star rail dr ratio contest

Miscolle and HoYoVerse announced a contest in Japan in which students from prestigious universities will attempt to define what truth is, with Doctor Ratio from Honkai: Star Rail posing as the poster boy. People can then vote for the answers that we agree with the most.

The schools in question are Tokyo University, Keio University, and Aoyama Gakuin University. Each school sent representatives to write a short spiel about what is the truth to them. These representatives are all entries in the Miss & Mr Contest that Miscolle held. For this competition, only the Misters are participating.

In order to vote, you can follow this link. You'll have until the end of the day of October 24, 2024 to vote. The one who receives the most votes for this contest will win a trophy that looks like the plaster head Doctor Ratio wears. They will also receive a gift card of 100,000 JPY. Runner-ups will receive gift cards of 50,000 JPY.

Some of the answers are hard to argue against. Entry 03 from Aoyama states that "light" is what he considers the truth. Again from Aoyama, Entry 05 answers, "There's no answer to that question and it's a rabbit hole you can pursue forever," with a star emoji at the end. Entry 04 from Keio thinks it's where you belong and Entry 01 from Tokyo says that the existence of aliens is the truth. Other answers are a lot more serious. Entry 05 from Keio wrote, "The idea that your dreams will come true just because you worked hard may be a fantasy. But everyone who realized their dreams put in the work. There's no right answer in life. Even if your life takes you down an unexpected path though, a right answer for that journey will surely exist."

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. You can vote for your favorite truth until the end of October 24, 2024. Version 2.6, which takes place in a university, launched recently on October 23, 2024.
