The Star Wars Uniqlo shirts won't just be in Japan for May the Fourth, as the worldwide storefront is now selling the collection as well. This is a selection of six shirts based on original movie posters for early Star Wars films.
This is the same Star Wars: Remastered collection we already knew was on the way. They all feature designs from artist Kosuke Kawamura. There are some based on the original film, as well as the movies Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. They are all unisex adult shirts that start at XXS and go all the way up to XXL or XXXL in some cases. Each one is $24.90. The price is more expensive, as the Japanese versions are 1,990 yen (~$13.48).
As a refresher, here's how the six designs look. In many cases, the art is on the back and the front features the Star Wars logo.
The last few Uniqlo crossovers prior to this involved both anime and game series. Oshi no Ko, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Final Fantasyones appeared in the store or were announced.

Back in November 2023, Larian announced Baldur's Gate 3 Deluxe Edition physical copies and offered a May 2024 release window. On May 2, 2024, it offered an update on social media noting that while the PC orders shipped in March 2024, there will be a bit of a delay for PS5 and Xbox Series X ones.
How swiftly they will head out seems to depend on the region, based on the update. Larian noted that someone in Australia or Europe could end up seeing their PS5 Deluxe Edition of the game ship by May 4, 2024. The Xbox Series X version wasn't mentioned for those regions.
However, there are no set dates for North America yet. The update mentioned production issues and a delayed shipping date.

As a reminder, this version comes with a CD soundtrack, map, patches, poster, and sticker.
Baldur's Gate 3 is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the console physical Deluxe Edition copies should ship out in May 2024. People can expect mod tools and improved evil endings when Patch 7 for the game releases. That update is currently in development.

Square Enix will release a new Play Arts Kai figure of Yuffie from FFVII Rebirth. It costs 20,680 yen (or about $134.92), and pre-orders are now available on the Japanese Square Enix online e-store.
The new Play Arts Kai Yuffie figure is set to release on April 26, 2025 in Japan. The figure is fully articulated and it includes various interchangeable parts. Among those are two different face plates, one with a standard expression and another one more befitting of battle scenes. Other parts include various left and right-hand parts, one involving her holding a green materia, as well as her iconic shuriken. A base is also included.

Square Enix previously released other Play Arts Kai figures of Yuffie and Sonon back in June 2022. However, the old figure featured Yuffie's look in FFVII Remake Intergrade, with her wearing her Moogle cloak.
The new FFVII Rebirth Play Arts Kai figure of Yuffie costs 20,680 yen (~$134.92,) and it is now available for pre-orders from the Square Enix online e-store. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available for the PlayStation 5. The console exclusivity arrangement will end on May 29, 2024.

There are a lot of Touhou Project and Touhou-adjacent games, so much so that I didn't even catch the doujin game Touhou Mystia's Izakaya when it first released on Steam in 2021. I'm kicking myself now, because apparently I did myself a huge disservice by not paying attention. Now that the Switch version is here, I've found its one of the better cozy games I've played in 2024.
First, to assuage any anxiety you may have, you do not need any Touhou Project knowledge to play the doujin game Touhou Mystia's Izakaya on the Switch. It is entirely self-contained. Mystia Lorelei and Kyouko Kasodani are both supporting cast members who even fans might not know or recognize at a glance. There are cameos from more notable members of the series' cast, but they're introduced and handled in such a way that you'll be fine if you're entirely new to the series. All you need to know is that the setting is a land filled with supernatural beings and yokai that's basically next door to our own world.
Touhou Mystia's Izakaya plays with that notion at the very outset. In case someone didn't notice Mystia's sparrow wings and Kyouko's horns, they will notice that the restaurant management simulation begins with the two opening an established izakaya for the evening, a being with a never-ending appetite decimating everything, and history-eating half-beast rewinding time to give Mystia a second chance to satisfy the menace. From there, it's a fairly relaxed, incredibly cozy game about meeting Gensokyo's residents, collecting ingredients and recipes, running a restaurant, and becoming a success.
When I first saw Touhou Mystia's Izakaya, I initially wondered about just how easy it might be to play on the Switch and if it would be more stressful than cozy game. This is because there's a bit of a zoomed out appearance, there are a lot of things happening on-screen during the serving process, and the series' trademark spell cards come into play while running the restaurant at night. However, don't let the sometimes simplistic view and array of information packed on the screen dissuade you. It's all properly introduced and handled very well once you get into the game and start running your business.
In fact, its pacing is really pretty perfect. During the day, you prepare for service at night. This means going to gather ingredients, finding new recipes you can cook, and meeting Touhou Project characters. There are even some mild relationship elements, as you can befriend the "special" customers that are series mainstays like Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame. Getting to know them better makes it easier to serve them when they visit, since they won't just tell you what they want like a normal customer, and increases their strength. This exploration phase is also how you find new employees to join Mystia and Kyouko, like Kosuzu Motoori or Sakuya Izayoi. You get to visit more and more areas of the region, granting access to new items, more types of food, and more people.
Once night hits though, you head back to the kitchen. Things start small, as initially Mystia is working to pay off Kyouko's 3,000 yen debt. This also means only offering probably one type of drink and one or two food items. However, you eventually can set up additional cooking stations, different meals depending on ingredients and recipes found, and serve more people. Getting additional workers, with up to three assisting with serving, helps with the time management element. But really, it can come down to sometimes having certain items prepped and ready at all times if you know who is supposed to be showing up. Each dish only takes a few seconds to cook, so even though there is a time management element, it never feels like too much pressure.
What's also great is that you're getting the full Touhou Mystia's Izakaya game on the Nintendo Switch, to ensure that you can really take your time and get cozy with it. The five DLC add-ons, which include more locations, characters, and story opportunities are available here. It also plays really well on the system, with the controls being perfect. The localization is fine, considering this is a doujin game. Most importantly, even though there's a lot of text tossed on you, the full-screen sprite art looks absolutely impeccable on a Switch OLED. It's well-suited to the handheld, which means I'm looking forward to heading back to it later to finish the add-ons I didn't complete and just enjoy the ambiance.
In a way, I'm still shocked at how absolutely delightful Touhou Mystia's Izakaya is, and I'm so pleased at the prospect that a Switch release might garner more attention for every version of the game. It's so much better than I anticipated, and the pacing and nature of it make it a perfect cozy game for someone who wants to sit back, make some friends, and run a restaurant. While the idea of it being a Touhou Project doujin game might be a bit daunting, it's worth a chance if you love the life sim and restaurant management genres or just want to build up your library of cozy games. There's more to it than you'd expect.

The Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga series will go on an indefinite hiatus after the release of chapter 130. The next chapter is scheduled to release on issue 24 of the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, which will release on May 8, 2024 in Japan. [Thanks, Manga Mogura RE!]
At the time of writing, there is no return date for the Frieren series' hiatus. However, leaker ryokutya2089 reported that the manga series could return on issue 28 of the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. The previous Frieren chapter 129 released on April 24, 2024 in issue 22 of WSS.
The Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga is written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, and it debuted on April 2020. The plot follows elven mage Frieren decades after her party slayed the Demon King. Frieren embarks on a journey to reunite with her former human friend and member of the party, Himmel.
On February 2024 it was reported that Japanese doujinshi website FANZA banned doujinshi content for the Frieren manga series from being hosted on the site.
The Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga is being handled by Viz Media. The first and second cour of the anime adaptation are streaming on Crunchyroll.

Back in 2020, the Bustafellows Season 2 sequel was announced, and the official social media account teased an English release in October 2023. Now the Producer minetaka went online again to tease a release outside Japan again.
Here's the official message from the series' social media account. No release window came up or official reveal. However, minetaka noted that fans of the series "will see."
Bustafellows Season 2 launched in Japan in May 2023, following the English release of the first game worldwide in August 2021. It appeared on the Switch and mobile devices in the region. It's a follow up that again involves investigating an incident and getting closer to characters like Crow, Helvetica, Limbo, Mozu, and Shu.

For those unfamiliar, Bustafellows is a series of otome style adventure games with visual novel elements. Players investigate various crimes and situations alongside "professionals," with romantic situations happening along the way. There's a bit more interaction to it than you see in most otome visual novels.
The original Bustafellows is available worldwide on the Switch. Bustafellows 2 is available on the Switch and mobile devices in Japan.

The final Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night update will come to consoles and PCs in May 2024, adding Chaos and VS modes and both paid and free cosmetic costumes for Miriam. While the Switch gets it on May 16, 2024, every other platform gets the update on May 9, 2024.
The free additions to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night involve the Chaos and VS modes and a free cosmetic pack. The two modes were originally the last Kickstarter stretch goals. Chaos is a randomized multiplayer mode where people work together locally or online to survive as long as possible. Versus is a competitive online or local mode that involves a split screen and defeating waves of monsters to buy upgrades, mess with your opponent, and make it easier for you to be the last one standing. As for the free Miriam costume in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, that cosmetic pack is based on Shantae. It's a nod to WayForward's involvement with the game.
There will be three paid cosmetics launched alongside 1.5. Their names weren't revealed in the update, but official art offered a peek at them. Each Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night upcoming Cosmetic Pack includes a costume and equipment for Miriam. There is also a stat bar for each one if you put it all on at once.
While this is the final Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night update, there will be one last piece of DLC. Classic Mode II: Dominique's Curse is in development. That features an original story and map.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available for the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC, and the final update. comes to most platforms on May 9, 2024 and the Switch on May 16, 2024. The physical PC release will follow the release of this final update.

Back on April 20, 2024, Shift Up held its 1.5 anniversary Goddess of Victory: NIKKE stream, and now VShojo announced an Anniversary Music Special for May 4, 2024. While GEEGA will be hosting alongside Connor "CDawgVA" Marc Colquhoun, people will get to hear Hime Hajime, Ironmouse, Matara Kan, Projekt Melody, and Zentreya sing at the virtual event.
The NIKKE VShojo Vtubers performance will begin at 4pm PT/7pm ET on May 4, 2024. There's no set schedule yet, so we don't know when each person will sing. However, we do know some of the songs that are confirmed for the event.

HoYoVerse offered insight into how the 2.2 update for Honkai: Star Rail will allow people to share more with and see what people on their friends list are up to. Everyone's Trailblaze Profiles, as well as Forgotten Hall and Pure Fiction areas, will offer more insights into what you and your fellow players are doing.
The new Trailblazer Profile update will give us the option of showing what we've done or experienced lately in Honkai: Star Rail with people on our friends list. If you opt into it in the Settings Socialize section, then anyone who visits your profile will see what you've done. In addition to being able to accept friend requests or show your Collection, you can choose whether or not to show your Trailblaze Status, Battle Records, and Treasures Lightward clearance lineup. The example screenshot's Trailblaze Status section showed the sample player got a Night on the Milky Way five-star Light Cone and went through Simulated Universe: World 9 "three days ago."
As for the new friends options in Forgotten Hall and Pure Fiction, they'll show their teams in Honkai: Star Rail. If they choose to show clearance lineups in Settings, then you can see how many stars they earned and which characters they used to get that rating.
The other quality of life adjustments had to do with things like teams, Trailblazer characters, and Relics. For example, Lineup Overview will let people name teams and switch. We can favorite characters we use most often. The Trailblazer will now have different equipments for their Paths, so you can keep your Light Cone and Relics for, say, Destruction and Preservation set and immediately have them equipped when you swap. Relics will also be able to be sorted by Main Stat.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 2.2 update arrives on May 8, 2024.

The Playstation Blog revealed a new Warbond titled Polar Patriots is set to airdrop into Helldivers 2 on May 9, 2024, bringing new weapons and armor to the fight against tyrany. Warbonds are similar to battle passes, except that they dont expire, and they usually cost 1,000 (about $9.99) of the Super Credits premium currency.
In total, the Warbond contains three of each of the primary weapons, armor sets, capes, banners, and emotes, as well as a new grenade, sidearm, and booster. The weapons include a slower-firing SMG, a high-impact assault rifle, and a plasma rifle variant that must be charged before firing. A new booster allows you to recover from slowing effects faster, a new pistol gives you another backup weapon to try, and the new grenade combines the effects of Incendiary and Impact grenades for more immediate firestarting.

Helldivers 2 was first announced at the Sony Playstation showcase back in May, 2023. Since then it has gone on to become developer Arrowhead Games Studios' most successful game.

Good Smile Company is now accepting pre-orders for its Nendoroid of the 2024 Racing Miku. The Nendoroid comes with extra parts such as a rideable broom and car, and the hat appears to be able to be removed too.
The design for 2024's Racing Miku was produced by illustrator Mogumo, who also worked on character designs for the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. The Nendoroid includes 2 options for faceplates, a car and broom that she can be posed on, and well as other posing accessories like a translucent stand and extra hands. Orders from the global Good Smile Online Shop will cost￥9,800 and will ship in October 2024, while US orders will cost $59.99 and ship in Q1 2025.

There will be a crossover event involving Ghost in the Shell in Girls' Frontline. The event will go live in 2024, but there isn't a launch date yet.
There is currently no information about the Ghost in the Shell event that'll be in Girls' Frontline. More information on it will appear on the official social media account for the game closer to launch. According to the press release, both of the series focus on action in a cyber-futuristic setting, which gives both properties a lot of synergy. We can only speculate on what the event will entail. But it may have time-limited characters, such as protagonist Motoko Kusanagi, and related items.
Ghost in the Shell is a cyberpunk media franchise that first started in 1989 with the manga's serialization. It has been a influential piece of work even in the Western world. The Wachowskis used some concepts from it in The Matrix, and James Cameron has cited it as a source of inspiration for Avatar.
As mentioned earlier, it takes place in a cyberpunk world. It follows Section 9 Chief Daisuke Aramaki and Major Motoko Kusanagi as they investigate a cyber-criminal that can hack humans with cyberbrains. The Major herself has a cyberbrain, as an accident in her childhood forced her to use a full-body prosthesis. As Girls' Frontline also features female android characters as its protagonists, the two works do have some similarities in setting.
Girls' Frontline is readily available on mobile devices. More information on the Ghost in the Shell event in Girls' Frontline will come out later.

When Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes launched on the Nintendo Switch, it had a number of issues like a serious Cooking Battle bug. However, Rabbit and Bear Studio announced that the minigame and two other game-breaking issue are now fixed via a new patch available in regions like Japan and North America.
Rabbit and Bear first promised this Eiyuden Chronicle Switch patch after the April 2024 launch. The patch notes for 1.0.4 confirmed two of the issues brought up in that announcement are now covered. One is that there will be no issue recruiting Lam after downloading the update. The other is that scoring in the Eiyuden Chronicle Cooking Battle, which unlocks after Kurtz is recruited, now functions properly.
The other problem in the patch note involved an issue that could be triggered if someone went into Nowa's room at night during a certain time, enough time will pass to become day and make a specific story event unaccessible.
Here are the full patch notes. It mentioned it's on the Switch in Japan, however I confirmed it is also live in North America as well. The end of it notes the Asia region version isn't available yet.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, as patch 1.0.4 on the Switch.

One such easter egg involves a purple triangle in the center of the map. Completing a brief rune puzzle will reward you with 2,000 Essence, a Flawless Aetherium Crystal, and a Legendary Aether Tool, essentially giving you an endgame Zombies kit for free. How to Do the Purple Triangle Easter Egg in MW3 Zombies To start the purple triangle easter egg, head to Old Town in the center of the map. Make your way to the Dark Aether Rift where the Union story mission usually begins, but don't enter. A new Dark Aether Rift has been added to Modern Warfare Zombies with the release of the Season Three Reloaded update, and there are multiple new Schematics and unlockables to find within. Some players have discovered a hidden easter egg that leads to a secret boss battle inside this Dark Aether Rift, though, and you'll be rewarded with a free weapon blueprint if you manage to defeat it. Although it's not exactly what I thought it would be, it's still a hilarious and helpful tool. How to get the Rescue Hook in Content Warning The Rescue Hook is a tool that you can order in from the shop, in the Gadgets section. You will have to meet the first quota of 3K views to pass the first week. Upon entering your second week, you'll earn 50 MetaCoins off the bat. The rest is up to you to earn, however.
