Team Fortress 2 is 17 years old, and one day we are all going to die. The in-built cruelty of entropy ensures our universe is finite, and all things must eventually fade into heat-death. Staving off a small element of this inevitability was Valve's online shooter getting a big patch last week, which in turn caused the…

Big Big Won Rainbow Pro 2 controller review – my new favorite game pad

The game controller market is getting out of hand, with multiple premium options pushing the $200 mark. This makes the Big Big Won Rainbow Pro 2  such a breath of fresh air. Not only is it reasonably priced, but you're not sacrificing anything meaningful in the process unless you're dead set on owning something with a more recognizable brand name

I'm surprised, but equally elated to say that the Rainbow Pro 2 is among the best PC controllers you can buy right now. From the responsive and adjustable hall effect triggers to the no-deadzone joysticks, there's plenty to like about the Rainbow Pro 2, including its sub-$100 MSRP.

MSI Claw performance just got a big boost, including in Helldivers 2

The MSI Claw hasn't had the smoothest of launches. Intel's big push to cement a place in the burgeoning handheld gaming PC market arrived too late, with too little performance, and with too high a price. However, in some regions it's already seeing big price drops and now there's a new MSI Claw driver update that provides some much-needed performance improvements.

The new MSI Claw driver update increases frame rates in games such as Helldivers 2, Diablo 4, and Hogwarts Leacy, as well as several other major recent titles. This doesn't immediately send the MSI device to the top of our best handheld gaming PC guide, but it could become a contender if we see further improvements quite soon.

Best Warhammer 40K games on PC 2024

What are the best Warhammer 40K games? Games Workshop's grimdark futuristic universe, where everything is at war with each other, is an ideal setting for plenty of games. While the miniature war game company's licensing history has seen plenty of digital adaptations, the fact of the matter is that some have been hit or miss.

It should come as no surprise to fans that plenty of the best Warhammer 40K games ever made are from eons ago, but more recently, we've seen some excellent and unique adaptations. Genre variety is a big thing here as we're also being treated to space games and even action-adventure RPGs.      The Witcher 4 release date estimate and latest news

When is The Witcher 4 release date? CD Projekt RED initially confirmed the existence of a new game in The Witcher series via a press release in March 2022 and a title update in October 2022. However, we've not heard much about the upcoming adventure since then, with scant details available and mysteries still unresolved. Who the playable protagonist is remains a mystery.

That said, we do know that the upcoming open-world game is the first installment in a new trilogy, though it remains unclear whether it will follow the characters and events of the previous games. While it's safe to assume this new entry to the series won't be called The Witcher 4, we will call it that for now, for lack of a more official term.

The first Cities Skylines 2 DLC, Beach Properties, has now been removed from sale and players are being refunded by Colossal Order. As part of a plan to rebuild the reputation of the struggling city building sequel, CO will make Beach Properties free as part of the CS2 base game while it shifts focus to performance and game-fixing patches. However, the removal of Beach Properties has inadvertently caused a new glitch in Cities Skylines 2, whereby certain buildings appear as gray, featureless placeholders. While Colossal Order is aware of the problem, the developer says it could take up to three weeks before a fix is deployed.

With Starfield DLC and The Elder Scrolls 6 still in the works, Fallout London feels like the closest thing to a genuine Fallout 5 that we could see for a while. A gigantic mod that relocates Bethesda's apocalypse RPG to the eponymous UK capital, it's the creation of Team FOLON, and likely one of the most anticipated PC launches of 2024. Recently, the developer announced that Fallout London would be delayed from its previous Tuesday April 23 release date as the launch of the Fallout 4 next-gen upgrade would demand a series of changes, overhauls, and adaptations to ensure London was playable for all. Now, Team FOLON says it may be "forced" to release Fallout London, despite the coming update to FO4.

Were we to pluck up a passing stoat, or wandering pigeon, and inspect their entrails for omens as regards the quality of mythical roguelike Hades 2, we would find ourselves covered in blood and perhaps a little wiser. The trouble was, all my friends liked football and I have an abiding hatred of popular things, a hatred that has obviously served me well during my later career as an online news journalist. I played hockey instead, which is the superior sport in that you get a big nasty stick, but also relatively niche because you need more equipment.

Still, I've enjoyed rediscovering football in videogames, and especially videogames that don't treat football with much respect. You may have played or at least heard of Behold The Kickmen - now, here's free downloadable Itch.io offering Cereballers to stick the boot in.

Zenless Zone Zero Pre-registration Opens, Rewards Detailed

We could be closer to a Zenless Zone Zero launch, as HoYoVerse opened pre-registration for the PS5, PC, and mobile game and listed out possible rewards. Some of the items people can get include Boopons for Bangboos and Master Tapes that can be exchanged for characters.

To learn more about pre-registering, people can head to the official site. It lets folks know about rewards and the game. It then also directs people to various storefronts to pre-register properly. Here's the list:

Note that on the PS5, you can only wishlist it for now.

As usual for these kinds of games, the Zenless Zone Zero rewards are locked behind pre-registration milestones. Fortunately, registrations already passed the 30 million mark, so many of them are already guaranteed. Everyone will already get 30,000 Dennies, 8 Master Tapes, and 5 Boopons. The last two remaining rewards are Agent Corrin and an additional 12 Master Tapes.

HoYoVerse already introduced Corrin Wickes ahead of launch, as she's a Victoria Housekeeping Agent. She's an A-rank character who uses Slash attacks and deals Physical damage. Rina, Lycaon, and Ellen are also part of that faction.

Zenless Zone Zero will come out in 2024 for the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices, and pre-registration is now open worldwide. The latest Amplifying Test and Technical Test are live.

Atlus brand 35th anniversary event Atlus Fes will have demos of Metaphor ReFantazio and Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance

Atlus has announced that it will hold a new physical event to celebrate the company brand's 35th anniversary in Japan. The event's name will be Atlus Fes, and the company will hold it in Akihabara on June 8-9, 2024.

One of the main highlights of the event will be the appearance of playable physical demo builds for Atlus' two upcoming games: Metaphor: ReFantazio and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The event will also feature game art exhibits, talk show stages, and merchandise booths.

In the Japanese press release, Atlus included a reminder that the original company was established in 1986. However, it did not mention the fact that would link directly to the celebration of the Atlus brand's 35th anniversary in 2024. Atlus released Puzzle Boy for Nintendo's Game Boy in Japan in 1989 as the first-ever title published under its own brand. The classic game was also known internationally as Kwirk, although other publishers handled it outside Japan.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be available for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on June 14, 2024. Meanwhile, Metaphor: ReFantazio will appear on Xbox Series X, PS5, PS4, and PC on October 11, 2024. honkai star rail firefly

HoYoVerse has revealed that Firefly will appear in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 as a 5-star Fire Destruction character. Obviously, this reveal hinges on players having finished the Version 2.1 story quest, as this is a pretty major spoiler.

As mentioned earlier, Firefly will be a 5-star Fire Destruction character, meaning she'll fill the DPS niche in your party. She is the person behind the armor of SAM and she is one of the Stellaron Hunters. As we know from her discussion with the Trailblazer in Version 2.0, she suffers from Entropy Loss Syndrome. The teaser mentions that she joined the Stellaron Hunters in order to find meaning in her life, as well as a way to defy her ultimate fate.

Like Yun Jin and Fischl from Genshin Impact, as well as Robin from Honkai: Star Rail, there will be two voice actors in each version for Firefly in Honkai: Star Rail. Someone voices Firefly's main body, and a different person voices SAM. For this article, we will only focus on the voice actors for Firefly's main body.

Her English voice actress is Analesa Fisher, her Japanese voice actress is Tomori Kusunoki, and her Chinese voice actress is Song Yuanyuan. Fisher's previous roles include Cirrus in Honkai: Star Rail, as well as Snow Sugar Cookie and Sable Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom. Kusunoki's prominent roles include Makima in Chainsaw Man and Kanade in Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage. Song Yuanyuan voiced Rayfa in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy and various characters such as Weedy and Mint in Arknights.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Firefly is the first confirmed character for Version 2.3. For the upcoming Version 2.2, Boothill and Robin will debut as new units.
