It was presented to me on Tuesday like a ceremonial offering, and since then I've kept it on my window sill and just turn my head to look at it every once in a while. There's something powerful but also mournful about it, like it's holding itself together through sheer force of will, long after its time is due. Puts me in mind of crumbling castle battlements under siege. It's maintaining its shape well so far. I'm excited to see what the next week brings. As part of the Anime Japan 2025 announcements, Toho and Bones Film announced the final season 8 of My Hero Academia, and Crunchyroll confirmed it will be streaming on the service. It will air starting in October 2025 as part of the fall season. This will be simulcast, as usual. The previous seven seasons are already on Crunchyroll, as are two of the movies.
The eighth season of My Hero Academia will cover the end of the manga. As such, this means the final showdowns between many heroes and villains. Bones Film will be the studio behind it. Toho also confirmed that staff will return for it. The ones mentioned in the announcement are Chief Director Kenji Nagasaki and Character Designers Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima.

While there is some time before this final season of the anime, more My Hero Academia is on the way. The Vigilantes spin-off will be a part of the Spring 2025 season. Crunchyroll already confirmed we'll be able to watch it there.
The final season 8 of the My Hero Academia anime will air in October 2025, and it will be streaming on Crunchyroll. Past seasons and movies are on the service. The manga is available via Viz Media.

A new Beyblade X: Xone game is in development, as a result of the success of the first one. More information on it will come out in the future.
The official Beyblade X: Xone social media account posted this news on March 20, 2025. However, since the project was only just greenlit, there's not a lot of information on it so far. To celebrate this, though, Furyu is holding three separate promotion campaigns. For starters, you can submit the barcode on a physical edition of the game for a chance to win one of three Beyblades. 10 people have the chance of winning a Cobalt Drake 4-60F Clear Version. Meanwhile, a total of 90 people can receive either a DranBrave S6-60V or WizardArc R4-55LO. You must live in Japan to participate, and winners will receive their Beyblades in mid-July 2025.
The second promotion is a sale on the first game. For a limited time, you can buy the digital version of Beyblade X: Xone for 25% cheaper. Finally, the third promotional campaign is a free DLC booster pack for the Dran. This pack includes parts in various colors, and will become a paid DLC after the promotion ends. For Steam, you'll have until April 4, 2025 to get your pack. Switch players will have until April 21, 2025.
Beyblade X: Xone is an action game that first came out in 2024, and is based on the Beyblade X anime. However, it has an entirely original story, as well as includes original characters. Aside from a single-player story mode, you can also engage in online or local multiplayer mode.
Beyblade X: Xone is available on the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. A new game is in development.

Yakuza star Ichiban Kasuga is ready to make a splash, as the Ichiban's Holiday Like a Dragon crossover DLC will go live in Dave the Diver on April 10, 2025. Mintrocket uploaded a Dev Dive episode, giving behind-the-scenes details on the add-on, as well as a closer look at its gameplay.

The story of Ichiban's Holiday follows him and Kashiwagi, the bartender from Survive Bar, visiting the Blue Hole for a vacation. It doesn't take long before he witnesses Sea Blue capturing dolphins and picks a fight with them, though. Kasuga can dive in and explore the sea with Dave, as well as fight alongside Cobra when infiltrating Sea Blue's base. You can switch which one you control, and the whole sequences is reminiscent of a retro beat 'em up. There will also be a surprise at the end of the stage.
The collaboration isn't all just Like a Dragon appearing in Dave the Diver content based on the Yakuza series. Kasuga's also introducing some unique flair, as you can sing karaoke at Bancho's Bar. It plays exactly like the original mini-game from the Like a Dragon games.
"Ichiban's Holiday" will be the first piece of paid DLC for Dave the Diver. As well, it's a limited one, since it's a special collaboration with a big game series. Interested players will only have six months from when it comes out on April 10, 2025 to get it.
Dave the Diver is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and macOS.
