Get On The Same Page When You Read One of Her Favorite Books/Authors

Do you like the same books as she does? Have you ever tried one? Does she like
the same books as you do? Lucky you, you have one more thing to discuss than the
average couple. Mrs. CubicZirconia and I really like some of the same fiction
authors (e.g. Dean Koontz, Robert Jordan, John Grisham, Clive Cussler). I’ve
had the great pleasure to introduce her to a number of authors and been really
happy when she liked a certain one and wanted to read that author’s stuff,
too.
Over the years that book discussion element of friendship and conversation adds
another layer to our already multi-layered relationship. I mean, we live
together, are parents together, often work together, are married to one another,
cook together, and travel together. That’s a lot of time together! Sometimes
maybe too much? LOL but seriously, perhaps surprisingly to us both, in the
course of our man-woman relationship, we have also become best friends.
While both reading and liking the same kinds of books is not necessary for a
great man-woman relationship, having multiple layers of ANY KIND OF stuff in
common with one another is a different story. Couples that get and then stay
together have lots of ways they are compatible, lots of things to talk about,
lots of shared responsibilities (needs) and dreams (wants).
A good tip is to know a little about the author before committing to read some
of their stuff.
I mean, I wonder if Mrs. Cubic Zirconia would have started reading Robert
Jordan’s The Wheel Of Time Series (Wikipedia link) if she really knew
that there were going to be 16 books and 15,000 pages?
I guess we’ll never know.

WTF is this “hilarious things my mate said while sleeping” thing anyway?
Mrs. Cubic Zirconia here, gonna close out this newsletter with gratitude.
We’re really grateful our customers have helped us continue this conversation
we started about “hilarious things my mate said while sleeping”.
Personally, I’ve been fascinated by this topic for over a decade from when my
own heavily-asleep husband blurted out his plan to dominate the world market in
