This trippy boomer shooter gets three new maps in free summer update

I don't know about you, but when I die, I don't want to resurrect in a videogame. It's not that I don't love them - obviously I do, otherwise I wouldn't be writing about them - it's more that they can be pretty dangerous places, even for those who've returned from the other side. In Ghostware Arena of the Dead that's exactly what's happened to the game's main character, and it's up to you to find out what the heck is going on. Released back in June, it just got its first major update with a slew of new maps to test your mettle in, along with some extremely summery skins.

mighty strike freedom gundam breaker 4

The Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom will appear in Gundam Breaker 4 as part of a free update. More information on the release date will appear via official social media channels later on.

You can watch the long trailer for Gundam Breaker 4 here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QpgOAC-SL8

As a note, the Gundam channel has region-locked the video. You must be in Japan in order to watch it.

The trailer is a humorous take on the Kira and Athrun rivalry in the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed anime. Key lines from the anime have been remodeled to fit the commercial, showing Athrun being a passionate Gundam Breaker 4 fan who's yelling at Kira for dropping the series out of despair at there never being a new one. Characters who died in the original show are talked about as if they'd gotten their Gunpla broken instead.

The Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam is a new version of the Freedom Gundam that debuted in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom movie. In the movie, Lacus co-piloted this Gundam with Kira. Some of its weapons include the atom-disintegrating beam cannon "Disruptor" and upgraded railguns.

Aside from the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam being in Gundam Breaker 4, this entry will feature over 250 Gunpla units, including SD Gundams. There will also be a diorama mode where you can recreate full scenes, as well as an improved customization form. You'll be able increase or decrease the size of the Gunpla parts, which will let you mix SD parts with normal Gunpla parts.

Gundam Breaker 4 will come out on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam on August 29, 2024.

pocketpair ai

In an interview with Game Spark, the developer of Palworld discussed generative AI and its controversy. They mostly discussed AI: Art Impostor, which Pocketpair released in the past. [Thanks, Game Spark!]

Game Spark commented that while AI: Art Impostor left an impression, generative AI sparked a lot of debate both online and in reality. Pocketpair representative and CEO Takuro Mizobe replied that generative AI is still changing and evolving right now. While there are some people who may like it from a technological point of view, others can't accept it from an artistic or moral perspective. He believes that people should continue to debate about the ethics of generative AI and its regulations.

He adds that because a lot of places have already used AI as a tool, it's impossible for games to avoid it in the long run. However, since a lot of rules around it and the technology itself are still in the process of evolution, he believes that people have to keep an eye out on that while using it in projects.

Mizobe stated his personal belief is that AI: Art Impostor is a good game. He felt a sense of "duty" when making it, since he felt like he had to make a game using generative AI at a time when people were seeing real potential in its future use. But he's received a lot of feedback since then. Mizobe iterated that because Pocketpair is making entertainment, it wants to avoid anything that could make people unhappy or upset. In the future, it wants to keep be mindful of and balance people's opinions on developing technology while implementing them in games.

AI: Art Impostor is one of the earlier games from Palworld developer Pocketpair. It came out in 2022 and is an AI drawing game similar to "A Fake Artist Goes to New York." However, players will use generative AI to create the drawings and find the impostor. It's available on the Windows PC and mobile devices.

The two exclusive Genshin Impact flavors from yfood are Amber's Banana Peanut and Qiqi's Icy Coconut. fate/stay night english

Fate/stay night is finally available in English, and the remastered version is also remastering the true experience of playing the game back in 2004. The English version had an issue in which the game won't work correctly unless you first set your computer locale to Japanese, but Version 1.1.128 has fixed it.

Issues in the English version of the game first became known shortly after its release. X (formerly known as Twitter) user "zzzzviktor" reported that character sprites wouldn't match the speaker, backgrounds are wrong, and voice lines don't match with the text. Another X user, "Chaos_World_300," QRT-ed this post to state that everything works fine when on Japanese locale. However, when she switched to English, the game started to break. This means that if you wanted to enjoy Fate/stay night Remastered on Steam, you needed to switch your computer locale to Japanese, or use a locale emulator.

The official Steam page for the game acknowledged this error. However, a few hours later, a follow-up post stated that the issue has been corrected in the latest patch, Version 1.1.128. Players should update their game if they want to experience the story as the developers truly intended it. As a note, the Nintendo Switch version also patched the issue out earlier on August 7, 2024.

For the first time since in 20 years, the official English version of Fate/stay night is available on the Windows PC and Nintendo Switch.
