Developed by Koei Tecmo rather than Square Enix, this modern retelling of the first Final Fantasy could become one of the best JRPGs on PC. So, mark your calendars for the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin's release date of March 18. You'll need the most popular graphics card on Steam to get Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin up and running, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. However, it's important to note that you'll need the 6GB version of the card, as the 3GB model won't cut it. Looking to team red, an AMD Radeon RX 470 will do just fine. Partied up with the rest of the game's minimum specs, you can expect performance in the ballpark of 30fps at 720p. The jump to the recommended specs isn't massive, and will net you a much sharper and smoother experience with 60fps at 1080p. We hope that the game will support AMD FSR or Nvidia DLSS, so users can easily boost fps. However, both of these technologies are unfortunately absent from the recent Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade PC port, so this may be wishful thinking. As developer Creative Assembly only released the latest Total War strategy game last month, little about the Total War: Warhammer 3 DLC packs are known. Top of the list in terms of faction DLC predictions for players, however, is the Chaos Dwarfs, or Dawi Zharr - who are supposed to inhabit the game's volcanic Dark Lands. It now looks like the Chaos Dwarfs are all but confirmed as coming to Total War: Warhammer 3, thanks to a datamine of several files in the game's code. YouTube user Mamba King posted what seems to be starting dialogue for the Chaos Dwarfs, and the advisor directly mentions their real name of Dawi Zharr. They can be tricky for several reasons: some are hard to hit consistently, others can squash you with just one attack. Elden Ring is also an open-world game, so as you'd expect, there are plenty of formidable foes with big health bars waiting to be discovered. So far, all of the information we have on Elden Ring bosses comes from the network test last year. Therefore, their locations and item drops are subject to change in the final release. Since any region can have at least 13 bosses, keeping track of which ones you've beaten can be tough. In this guide, you'll find a list of all of the Elden Ring bosses, where you can find them, which ones are mandatory, and what items they drop when you beat them. It's worth noting that, generally speaking, as you hunt them down, dungeon bosses are not as hard to kill as the major bosses. Just like the Estus flasks in Dark Souls, you start the game with healing flasks that you can refill at Sites of Grace. However, this isn't the only type of healing item available - the Flask of Wondrous Physick is a customisable alternative. To get the Flask of Wondrous Physick, you need to reach the Third Church of Marika in Limgrave East. You will find it in front of a statue, along with a crystal tear that you mix to customise the flask's effects. These tears are not to be confused with the Elden Ring golden seeds that upgrade the number of charges you have for your Crimson Flask and Cerulean Flask. There are plenty of other crystal tears you can find in The Lands Between, and their effects trigger simultaneously every time you take a sip, and you can swap them at any Site of Grace. We'll go over all of the crystal tears' effects and where you can find them to use with your Flask of Wondrous Physick. In a new interview, Civilization's legendary creator Sid Meier warns the game industry to be more focused on gameplay as opposed to monetisation. Civilization is one of the greatest turn-based strategy games on PC and it hit its 30th anniversary in September last year. To celebrate, the BBC spoke with creator Sid Meier - who's been making games for far longer than that - about how the games industry has changed and what publishers and developers need to be focusing on. "The real challenge and the real opportunity is keeping our focus on gameplay," Sid Meier says. "When we forget that, and decide it's monetisation or other things that are not gameplay-focused... when we start to forget about making great games and start thinking about games as a vehicle or an opportunity for something else, that's when we stray a little bit further from the path." There is, however, a faster way to open up an entire area. In specific locations in every region, you can find map fragments that fill in the blanks, showing you all of the named locations and Elden Ring dungeons in the local area. Knowing where everything is in the region is particularly handy in your search for valuable items such as Elden Ring Ashes of War or Elden Ring cookbooks. League of Legends patch 12.4 has made its way to the live Rift, bringing a raft of new skins, champion balance changes, and - of course - steely new Champon Renata Glasc. That means it's now time to see what's headed our way with its follow-up update. While the latest round of skins gave Kassadin, Shen, and Qiyana some dazzling new Shockblade styles, this fortnight's offerings are fare more whimsical. Let's take a look. The new skins coming with League of Legends patch 12.5 add more champions to the game's Bees! alternate universe, with four new looks on the way. As you'd expect, the names are pun-tastic, with Heimerstinger, Nunu and Beelump, Orbeeanna, and BZZZiggs joining the skin line. You can check out the in-game clips of these in action and their splash art in the skins section below. As for balance changes, this cycle we're not seeing too many champions getting a round of buffs or nerfs, though if you're a Seraphine or Master Yi main, you'll want to check out the updates below as they're both receiving a few key tweaks each. A Persona 25th anniversary festival will be held from May 28 to June 10, 2022. The event will take place at Tokorozawa Sakura Town in Saitama, Japan. Tickets are immediately available to purchase. The event will include exhibitions, with exclusive merchandise available to purchase at the venue. Additionally, those looking to extend their stay at the event will be able to rent Persona-themed hotel rooms. [Thanks, Famitsu!] Tickets to the event will cost 2,000 yen ($17) if purchased on the day of attendance. Tickets including special festival goods will cost 4,500 yen ($38). However, those who pre-purchase tickets will be able to obtain tickets for 1,800 yen ($15). And pre-purchased tickets with the 25th anniversary festival goods will cost 4,300 yen ($37). Goods that come with special ticket purchases include a special "graffiti" towel. Alongside a 1:1 scale statue of Arsene from Persona 5, Atlus will reveal a Thanatos and Izanagi statue at the event. Consumers will be able to purchase exclusive Persona 25th anniversary festival goods at the Da Vinci Store in Tokoroazawa Sakura Town. Exclusive items include illustrations of main characters of the Persona series dressed as Da Vinci Store employees. Details regarding the event can be found through the official website. In July 2021, Atlus revealed it would be announcing several Persona related events throughout 2021 and 2022. Since that announcement, it has revealed numerous collaborations. One Sega Cafe collaboration lets consumers eat Persona-inspired menu items and purchase exclusive merchandise. The official website of Tokyo Game Show 2022 shared new information about this year's show. The event will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. While the event will have a physical location, information will still be distributed online. The first two days of the event will be business days. This means that game developers and other individuals within the industry will be able to enter the physical event at Makuhari Messe. The general public can attend the final two days. [Thanks, 4Gamer!] The official website reveals that it will be a "hybrid event." This means that consumers will still have the opportunity to view major announcements online. As part of the announcement of the event, Tokyo Game Show will still continue to host presentations from its official YouTube channel. However, this will include booths as well as general presentations. TGS said that this will create a more immersive experience for the online viewer. Additionally, Steam will host a special page for TGS 2022. Consumers will be able to download demos from TGS 2022 through the dedicated Steam page. TGS will also host a VR event. Aniplex opened up pre-orders for a Fate/Grand Order watch that draws inspiration from Jeanne d'Arc Alter. Pre-orders are open from February 27, 2022 to May 1, 2022, and it will ship out in mid-August 2022. The watch will cost 45,000 JPY ($388.35) for the watch alone, while the set with the watch stand will cost 48,000 JPY ($414.25). The Jeanne d'Arc Alter Fate/Grand Order watch features motifs from the character and her design. Its color scheme matches her armor, with lots of black, red, and dark indigo. The red on the bottom of the watch face looks like fire. According to the website, this is supposed to bring to mind her flames of revenge, as well as her Noble Phantasm. The watch face also has the dragon from her flag. As for the hands, they look like her swords. "The Fifteen Bespectacled Intellectuals" will start on March 2, 2022, and completing it will allow you to obtain up to thirteen new Spiritron Dresses for your Servant. In the case of Arjuna Alter and Mordred, their voice lines will change along with their appearances. As for the others, only their combat sprites change. Arjuna Alter is the only one with a whole brand-new outfit, as he is the poster boy for the event. According to the story description, the reason why the Servants are wearing glasses is because they are fighting enemies that are invisible to the naked eye. During every White Day event, there are limited time Craft Essences that you can obtain through an event ticket or naturally through the gacha or battles. This year will be no exception. So far, Lasengle teased a Craft Essence starring Merlin and Oberon, as well as one of Mandricardo, Caenis, and Mori Nagayoshi. Though many Fate/Grand Order players are awaiting the next phase of their main story adventure in Olympus, there's plenty of Greek action to go around in the meantime. The game's latest limited-time event is Fate/Grand Order's The Aeaean Spring Breeze: The Witch, Delightful Companions, and a New Adventure and adds Odysseus. The Fate/Grand Order Aeaean Spring Breeze event takes place on the titular Greek island. It's a mythical place said to be where the hero Odysseus spent time on his journey home. It's also the home of Circe, a powerful witch who can turn men into animals. With both Circe and Odysseus present in Fate/Grand Order proper as Servants, the event promises a new take on a key segment of the Odyssey. Aeaean Spring Breeze is also the Fate/Grand Order White Day event. In Japan, Valentine's Day is typically seen as a day for women to give gifts to men, and White Day was invented to give men a chance to reciprocate. To that end, playable male Servants (and a number of non-binary ones, besides) will gain an attack bonus during the event. Special commemorative "Chaldea Boys Collection" craft essence items are also available via the premium summoning banner. As mentioned earlier, the special Chaldea Boys Collection summoning banner will add a new male Servant to the playable roster. Odysseus played a major role in the Atlantis main story chapter and joins the lineup as a 5-Star Rider-class Servant. Odysseus has an Arts-element Noble Phantasm and a skill-kit that carries a lot of utility. He can fill his own Noble Phantasm gauge, improve the whole party's Quick and Arts-element damage output. Odysseus can even protect a selected ally from damage by causing enemies to attack everyone *except* the target of his skill.
