Building a mini-ITX PC should be hard – that's the point

Building a mini-ITX PC is no fun if it isn't a challenge. That's the conclusion I've come to after spending many moments pondering why I'm such a huge fan of mini-ITX systems. There are other factors, of course. Moving into a bigger house has meant having a bigger office and far less of a need to maximize desk or floor space by downsizing my PC. Nevertheless, my two main systems I've used since moving have both been mini-ITX.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Edward, Alphonse, and Winry Nendoroids Coming

As part of the WonHobby 38 announcements, Good Smile Company showed the Winry Rockbell Nendoroid, the Edward Elric Nendoroid Doll, and revealed Ed and Alphonse Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood "Final Episode" Nendoroids. All four are in various stages of development.

We first learned about the Ed Nendoroid Doll back in November 2023. The version of it that appeared at the event is much farther along in development. It was a fully painted prototype, with the outfit complete as well.

Here's how that looks:

The Winry figure isn't as far along along as the Ed doll. She showed up as an unpainted prototype. The preliminary design did confirm she will come with a wrench as one of her accessories.

Here's the first photo of her Good Smile Company shared with us.

As for the Final Episode versions of Ed and Al, only concept art appeared alongside the announcements for them.

There's no release window yet for the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Edward, Alphonse, and Winry Nendoroids and Ed Nendoroid Doll, though the Nendoroid Doll looks like it will be the first to appear. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll. The manga is available via Yen Press.

Here's the Story of Seasons Nendoroid of Harvest Moon Staple Claire

Good Smile Company offered an update on its first Story of Seasons Nendoroid of classic Harvest Moon protagonist Claire at WonHobby 38. This time, the character appeared as an unpainted prototype at the event.

The official update essentially recreates the concept art shared back in July 2023. That showed the farmer avatar holding a turnip, one of the series' most iconic crops. The figure is wearing her overalls, has a smiling expression, and has the turnip in her hands. No farm animals, like a cow or chicken, appeared alongside the prototype in the photograph.

Here's how Claire is looking so far:

While the most recent appearance of Claire is the remake of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, the character first appeared in Harvest Moon: Boy and Girl for the PSP. She also showed up in More Friends of Mineral Town on the GBA and Harvest Moon DS Cute

There's no release window yet for the Story of Seasons Claire Nendoroid, and it is uncertain if this could eventually lead to more figures based on Harvest Moon / Bokujou no Monogatari / Story of Seasons characters. The last entry in the series to be released was Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life for the PS5, Switch, Xbox Series X, and PC.

See the Fate/Grand Order Prototype Figure of Usada Pekora

Back in July 2023, Aniplex announced it'd release an Usada Pekora figure that put her in the Shielder Mash Kyrielight outfit from Fate/Grand Order. Now following Wonder Festival 2024 Winter, we have a better idea of how that may look thanks to a figure prototype that appeared at the event.

Aniplex took to social media to share a first shot of it. It only showed up as an unpainted prototype. Pekora will be wearing a replica of Mash's outfit and carrying her shield. There will also be a Pekomon mascot alongside her. The Pekomon seems to look like it normally does.

Here's a closer look at the Fate/Grand Order Usada Pekora as Mash Kyrielight figure prototype:

We did already have an idea of how this would look before this latest reveal. In January 2024, Pekora shared the concept art by Type Moon Co-Founder Takashi Takeuchi.

This comes after Pekora became an official ambassador for the game. Lasengle revealed she would be the representative for it back in 2023. This figure is a tie-in as a part of this, as is her streaming the game and being a spokesperson for it.

There's no release window for this new Fate/Grand Order figure yet. Fate/Grand Order is available on mobile devices worldwide.
