The new DLC for Risk of Rain 2, which represents the first launch in the series since it was taken over by Gearbox, has been roundly criticized. Now, the founders of Hopoo, the studio behind the first Risk of Rain and the base game and first DLC for RoR 2, have announced that they are shuttering the studio, canceling what would have been Hopoo's next game, and joining Valve, which has just launched Deadlock and is currently rumored, more strongly than usual, to be working on Half-Life 3. Both of the Hopoo founders confirm they are joining Valve to work in game development, so perhaps something new and exciting is afoot. Good Smile Company shared an update on the Genshin Impact Zhongli Nendoroid on social media, marking the first appearance of a painted prototype of the figure. It is in the same pose as the unpainted prototype that appeared at Smile Fest 2024 in June 2024.
Zhongli is a major figure in the Liyue Archon Quests in Genshin Impact. He's also a playable 5 star Geo character who is known for being a strong support, due to his abilities to generate shields for the party. He also is a polearm user, and the Nendoroid will come with the Vortex Vanquisher spear that is his signature weapon in-game. He will also come with a chibi Rex Lapis dragon figure.
Here's how the Genshin Impact Zhongli Nendoroid looks so far. As it is a painted prototype, it is likely we will see pre-orders open for the figure in the next few weeks.
There's another Genshin Impact figure from Good Smile Company on the horizon. An unpainted Raiden Shogun Nendoroid also appeared at Smile Fest 2024. Aether, Lumine, and Venti ones are also immediately available, as we've seen them release over the years.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The Xbox Series X version arrives on November 20, 2024. The Genshin Impact Zhongli Nendoroid is in development.

Bandai Namco announced on social media that Gundam Breaker 4 will eventually get two new Gunpla models in a free update. The Witch from Mercury Gundam Calibarn and Seed Freedom Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam models will both appear. There's no release window for this addition.
With Gundam Calibarn, there will actually be two variants of it appearing in Gundam Breaker 4. One is the standard X-EX01 Gundam Calibarn Gunpla from The Witch from Mercury season two. The other is a Permet Score Five version of the kit. That was a more limited one based on another appearance of the suit in the series.
There will only be one Gundam Seed Freedom gunpla model based on the ZGMF/A-262PD-P Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam in Gundam Breaker 4. That first appeared in the movie that debuted in Japan in January 2024.
Here's the official announcement from Bandai Namco showing the three new Gundam Breaker 4 Gunpla models coming in the free update. It also shows the copies of the actual model kit boxes.
In addition to this promised free update, there will be paid add-ons. The $29.99 Season Pass will eventually add five additional story missions.
Gundam Breaker 4 is available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC.
