Evil Genius 2 Will Come To PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, And Xbox Game Pass Q4 2021

Earlier this year, we got the sequel to Evil Genius. The simulation/strategy game was a very long-awaited follow up to the 2004 original cult classic, and was largely well received. It launched on PC, as one would except from the genre, but the wickedness of these geniuses just can't be contained as they will now come to consoles.

It was revealed earlier today, via the full trailer that you can see below, that the title will come to both the PlayStation and Xbox family of consoles. There isn't a lot of information, but it seems the console versions will aim to keep the same amount of content and general tone of the original release. The game is also said to be launching on Xbox Game Pass, though it's unclear if that will only be for the console edition or for PC as well.

Evil Genius 2: World Domination is available now on PC. It will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One sometime in Q4 2021.

Aragami 2's Story Trailer Promises Tale Of Blood, Vengeance, and Liberation

While it suffered a minor delay, Aragami 2 is very soon to be upon us. The game is a follow up to the surprise stealth-based hit that saw you stalking the shadows as a vengeful wraith who slowly unraveled his mysterious past. It seems the second entry will take something of a different direction in the story path, as teased by the latest trailer.

The story trailer, which you can see in full below, teases the narrative for the sequel. It seems you will once again play the role of a wrathful spirit, this time one who was once a slave and through death was allowed to come back to deliver some stealthy revenge. The protagonist also looks to free others of his clan from the same slavery in what seems to be a more involved plot this go around.

Aragami 2 will release on September 17th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. You can see some extended gameplay footage on what to expect through here.

Diablo 2: Resurrected – Early Access Beta Starts August 13th

Diablo 2: Resurrected is getting a beta before it launches next month. Blizzard Entertainment confirmed two test weekends, the first starting on August 13th at 10 AM PDT till August 17th for those who pre-purchased the title. Along with the Sorceress, Barbarian and Amazon from the alpha test, players can try out the Druid and Paladin along with the campaign's first two Acts and their fully remade cinematics.

On August 20th till the 23rd, players on all platforms (except Nintendo Switch) will receive access to the open beta. Multiplayer will be enabled on both weekends along with cross-progression for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Xbox One. Along with having up to eight players together in a single game, there will be the option to duel against teammates.

Those with early access can pre-load the beta on August 11th while the open beta can be pre-loaded on August 17th for console players and August 18th for PC players. Diablo 2: Resurrected is slated to release on September 23rd. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.

OlliOlli World Supports 120 FPS and 4K on Xbox Series X/S, New Trailer Revealed

Roll7's OlliOlli World has received a new trailer, highlighting the suite of character customization options available. Check it out below along with some gameplay. It was also revealed during the recent ID@Xbox and Twitch Gaming indie showcase that the title would support 4K resolution and 120 FPS.

In terms of customization, there's a lot on offer. Players can choose from different hair-styles, clothes, skin tones, body weights and so on. You can separately randomize a character's body or the items they wear. Of course, if you want to just wear a bee costume, then that's also an option.

The previous games were renowned for their challenges and OlliOlli World is no different. However, this time around there's a wealth of options to allow a wider range of players to enjoy the title. Along with an array of tricks, there are also several different paths to explore in each level. OlliOlli World is currently in development for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC and releasing this Winter.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Coming to Xbox Game Pass

During the second indie showcased held by ID@Xbox and Twitch Gaming, Owlcat Games revealed a new trailer for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. It's still on track for its PC release but the Xbox One and PS4 versions have been delayed to March 1st 2022. However, it's confirmed as an Xbox Game Pass, launching day one for Xbox platforms next year.

As for the new trailer, it provides a look at the overall story. The player travels to the Worldwound where demons threaten to overrun the world after a long-standing conflict. It's up to the player to lead a crusade against them and ultimately overcome the demon lords.

Along the way, players will recruit different allies who will fight alongside them, provide council, help manage the army and even become potential romance options. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous releases on September 2nd for PC. Expect more gameplay footage and reveals in the coming weeks.

Tales of Arise Gameplay Video Showcases Early Combat and Boss Battle

With the announcement of Tales of Arise receiving a demo on August 18th, several previews have gone live showcasing one of the earlier sections of the game. It offers a look at the combat and how Alphen and Shionne can work together. Check it out below courtesy of 4Gamer or watch English gameplay via Game Informer.

We also get a look at one of the boss fights, Lord Balseph, who wields a massive battle axe. Mechanics like Counter Edge are showcased, which sees Alphen dodging out of the way at the right time to trigger slow-motion and subsequently counter-attack. Near the end, Alphen and Shionne unleash a Boost Strike that allows for finishing off regular enemies but deals massive damage to bosses.

Fans will get a chance to try out the game when the demo goes live next week on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4 and PS5. Stardew Valley Is Coming To Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft Confirms

Xbox has just hosted its ID@Xbox Twitch games showcase and fans got new looks for a plethora of games heading to the platform in the near future. In addition to this, Eric Barone's magnum opus – Stardew Valley is announced to be hitting Xbox Game Pass this fall.

Stardew Valley is considered to be one of the biggest indie successes in recent memory, which isn't without it's reasons. The game boasts some great pixel art and a simple yet addictive gameplay loop, and it's great that fans with an Xbox Game Pass subscription can try out the game in the not-so-distant future.

An interesting point worth noting is that this includes both Xbox Game Pass for consoles and PC. Stardew Valley has reportedly sold more than 10 million copies, and updates for the game have constantly added more to the experience. Creator Eric Barone is also working on two more projects, and if the release of Stardew Valley is anything to by; fans shouldn't expect to hear much about these projects anytime soon.

Halo Infinite's Battle Royale Mode is "Heavily Connected" to Campaign – Rumor

The recent technical test for 343 Industries' Halo Infinite revealed some interesting new details, including files for the entire campaign (or most of it, anyway). Even more surprising are files that seemingly indicate the existence of a battle royale mode. Though the developer hasn't confirmed whether it's coming to the game, it seems to have already been in development for the past few years.

Insider Tom Henderson, renowned for his leaks on Battlefield 2042, revealed on Twitter that the battle royale mode is "also heavily connected to the campaign in a lot of ways." He advised avoiding any leaks for the same if one didn't want campaign spoilers. "I'm not entirely sure what it means for Halo, but I'd imagine it's to incentivize people to purchase the full game in some way."

But perhaps more interesting is that even Henderson is unsure if it will be included in the final product. "Just to be clear, I'm not sure if it's been scrapped on not or when/if it will release, but it's been in development for years." At this point, 343 Industries could be focusing more on the campaign and multiplayer, and then come back to battle royale to evaluate if it's worth pursuing. Time will tell.

Godfall Out Now on PS4, Fire and Darkness Expansion Also Available

After launching for PS5 last year, Counterplay Games' Godfall is now available on PS4. Those who purchase the previous-gen version, whether it's the Deluxe Edition ($60) or Ascended Edition ($70) can upgrade for free to the PS5 version. Matchmaking is also available in beta form and allows for players on both consoles to party up.

The Fire and Darkness expansion is included with both the Deluxe Edition and Ascended Edition but those who only own the base game need to pay $20 for it. It offers new story missions and cinematics, new areas in the Fire Realm to explore, over 10 new enemy types and five new bosses. There are over 20 new Valorplate skins as well.

The Lightbringer update is also live for all players, adding a brand new mode for up to three players. It sees the player restoring light to the Seventh Sanctum by locating three Tears and fighting off enemies. Once a Tear has been found, one can accept a Curse which makes enemies stronger but leads to better rewards. New Cursed items are part of the deal, each offering massive benefits but only if you remove its Curse.

Battlefield 4: Second Assault Expansion Available For Free

EA has recently made Battlefield 4's Second Assault expansion for free on the Microsoft store, and the offer is available for a full week. Following the week, the price will revert back to the original of course. However, the most interesting point of note is that fans need not be a subscriber of Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass to avail this offer.

The Battlefield 4: Second Assault expansion features 4 new maps, which includes fan-favorites from Battlefield 3 with souped up destruction mechanics. There are of course, new weapons, vehicles and gear for players to use in matches.

EA seems to be on a promotional spree for all things Battlefield, which isn't a surprise since Battlefield 2042 releases this October. Battlefield 5 recently became a part of the PS Plus lineup, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers already have access to most of the games in the franchise thanks to EA Play.
