Anyway, colony survival game First Dwarf cares not for rock, only stone, along with the wood you'll use as the building blocks of your colonies. This is me burying the lede deeper than the mines of Moria, of course, because First Dwarf also has a tiny talking dragon companion that sits on the shoulder of the giant dwarven mech you use to swing a hammer at horrible toxic shitlizards. The dragon learnt your language by sneaking herself in a library. Do go on, game. |

It'll also be a little less oppressive, aiming for a feeling of "fireside menace" - that is, "an awareness of the world's dangers, but also warmth and comfort", which certainly feels like an appropriate mood for a time of mass layoffs and game cancellations, to say nothing of recent conspiracy-fuelled harassment campaigns. |

In fact, they never left! Go-gettin', arrow-shootin' warrior Aloy managed to delay the end of the world in Horizon Zero Dawn, but the death train is still chugging along to all life on Earth station via a (currently resonant) eco-disaster. In Horizon Forbidden West it's because the AI created to heal the planet from the prior extinction event caused by humans isn't working properly. Gaia, said AI, has been turned off and split into different parts, so yours and Aloy's job sequel is to, firstly, reboot Gaia, and secondly collect all these subordinate functions. But nobody turned off the making robots button, which means this action RPG in a massive open-world still involves fighting rocket-launcher T-rexes. It'll shock no one that this makes for a very good video game. |

The hosts played the game for 5 hours at Ghost Ship Games in Boston, then interviewed director Ken Levine. Here's a crunchy chipstick of a take to kick things off with; Judas is, says Ralph of SkillUp, "Definitely not Bioshock in space". I...haven't played it, have I, so I'll put my cynicism in its horrible little cage for a bit. Aesthetically, at least, Judas does look to have a lot going for it. Not least because of the giant robot dog that takes on the role of Bioshock's bathysphere this time around. Riding the dog sounds to involve a pixel art minigame that has you collect fuel pickups. You'll ride the dog between the "districts" of the city-sized spaceship Mayflower. We also got a few details on what exactly those districts might entail. The hosts mention a "birthing district" and "milk district". Whatever you think the "milk district" might be in terms of a Bioshock-ian dystopia, it sounds like you're probably right. Shueisha will release a perfect rulebook for the Yu-Gi-Oh original card game (OCG) rules in Japan on April 26, 2024. It will cost 1210 JPY ($8.00) and will have over 250 pages. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]
You can pre-order the Yu-Gi-Oh OCG rulebook on Amazon and Rakuten. Amazon appears to offer international shipping for those who live outside of Japan. This book has the complete up-to-date rules for the OCG, though it may become obsolete if there are any changes in the future. As a note, the book covers the OCG rules. This means that some rules may be different from what TCG players are used to due to name or text variations.
Because of the sheer number of cards, effects, rules, and limitations, Yu-Gi-Oh has become a rather complicated game to play over the years. A running joke in the Japanese community is that Konami wrote the rules and card text using the Konmai language, which is a play on the company's name. There are very minute differences in the card text that have large implications in the game. The various monster types can also cause confusion. A famous meme came from the show, in which Kachidoki (Iggy Arlo) was under the impression that XYZ monsters are Level 0 by default because they use Ranks instead. That is not the case. The Konmai joke also refers to how even Konami employees don't seem to know what to do in certain situations. It's unknown if this version of the rulebook will help to solve every dilemma a player may encounter.

Behaviour Interactive showed off the new Slipknot cosmetics that'll be available in Dead by Daylight. In total, you'll be able to wear masks for eight different characters.

As for the characters who'll be able to look like the heavy metal performers, it'll be: The Wraith, The Deathslinger, The Doctor, The Clown, The Hillbilly, The Blight, The Trapper, and The Legion. The Legion will be able to wear an entire Outfit. You can check out the official Dead by Daylight website if you want to know which killers wear which Slipknot mask. For example, The Wraith's mask draws inspiration from guitarist Mick Thomson, while The Clown's uses percussionist Shawn Crahan's.
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer survival horror game in which four players are Survivors and one player is a Killer. The Killer's job is, as you may expect, to kill all of the Survivors on the map. Meanwhile, the Survivors' goal is to finish fixing five generators and escape from the gate. As for Slipknot, it is an American heavy metal band that debuted in 1995. Most Dead by Daylight collaborations are with games or shows in a similar genre. For example, you could play on maps or wear costumes based on characters from Silent Hill, Attack on Titan, and Resident Evil.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on the PlayStation Blog that it will add a Community Game Help feature for the PS5. Only certain games, such as Granblue Fantasy Relink, will be viable for this feature.
Game Help is a feature that Sony introduced with the PS5 at launch. This lets players access walkthrough or hints without needing to leave a game or open up a new application. The idea is that it makes it more convenient for players to progress in the game if they're stuck, find hidden items, or get a trophy. If you opt into Community Game Help, the console will automatically add videos from your gameplay in order to help others. This will be available for all PS5 players, even those without a PlayStation Plus subscription.
Players will be able to rate your videos on usefulness. Once you turn it on in the settings, you can adjust how many videos the console will take per month, and it will automatically capture a video after you complete an activity or objective in the game. A moderator will check the video to see if the footage is alright, and then it will appear as a Game Help hint. Editing and deleting the video will be autonomous as well.
The Community Game Help feature will appear on all PS5 consoles later in 2024.

We've certainly come a long way from Snake, at least in some ways. A hands-off approach "AFK" isn't just an abbreviation. You can and are expected to play a lot of this game "Away from Keyboard." This is an interesting mechanic, but one that isn't uncommon in many mobile games. While I was playing AFK Journey for this review, I was able to leave it running in the background, listening for the audio cues to let me know when it was time to pick it back up again. There are so many autoplay buttons that it's possible to leave 75% of the work to the game itself. Diamonds are necessary to buy Items, Equipment, and, of course, Invite Letters. However, they can be acquired easily when you know how. It is possible to buy Diamonds and Invite Letters in the game with real-world currency, but that isn't what we're going for. Where to farm Invite Letters and Diamonds in AFk Journey Invite Letters are essential for building your team in the AFK Journey and for leveling them up. Without Invite Letters, you'll have no way of getting new team members or the duplicates needed for ascension. However, I found that using these methods resulted in plenty of both these and Diamonds quickly. Of course, through basic gameplay, you can earn both of these. However, progress can be slow.
