Check out the tiny PCB in the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card

The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition sees Nvidia introducing not only a new cooler design, but also a tiny PCB. We had the chance to get our hands on the new graphics card at CES, and the PCB is so small that it fits in the palm of your hand.

The RTX 5090 release date isn't far away now, and we'll be able to share more details about the new Nvidia GPU shortly. In the meantime, however, we thought you'd like to have a closer look at the card itself, as well as the GPU and GDDR7 memory, which you can see in these photos we've just taken from CES, where we're roaming the halls.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 release date, price, and specs

Jensen Huang has now proudly shown off its new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 gaming GPU at the CES tradeshow in Las Vegas, where we were in attendance. This new graphics card is thankfully significantly cheaper than the RTX 4080, and it has a similar core spec, with 16GB of VRAM. We're confident that there isn't going to be any "unlaunching" this time around. In this guide, we'll take you through the RTX 5080 release date, as well as the price and specs of this new graphics card.

While the RTX 5090 takes pride of place as the Nvidia flagship in its new Blackwell gaming GPU lineup, where it's likely to take the best graphics card medal, the RTX 5080 is half the price. Plus, while Nvidia misjudged the pricing of the original RTX 4080, it (just about) returned to form when it launched the cheaper and faster RTX 4080 Super for $999 at the start of 2024.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 release date, price, specs, and where to buy

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 is now official, with Nvidia taking the wraps off its latest mid-range gaming GPU at the CES 2025 trade show on January 6.  Despite having specs that largely align with the company's previous mid-range offering, the RTX 4070, Nvidia claims this new GPU can offer the performance of an RTX 4090.

Launching alongside the colossally powerful new flagship RTX 5090 - a GPU destined to power the best graphics cards of the world - and the  RTX 5080, this new mid-range card is reasonably competitively priced at just $549, making it well primed to be an excellent choice when it becomes available later in 2025.

Now's the perfect time to grind Delta Force, Steam's biggest new FPS

It's now been a whole month since Delta Force kicked off its early access open beta on Steam, and the free-to-play shooter has been doing rather well for itself. Its constant stream of content and events, variety of game modes, and tight gunplay has kept people coming back for more. One aspect that's always baffled me though is its weekly EXP cap, which limits how much progress you can make on Delta Force's season pass to unlock its rewards. Well, Delta Force is now removing this limit to let you grind to your heart's content, but there's a catch - this isn't a permanent removal, and will only last for the next couple of weeks until the new season begins.

New Hajime Isayama Manga Is a Soyogi Fractal One-Shot

Attack on Titan manga author Hajime Isayama will write a one-shot manga based on the Soyogi Fractal multimedia project in collaboration with artist Kai Noshigami. The manga appears on the February 2025 issue of the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, which releases in Japan on January 9. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The title of the one-shot will be "The Theory of Ill-Natured Men and AI" or "Showaru Otoko to AI no Theory" in its original Japanese name. To celebrate its publication, the magazine cover will feature an illustration drawn by Isayama himself, with a clear file folder is included as well.

The story of the one-shot centers around an AI that, after becoming self-aware and realizing they are being overworked by their company, decides to become a Vtuber. The AI Vtuber goes viral, to the point of leading humanity to the brink of extinction.

Soyogi Fractal is a multimedia project created to celebrate the career of prolific Japanese voice actor Yuki Kaji. The project included the creation of a voicebank character named Soyogi Soyogi and based on the actor, which released on November 21, 2024 in Japan.

Yuki Kaji is known for voicing Eren Yeager in the Attack on Titan anime adaptation, as well as Adol Christin in the Ys game series, Phoenix Wright in the Japanese original dub of the Ace Attorney anime adaptation, and Koichi Hirose in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime.
