frequently featured in recent merchandise. Good Smile Company has revealed a Pop Up Parade figure of Kirby, and its pre-orders are still open throughout February 2024. Meanwhile, Re-Ment is preparing to release the Kirby Wonder Room dioramas that also include Waddle Dee and Chef Kawasaki.

The second batch of Kirby Kororon Friends plushes will be available in Japan in mid-April 2024.

Interview: Preparing for Love in the Workplace with Sympathy Kiss

Idea Factory International's next Switch otome Switch game is going to be Sympathy Kiss, a title that looks at love in the workplace. At the same time, it features more mature elements and fears, such as things like dealing with the looming concerns about layoffs, getting along with coworkers, and furthering your career. To help learn more, Siliconera spoke with Director Hiroe Aoki about the game and its themes.

Jenni Lada: How did real apps and software developers influence the development of Sympathy Kiss?

Hiroe Aoki: The release ofLover Pretend, a game I previously created, significantly influenced Sympathy Kiss, as I discovered that there are players who enjoy stories set in the modern real world. I decided to be bold and dive deeper into a story that explored that setting.

Sympathy Kiss is a workplace romance otome game that features more mature themes, so how did actual office life influence the tone, storylines, and love interests?

Aoki: I have worked at several companies until now and have experienced things like bankruptcies and the closure of game apps. I believe those experiences helped me shape the story. On the other hand, I created the characters with the hope that office life would have been more enjoyable if there were people like them.

Sympathy Kiss has system called RiNG to contact love interests via calls and text messages. What led to its implementation, and how did other games with similar systems influence Sympathy Kiss?

Aoki: As long as the story is set in the real world, I felt that communication via smartphones is essential. The world is set a few years later than Lover Pretend, so I adopted the same texting system with RiNG.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKYUyuw6j3c

The Emotion Select system means that instead of picking a written response, a player chooses emotions to "reply." How did this system come into play? During development, how did you ensure that the options would be clear enough for players to select exactly what they mean?

Aoki: This time, the main character is meant to be you, the player. Therefore, I thought it would be great to not only have dialogue choices during conversations, but to also be able to express emotions in a way that reflects how real romantic interactions would play out.

Many people from the Sympathy Kiss team also worked on the Switch otome game Lover Pretend. How did the experiences from one influence the other?

Aoki: I incorporated elements from the Lover Pretend system that fit well with the concept and story of Sympathy Kiss. I also consciously aimed to surpass Lover Pretend with the artwork and romantic scenes.

Among the Sympathy Kiss characters, which workplace love interest was the most challenging to create?

Aoki: Each character presented its own challenges, but the most difficult was perhaps Rokuro Yoshioka. Because he's extremely wealthy, handsome, and possesses a unique personality, he was quite a demanding character. He seemed almost unreal, like a type of person you would never encounter in real life, so his character development and storyline were the aspects I struggled with the most.

Image via Idea Factory International

Now that many Idea Factory and Otomate Switch otome games are being localized and released worldwide, does that affect the development process? How early in the process does the team know that, for example, Idea Factory International will also release it worldwide?

Aoki: At the development stage, there were no plans to release the game worldwide, so we created it without considering a global audience. Our primary focus was creating an experience that Japanese players would enjoy. It's essential to first make a game that resonates with the local audience before thinking about expanding its reach.

Both Lover Pretend and Sympathy Kiss are visual novel otome games that include features like the Pretend Time and emotion systems, going beyond typical gameplay. What features would you like to incorporate into a future game in the genre?

Aoki: While I believe that systems like this should be designed with the world and story of the game in mind, I think it would be interesting to create a game that primarily revolves around the RiNG system. The dynamic of progressing through the game via text messages could be engaging.

Do you have any final comments about the game?

Aoki: Our team would be thrilled if everyone around the world could enjoy Sympathy Kiss. Thank you!

Sympathy Kiss will come to the Nintendo Switch on February 27, 2024.

AYANEO announced another mobile device for playing games, with this time it being an Android-based handheld that looks like the Switch called Pocket S. It pre-launched on Indiegogo ahead of its April 2024 launch, and there's no price estimate for it yet.

While there are no detachable controllers, the general design of the Pocket S isn't dissimilar to a Switch, Switch Lite, or even Vita. The placement of the D-pad, analog sticks, and action buttons are all similar, as are the left and right triggers. It does have a 1440p 6" screen, however.

As for the internals, it is a Adreno A32 GPU Snapdragon G3x device. It works with the AYANEO AYAHome Desktop Launcher for game management and is designed to map mobile games to controllers. The company noted storage can go up to 1TB. Also, while a list of supported games wasn't shared, the Indiegogo page does show Genshin Impact running in one of the photos.

Here's the first trailer offering a look at the device.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJv7JdyY7_g&ab_channel=AYANEO

Some of AYANEO's other recent devices also resembled other consoles or phones. For example, the AYANEO FLIP DS looks like a DS or 3DS. The AYANEO Slide resembles a Motorola Droid.

The AYANEO Pocket S is expected to launch in April 2024.

Zoids Monster Hunter kit boxart - Beast Liger Sinister Armor vs Magnamalo

Takara Tomy revealed boxart designs for its upcoming Zoids - Monster Hunter crossover model kits. It shows how the Zoids will fight the monsters that source the former's armor designs. Beast Liger will face off against Magnamalo, while Sonic Bird will fight Rathalos.

The company has also published a background story on the franchise collaboration's webpage. It tells how the monsters and Felynes from the Monster Hunter universe appear in a Zoids world via a multiverse gate. The monsters attack mankind due to the lack of their original habitats, while the Felynes make friendly contact with humans and offer tips on fighting the monsters while finding a method to return to their original world. The world's defense forces eventually decided to produce special Zoids to deal with the monsters.

The full boxart images are available below, via the Japanese official Zoids X account. The first one features the Beast Liger in Sinister Armor fighting against Magnamalo:

https://twitter.com/zoids_official/status/1754716550836199763

And here's the second boxart featuring Sonic Bird in Rathalos Armor against the overall Monster Hunter series' flagship monster:

Pre-orders for these model kits have been available since January 2024. However, Takara Tomy's own web store only supports domestic shipping inside Japan. People residing outside the country can still order the kits from other sites like AmiAmi and Hobby Search. Both storefronts also offer discounts for the kits, which originally cost 6,600 yen (~$44.56).

The Zoids - Monster Hunter crossover model kits of Beast Liger with Sinister Armor and Sonic Bird with Rathalos Armor will be available on July 20, 2024.

kagurabachi voiced comics

The Weekly Shonen Jump YouTube channel now has voiced manga of Kagurabachi. This is the first time that a series has ever been adapted for a "manga animation" in English. [Thanks, Shonen Jump News!]

You can watch the first three chapters of Kagurabachi as voiced comics here. First, here is chapter 1:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju2uHcq6hQc

Next, here is chapter 2:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b59df7IKjcM

Finally, here is chapter 3:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUo5kS8MRqc

The first chapter is around sixteen minutes long, while the second and third are about eight minutes each. While the voices are still in Japanese, the text uses English text. So people who might not understand Japanese can still follow along. Though this is the Japanese channel for Weekly Shonen Jump, as of the time of writing, virtually all of the comments for the Kagurabachi manga animation are in English.

The reason why Kagurabachi's manga animation appeared in English on the YouTube channel is likely due to Shueisha taking notice of Kagurabachi's overseas popularity. The series started serialization in September 2023 but quickly rose through the manga rankings. At first, users were semi-ironically praising Kagurabachi and calling it the best manga of all time. Some even jokingly listed it as one of The Big Three, meaning it was on the level of Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece.

However, those who post about Kagurabachi nowadays are likely genuine fans of the series. In Japan, people who like it are legitimate as well, since it was never a meme there. Many popular manga artists, such as My Hero Academia's Horikoshi, have recommended it as well.

Kagurabachi is running in Weekly Shonen Jump, with Viz releasing the chapters in English.

racing miku 2023 figure

Good Smile Company opened up pre-orders for a scale figure of Racing Miku 2023 Version. She'll come out in February 2025 for Japan and Q3 2025 for North America. The figure will cost 27,800 JPY, which is about $183.99.

The Racing Miku 2023 figure uses the original design that toridamono made for the 2023 Hatsune Miku GT Project. The figure shows her wearing an outfit that's mostly white, with red accents. There are holes in the shoulders, as well as in the sides, making it a rather revealing figure. Miku's hair is in her signature pigtails, and she has a white beret as well. There's a version of her that's holding a flag saying "Good Smile Racing," and in the figure, one of the birds is holding the flag instead.

Since this is a scale figure, it does not have any optional parts, nor can you adjust the pose. Miku is standing very excitedly with a big smile on her face. She's also holding her hands like she's pointing at something, or she's trying to signal an L.

Previously, Good Smile Company used this exact design for a Figma figure. While Miku looked the same and had the same base pose on the company website, you could readjust her pose. Pre-orders for the Figma closed on January 18, 2024, but it will also come out in early 2025.

The Racing Miku 2023 figure from Good Smile Company will come out in 2025.
