When you think of MOBAs, I'd wager that only a few industry titans come to mind. League of Legends, Dota 2, and to a lesser extent Heroes of the Storm have been dominating the genre for more than a decade. Other MOBAs have been and gone, but not many have had the same staying power as the holy trinity. That is, until Supervive. Theorycraft Games' own spin on the genre launched into Steam Early Access last year, and its unique blend of battle arenas and hero shooters has proven quite popular. With a 'very positive' rating from nearly 18,000 reviews on Steam, it could have what it takes to come up against LoL. Now, nearly a year after it first launched, the Supervive 1.0 release is finally almost here.

Pompompurin Won 2025 Sanrio Character Ranking Popularity Poll

Back in April 2025, Sanrio opened the 2025 Character Ranking popularity poll and Pompompurin seized an early lead and won. The company revealed Cinnamoroll took second place, and Pochacco rounded out the top three by taking third. 63,160,696 votes total were cast, and 5,613,659 went to Pompompurin.

The 2025 edition of the contest isn't the first time Pompompurin won the Sanrio Character Ranking popularity poll, but it is the first time it's happened in a while. Pompompurin's last win happened in 2016. This time, Pompompurin broke a five-year winning winning streak for Cinnamoroll, who'd taken first place since 2020. The first time this character won was in 1997, the year after he was introduced.

Interestingly, the Ado character did make it into the overall ranking as well. Adorozatorumary took the 35th spot.

Pompompurin won this year's Sanrio Character Ranking popularity poll, and he took first place overall and in region-specific Australia, Chinese Mainland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, UK, and US polls.
