Kotaku Saturday, April 9, 2022 5:45 PM Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a really, really big game filled with hundreds of characters, ships, planets, and weapons all pulled from every Star Wars film ever made. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Saturday, April 9, 2022 6:53 PM One of the most satisfying things in the first Kerbal Space Program was when you'd reached orbit, and could then start plotting courses and interceptions with other objects throughout its fictional solar system. Kerbal Space Program 2 wants to up the ante somewhat by upping the scale and allowing for interstellar travel. A new 15-minute video from its developers talks about the challenges of simulating interstellar travel - from the engine changes required to support such vast scale, to the reasons for even wanting to. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Saturday, April 9, 2022 6:13 PM Subnautica is, according to us, the best survival game. Its standalone expansion Subnautica: Below Zero is great, too. So it's good news that developers Unknown Worlds, despite having been bought by PUBG's developers and working on something in a whole new genre, are also working on something new in the "Subnautica universe". This according to a job advert posted this week. |

Siliconera Saturday, April 9, 2022 7:00 PM Suzume no Tojimari, the new movie from Your Name director Makoto Shinkai, has received a November release date. The movie will debut in Japanese theaters on November 11, 2022. A new key visual also gives fans a first look at the film's main heroine, a schoolgirl named Suzume. The film first appeared during a reveal event back in December 2021. Shinkai described it as a modern road movie in which the protagonists will travel across Japan. The main character, Suzume, is a 17-year-old schoolgirl from the Kyushu region who meets a boy looking for a strange door. Upon finding the door and opening it, Suzume sets off a chain reaction that opens other mysterious doors across the country and causes havoc. The movie follows Suzume as she travels across the country to find and close these doors. https://twitter.com/suzume_tojimari/status/1512566053003431942 The new key visual shares some similarities with the first promotional image, but with a few notable differences. Firstly, the image now features Suzume front and center, looking behind her and holding a wooden chair. The door in front of her is also now open slightly, with a strange glow emanating from inside. The announcement tweet implies that the open door and wooden chair may hold some sort of hidden meaning. New footage of the new Your Name director's movie will appear during a premiere event on April 10, 2022, at 8 p.m. Japan Time (7 a.m. Eastern / 1 p.m. CEST). The movie premiere event will be available to watch on the Toho YouTube channel. The announcement tweet also shows off a still of Suzume walking in what looks to be an abandoned hot spring town. https://twitter.com/suzume_tojimari/status/1512567259356487684 The new Makoto Shinkai movie, Suzume no Tojimari, will release in Japanese theaters on November 11, 2022.
