Killing Floor 3 offers signature weapons for every Perk inside the game, but you can improve them with the addition of mods.
The upgrade system in the third installment has undergone slight changes from what we are used to in KF2. However, the new system of upgrades allows you to make in-depth customizations to your weapons. Let's quickly take a look at how the system works, what's the best way to mod, and how to use the customized layouts in live games.

How to upgrade weapons in Killing Floor 3?
The role of upgrades is vital, and the process begins when you start earning crafting materials. There are different materials available in Killing Floor 3, and they drop from Zeds. The drop rates are random, but a few successful runs will set up your inventory nicely.
Next, we go to the central portal and open Shop. Switch the tabs to go to Armory. Here, you'll get all available customization options. Select a weapon from your chosen Perk (or from the other ones), and proceed to create a custom loadout.
You can mod all the parts of a gun. You can create multiple mods for a specific part; only one can be applied at a time for the slot. Once you've equipped the mods, your customized weapon is ready. However, you'll have to complete a few extra steps before you can use your modified gun to mow down the undead.
As cool as mods are, they will raise the amount of Dosh required to purchase them. The extent of the rise in cost will depend on how many mods you're using in your modified loadout.
How to save and use custom loadouts in Killing Floor 3?
Once you've created the mods, you can apply your desired ones (in case you've created multiple options for a single part). Next, you have to save your custom loadout by applying a name. When you're saving the weapon, you'll be able to see the modified cost in Dosh. Customized weapons will always cost more than their vanilla counterparts, but they're going to be far more effective.
Once saved, your customized version will overwrite the vanilla version. Next, keep clearing waves till you make enough Dosh, and then use them to purchase your modified loadout from the Trader pod.

Evo, the world's leading fighting game event and tournament, has released its final schedule, which includes multiple panels by different developers, some of which might just be announcing new games during the event from Aug. 1 to 3.
All the panels will be shown off likely on a livestream as well as event goers, with the full list of stuff on the Friday before the esports side takes over, including the following:

At first glance, most of the Panels taking part will likely reveal new characters for already existing games or talk about their current titles in some way, but there is reason to believe we could get brand new DLC or game announcements, judging from who is appearing in this list.
SEGA, for example, has no game featured in the tournaments at the show. So could we be getting a new SEGA fighting game announcement? The Marvel Token: Fighting souls panel could also hint at a first look at gameplay, or even a new character reveal. While Warner Bros. also has a panel, we doubt they will talk much about Mortal Kombat 1, which is coming to the end of its life, so maybe there is something planned there, too? It's hard to tell what these panels will reveal, if anything, or if it's just bait.
Evo is no stranger to big reveals, with most new fighting games and big DLC confirmed during the weekend's events, usually during the weekend. Evo is already set to have the first playable demo of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, which will be playable in Las Vegas next week, as well as other games like 2XKO, showcasing Vi.
Invincible VS is also getting its first hands-on session at Evo, as well as likely some new character reveals. So we wouldn't put it past a company to shadowdrop something during these times, or at least a new DLC fighter for current projects.
But expect most of the big new game reveals and DLC to be revealed on the Aug. 2 weekend, with new stuff likely being revealed inbetween each tournament coming to a close.

This particular Perk doesn't offer as much damage as the other five options, and yet, you'll need to have one of them for better survivability. If you're playing in a squad with difficulty above normal, it almost becomes routine to have one in your team. When built correctly, a Medic can keep your entire squad alive without any trouble.

The best Medic build in Killing Floor 3
There are two critical aspects associated with any good Perk build inside Killing Floor 3: Loadout and Skills. You can build a Medic in one of two ways: a hybrid damage dealer or someone who purely focuses on heals. In my experience so far, it's the latter that really does well in the current build of the game.
Loadout
The Medic begins with the VS-11 SMG by default, which is decent, but I won't bother investing too much into this weapon. It lacks the amount of healing that I would potentially want to have at my disposal. That's where the Biomorphic Projector comes in, as the beam weapon does a decent amount of damage and healing at the same time.

These two primaries should cover all the healing required from a Medic in a squad. Additionally, the mods I have selected also aim to increase the healing powers. It will take some time for you to collect all the required crafting materials in order to obtain the mods mentioned here.
KH-380 (secondary)
It's better to switch to primary-only in the final couple of rounds. Always make sure to keep the capacity of your secondary full, as the additional heals could always make the difference.
Skills
The Medic's skills can be used to increase his base damage, but it's much better to improve his healing potential. The skills mentioned here all increase the amount of heals that you can dish out in a match. There are alternatives at every level that will increase the amount of damage you offer, but it's best to ignore them. Your role, as a Medic, is to keep your teammate alive so that they can survive all six rounds comfortably.

If you're playing solo, it's best to avoid playing as a Medic. However, the Medic can easily be considered as a top-tier Perk when you understand the role, and play rounds at higher difficulties.
