Kotaku Friday, June 3, 2022 4:15 PM For the past few months, a lot of people have been sharing memes connected to terrible superhero film Morbius, which stars noted method actor Jared Leto as a living vampire guy or something…look, I've not seen the film, okay? Anyway, all these memes, jokes, and online ha-has have been fun, but things are getting out… |
PCGamesN Friday, June 3, 2022 8:59 PM Want to play Diablo Immortal crossplay? The open beta is now live on both PC and mobile, so naturally, you may be wondering if you can enable cross-progression and crossplay between the two platforms. To get Diablo Immortal crossplay working on both mobile and PC, all you need to do is make your character on mobile and then head to the 'account' tab of the settings menu. Next, click the 'connect your account' option and link it to your battle.net account. There is also the option to log in to your battle.net account from the title screen once you've made your first character, and, if you're unsure of which class to go for, check out our Diablo Immortal tier list to make this step a little easier. Oh, and if you have already started playing on mobile then you'll be prompted to link accounts as soon as you boot Diablo Immortal on PC, so it's hard to miss. As Diablo Immortal is always online, hopping between mobile and PC is pretty seamless - you can even log into one platform while playing on the other, and battle.net will automatically save your progress and boot you off the original session. PCGamesN Friday, June 3, 2022 5:43 PM Battlestate Games has just announced Escape from Tarkov Arena, which it turns out is not a location in the Escape from Tarkov we've grown to know and love over the past couple of years. It's a standalone game featuring more traditional multiplayer PvP sessions, with all the "hardcore game mechanics" featured in Escape from Tarkov. Rather than the raid-based gameplay found in Escape from Tarkov, Arena is based around more action-packed PvP matches, the kind you'll be familiar with from countless multiplayer FPS games over the past several decades. The setting is still the fictional city of Tarkov, where a mysterious group called 'The Arena Masters' organises modern gladiatorial battles as a spectator sport. Battlestate says Escape from Tarkov Arena will feature both PvP and PvE modes, with weapon and gear unlocks, and the ability to play as your character from the main Escape from Tarkov game. The arenas look appropriately dystopian: there's a heavily modified partial airliner hull with tyre barricades and plywood set up to create bits of cover and concealment, as well as a larger airport concourse area with urban combat training structures set up along the floors and hallways. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Friday, June 3, 2022 8:30 PM Intel has once again teased its upcoming Arc GPU lineup, marking another odd showing in an overall confusing marketing campaign. For context, Arc Alchemist GPUs are long overdue for release, and there's still no clear launch date for desktop graphics cards even though limited numbers of Arc laptops are technically for sale in South Korea already. Intel claims the cards will go on sale sometime this summer. Despite this, Intel showed off the Limited Edition Alchemist desktop card reference design at Intel Extreme Masters (IEM), an in-person esports event hosted by the company. Attendees were able to see the graphics card up close and even take a few games for a spin to get a feel for the performance. This isn't the first time we've seen the Limited Edition desktop card design. Intel first revealed it back in March. It's a good looking card with a two-fan cooling solution that's about two slots thick. Presumably, this is the top-end model that's... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Friday, June 3, 2022 6:15 PM One of the more intriguing games announced during yesterday's State of Play presentation came in the form of Rollerdrome. This stylish new game comes from Roll7, the developer behind the well-received OlliOlli series, including the fantastic OlliOlli World. Much like those games, Rollerdrome places an emphasis on skating, but it distinguishes itself by mixing that expressive style of gameplay with high-octane third-person shooting. It certainly seems like a fun premise that provides a welcome contrast to OlliOlli World's more laid-back vibe. Interestingly, even though Roll7 is still working on DLC for OlliOlli World, the developer already has Rollerdrome slated for a release on August 16. Those who have played OlliOlli World will immediately notice the visual similarities between it and Rollerdrome. Both have a cel-shaded aesthetic propped up by bold color choices. But whereas OlliOlli World boasted an inviting, cartoony art style, Rollerdrome incorporates so... |

PC Invasion - FeedDDD Friday, June 3, 2022 5:00 PM Epic Games is known to give out a weekly free game to draw customers to its storefront. And during its special MEGA Sale event, it has given away incredible free games in an effort to capitalize as much as possible during this time. This week Wolfenstein: The New Order will be free for all to download until June 9 on the Epic Games Store. Borderlands 3 and BioShock: The Collection already listed for free on the platform earlier this month. The storefront offers these games for a week at a time, so make sure to check these next two weeks for giveaways. Wolfenstein: The New Order asks the question: "What if the Nazi's won World War Two?" The premise is simple and to the point. Coming from MachineGames, the experience Wolfenstein: The New Order brings is unlike anything else. Reviving the franchise with its deep storytelling and controversial premise, this game is absolutely worthy as successor to the franchise. Set 14 years prior to the original game, Wolfenstein: The... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Friday, June 3, 2022 4:30 PM Fans of Prince of Persia have had a rough time over the last decade, and it's about to get worse. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has been indefinitely delayed. This was suspected after retailers began delisting pre-orders for the title, as well as allegedly warning customers that their orders will not arrive. In a statement to IGN, Ubisoft confirmed that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is "no longer targeting a FY23 release." In other terms, we won't be seeing the game until after September 2023 at the very least. It's not looking good for the remake, but the extra time may give Ubisoft the chance to correct its development. It's not looking good for Prince of Persia For those keeping score, this is not the first delay to hit Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. It was first announced in September 2020, with an expected release date of January 2021. However, development issues caused the release date to be moved t... |
