On Goku Day 2024, May 9th, the Official Dragon Ball Site held a poll, asking fans to vote on what they thought their favorite one of Goku's many battles, from Dragon Ball through Dragon Ball Super, was. The votes have been tallied and the top 100 out of the countless battles Goku has fought have been revealed.
The top 10 fights got their own special Dragon Ball Weekly Update video, where Victory Uchida, the editor for Dragon Ball Super, and Toyotarou, Dragon Ball Super's lead illustrator discussed the list and what their favorite fights were. Toyotarou's was the final battle with Kid Buu at the end of the original run of Dragon Ball Z.

Some notable entries that cracked the top 50 included Goku firing a Kamehameha at Yamcha's Car from the original Dragon Ball, the first duel with Piccolo, Goku and Vegeta kart racing against one another in Dragon Ball Super, and Goku catching the Giant Fish, the first fight he ever had in Dragon Ball.
With this year being the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball and after the passing of series creator Akira Toriyama, fans all over the world have been expressing their fondness for the creator and his seminal work, Dragon Ball, including his co-workers.

Disney+ Japan has unveiled its September 2024 distribution lineup, which includes two notable entries from the Sword Art Online franchise. These additions reflect Disney+ Japan's ongoing efforts to diversify its offerings with both anime and global content.
Beginning September 13, 2024, subscribers to Disney+ will have access to Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria on a Starless Night and Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Scherzo of Deep Night. These films are part of the Sword Art Online Progressive series, which revisits and expands upon the early events of the popular Sword Art Online anime and light novels.
In addition to the Sword Art Online films, Disney+ will also be streaming the anime Murai no Koi starting September 4, 2024. In a recent interview, the developers of Gundam Breaker 4 revealed specific restrictions for certain Gunpla models, notably "Super Fumina" and "Mobile Doll May." These models will have limitations in customization, particularly in paint options and how their parts behave during gameplay.
According to producer Masanori Tanaka, while most Gunpla parts can be freely painted and detach when damaged in Gundam Breaker 4 , Fumina and Mobile Doll May models will have restrictions on paint options. Additionally, when these models are damaged, their parts will not fly off but will instead be represented by static noise. These restrictions are implemented to comply with ethical guidelines and game ratings.
The interview also touched on new gameplay elements, such as the introduction of the "whip" weapon and a "Survival" mode, where players face 50 waves of increasingly challenging enemies. The "Ability Cartridge" system was also discussed, offering enhanced customization options for players.

The official Final Fantasy VII Remake Twitter account has shared yet another social post about character designs and outfits as they appear in this reimagining. This time, we've been given a look at Cloud's Chocobo shirt from FFVII rebirth, with a neat little look at the Chocobo pattern that appears on the button-up.

While the post doesn't dive into any kind of developer details, it does feature the aforementioned closer look at the pattern on the shirt. It features three Chocobos, a prominent fixture in the Final Fantasy series, and are especially notorious in the original FFVII for the Chocobo Breeding mini-game.
Previously, Square Enix shared more in-depth looks at character outfits and some stylistic decisions that went into how they appear in both remakes. Tseng was one such character to receive a bit more of a "deep dive." The post looked at various concepts Square Enix had for this specific character, which included various textures and cuts for his suit.
This is just one of many posts where Square Enix has shared such information. Details about Aerith and Tifa's various costumes have also appeared in the past.
