Hardspace: Shipbreaker is now owned by developers Blackbird Interactive, with the studio having bought control of the ship-stripping sim from publishers Saber Interactive. They're not having a rest after cracking open that bubbly either, writing that "multiple Hardspace projects" are in development. Blackbird revealed all of this via a Steam post, writing that they've "reached an agreement with Focus Entertainment, our publishing partner, to reacquire full ownership of the Hardspace: Shipbreaker intellectual property". So, as you might expect, doing plenty of Hardspacey things is going to be a big part of the studio's plans going forwards. |

The second thing that strikes about Aetheris is the gorgeous animations and storybook trappings of its presentation, even in its loading screen transitions. The third is the strange vulnerability radiating from the village of lizardy people you're responsible for, and the parties you form with them. The fourth striking thing is that this a roguelike, it's a bloody roguelike isn't it, oh goddamn it. It also binds the spacebar to "accept", something I learned by accidentally starting a bossfight in a terrible position that threw a whole party away. Or would have, if not for the ol' ctrleffor. I will never be stopped. The fact that I kept playing instead of sulking and libelling a random CEO is a hint: I bloody love Aetheris. |

Anycolor announced that Nijisanji will debut Yoiyume, a group of four VTubers who also perform as a band, with a relay stream on 6:00 PM JST of August 15, 2025. That would convert to 2:00 AM PST/5:00 AM EST on the same date.
Conceptually, the group is four Japanese demons will get together to form a girl's band. Their full unit name translates to "Tonight, I Dream of XX." The short version of it, "Yoiyume," also translates to "sweet dreams." All four VTubers will start using their official X (formerly Twitter) accounts from August 15, 2025 as well.

The order of the debut stream relay will be: Mikaru, Shino, Nonoha, and Miku. Each talent will have thirty minutes to introduce themselves and what they'll offer as their content. Destructoid, I am getting tired of all the fake Pokémon Legends Z-A leaks, and I think you'll understand why as you dive into this post.
I think we should stop spending so much time and effort on social media and content creators' platforms for these supposed new Mega Pokémon 'leaks', especially since most have been proven to be fakes or poorly created.
Especially when the most recent supposed leak for Pokémon Legends Z-A has uncovered what appears to be three new Pokémon. Mega Victreebell, Feraligatr, and Clefable. These three have been making the rounds the past 24 hours, with some fans thinking they might be revealed in the Pokémon Z-A demo being shown as the Pokémon World Championship this weekend.
And while these obvious ones feel fake, I'll let you be the judge of them yourself.
As one person has already pointed out, the Mega Clefable 'leak' appears to be based on a model created by someone called cardnIH, but zoomed in and stuck over an in-game screenshot to give the illusion it's leaked. The Feraligatr, if I recall, is also based on a fanmade one from a few months ago. It's honestly hard to keep track of them all.
What I'll never understand about these fake leaks, after leak after leak, and the numerous times we fall for them, is just how bad the quality of them is. In the age of iPhones and high-grade cameras, you are telling me that the best leaks we can get from people are zoomed-in close-ups of blurry images of what is trying to be a small snippet of a larger Pokémon? Is no one able to take a screenshot or a better picture to at least make them feel more likely to be real? When did the norm of fake leaks become so widespread?
I mainly wanted to make this article to bring attention to what appears to be another obvious fake leak for the game and remind everyone to take anything you read with a pinch of salt until we get an official reveal or confirmation.
Besides, Pokémon Worlds is this weekend, so we are bound to get another big reveal for Z-A come Sunday, as well as many other Pokémon announcements. But let me know what you think of the above 'leak' yourself in the comments down below.

Masahiro Sakurai is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his company, Sora, and casually dropped that we might be getting new Kirby Air Riders information out of nowhere.
We haven't seen any gameplay or much news about the new Kirby game since its initial reveal halfway through the year during the Switch 2 game presentation. Although the title is expected to release sometime this year, there is no news of a release date or information about the gameplay at all.
In a tweet early on in the morning, Sakurai said that the new game the team is working on hasn't shown any gameplay footage yet, but said that "we'll be able to share some information soon.'" When that soon is, though, remains a mystery, but there is one big event happening next week where we might expect to see something revealed—Gamescom.
Nintendo doesn't usually reveal big games during Opening Night Live and usually retains information for its own direct, so while a big Nintendo Direct sometime this month might not be out of the question, Sakurai is a fan of having his own presentations and Nintendo Directs with previous titles like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, so maybe we get a whole direct dedicated to Kirby Air Riders soon?
It's all speculation, of course.
Kirby Air Riders is the sequel to the 2003 GameCube title Kirby Air Ride, a racing game set in the Kirby universe where players control different colored Kirbys through various vehicle-based races. By the looks of the initial trailer, the new game seems to follow that premise, but we still have a lot of questions about the direction the game will take. It would also be the second big Nintendo racing IP on the Nintendo Switch 2, following the launch of Mario Kart World.

If you have ever been to a Pokémon Center experience at a Pokémon World Championship before, you know about the delays, the issues, the scalpers that try to flip things for a premium, and more issues that you think Pokémon Company would have gotten right by now.
This year in Anaheim, it feels like nothing has changed with trainers going onto social media to show long lines, sometimes with delays of over a couple of hours, and hordes of trainers collapsing around single bins to snag rare items likely to resell them online. In some pictures, there are hordes of people all trying to get to the entrance, and it feels like an overcrowded mess so far.
In a now-deleted tweet, I witnessed trainers trying to snag what appeared to be the new playmats, barging people out of the way despite a surplus of stock available. I have also seen videos of lines of people arriving for their slot only to see queues of people that have been waiting for previous slots still unable to enter the Pokémon Centre due to likely overcapacity issues. Leading to massive delays.
The Pokémon Centres have a massive interest, especially in the first few days, when people competing try to get their swag before they are unable to find time to go to the Pokémon Centre over the weekend. So, while these queues might be massive now, I imagine that by the end of the event, the issues should be fewer, and a lot of the exclusive merch that people will have been after would have probably sold out by then.
There is a silver lining, though, with trainers alerting people online that staff are actively checking bags as you enter the queue to make sure that people can't hoard multiple high-value items to sell on. There is currently a one-item-per-person limit, and many high-value items are at the event. It seems like staff are being more proactive this year to stop people from walking away with multiple of the same item.
As someone who went to Honolulu last year and saw people walk away with sometimes 12 deck boxes or plush toys, this is a welcome silver lining in an otherwise pretty dire experience so far. Hopefully, things will improve over the weekend when more trainers are expected to arrive in Anaheim to snag some exclusive merch.
Especially when you look on eBay to see that most of these items are already up in pretty large amounts, selling for four times their value as scalpers and trainers try to make a buck off those who are unable to attend the venue. Obviously, there's nothing that the Pokémon Company can do to stop these actions. However, it's still a pretty sad experience when Pokémon trainers are already facing scalping issues from new Pokémon Card sets, with the issues seeming to get worse every time.
For those interested in the games, Pokémon Worlds starts today and ends with the Grand Finals on Sunday, when we are likely to get a bunch of new Pokémon announcements.

Pokémon GO has revealed new details for its premium timed research for the 2025 World Championships, and despite the events mainly being around A new Costumed Pikachu, it's sad to say that this Pikachu is not a reward in any of the various tasks that you have to complete.
In fact, for a lot of trainers, you might be wondering if this pass is even worth paying fo,r considering the small amount of rewards on offe,r especially if you are a long-time player. If you are coming here for a simple answer, then the answer you are looking for is "depends," as while I can see some value to getting this pass, others might not feel so inclined to do so.
First of all, let's show you what you can get during the pass.

As you can see, there are a lot of interesting Pokémon on offer, but nothing that really screams to me is fantastic, other than the Guzzlord encounter you get for the completion bonus. The inclusion of only a single Premium Battle Pass also feels pretty weak, considering how many raids people might need to do to find the new shiny costumed Pikachu.
I've been raiding for Shiny Pikachus all morning. I'm on my 12th now, still no shiny in sight, and that includes Remote Raid Passes as well.
While the Guzzlord is the main takeaway and there is a slim possibility you can find a Shiny one, this pass seems lacking, and I'd give it a skip myself. But feel free to make your own judgment call. If you are a new player, you get some pretty interest Pokémon at least, but for the veterans out there, I'll be giving this one a hard pass.

The Hyland Manor is a new location to expand your business in Schedule 1, but you can't just outright acquire the place.
Unlike other places of business, you'll first have to complete a quest to acquire it. This refers to the Benzies storyline, which also marks the introduction of the cartel system in the game. The cartel, quite obviously, lives in the Hyland Manor, which is an offbeat place. In fact, finding it can be a difficult task on its own, but you're given its location as part of the storyline.
Disclaimer: Currently, the Hyland Manor is only available in Schedule 1's beta branch.

Schedule 1 Hyland Manor
The Hyland Manor is located on the eastern edge of the map, near a street of common houses. Some of these houses now have residents following v0.4.0 update, but you're concerned about the private property shown at my position in the screenshot below.
When you arrive at the location for the first time, you'll find that the gate is locked, which prevents you from entering the place. To gain access, you'll have to start the Benzies storyline and choose to go to war against him. Uncle Benji will guide you on how to gain access to the Mansion in order to take the cartel down.
Once you complete the Benzies storyline, the Hyland Manor becomes available for acquisition.
How to purchase the Hyland Manor in Schedule 1
This part is bugged for me as of writing, which is expected given we are still in the beta. Based on what I found, the building is available for purchase from Ray's Realty. You can purchase different real estate and business locations from Ray in exchange for cash. Of course, he doesn't accept cash, which means that you'll need to use places like the Taco Tickler to whitewash black money.
Additionally, completing the storyline will also reduce the cartel influence in your save. You can reduce it further with the help of a few easy steps. Doing so will help you to unlock new regions and make your trade flourish at the cost of the cartel.
