Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, January 6, 2023 5:08 PM Roguelike deckbuilders are everywhere, nowadays, which is just how I like it. Roguelike deckbuilders that carve out a path far afield of Slay The Spire are a little rarer, though, so I also like that Luck Be A Landlord just left Steam Early Access.
It's about adding symbols to a slot machine, rather than removing monsters from a dungeon. You emerge from each run with sentences less like 'damn, if only I'd picked more block cards' and more like 'damn, if only I hadn't invested so much in coal and instead focused on feeding milk to my cats'.

Siliconera Friday, January 6, 2023 11:00 PM DMM Games released an introduction trailer for Blue Reflection Sun. This is a collaborative effort between DMM Games, Koei Tecmo Games, and illustrator Mel Kishida. At over two minutes long, the trailer gives a look at the worldview, characters, and gameplay. The story follows students at Hinomori Academy, in a world after a mysterious ash has caused the creation of monsters, as well as diseases in humans. The monsters are called "Testa" and they are antagonistic towards humanity. However, some humans who have gained special powers as a result of contact with the ash – the Eroded – are able to defeat the Testa. Shiho Kasuga is a victim of the ash, and she transferred to Hinomori Academy in order to receive treatment. Shiho ends being one of my fighters against the ash and the Testa. You can watch the trailer for Blue Reflection Sun here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WU1k61RCO3A The trailer mainly focuses on the female characters that will be in the game. Though it will star a male protagonist, he mostly appears in the background of scenes in this video. Blue Reflection Sun will be a free-to-play mobile title with in-game purchases. Aside from Shiho Kasuga, the trailer introduces characters like Yukiko Takaoka, Nanaka Azumi, and Meiqi Xiao. It is unknown if you will be able to get these characters through the story, or if you will have to pull from them through a gacha system. Blue Reflection Sun will come out on mobile devices in Japan in Winter 2023. Pre-registration is open. The post Blue Reflection Sun Trailer Introduces Ash And Girls appeared first on Siliconera. |

It will still air on TV as planned. The announcement on the official website did not specify which streaming services will experience a delay. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!] The delay will only last for a day. It will start streaming from 6pm JST on January 9, 2023 for those who use affected services. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury is available for streaming on Crunchyroll. However, Crunchyroll has not confirmed whether or not there will be a delay in airing episode 12. If there is one, then the episode will appear on January 9 instead of January 8, 2023. The post Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Episode 12 Delayed on Streaming Sites appeared first on Siliconera. |

Siliconera Friday, January 6, 2023 6:00 PM The best person to take on goblin extermination jobs is back. A new season of Goblin Slayer is on the way, and people can see its first trailer. The Goblin Slayer season 2 trailer was uploaded alongside other production information to the series' official website. The Goblin Slayer season 2 trailer focuses on a monologue by the titular character, while showing off some of his companions. Based on the light novel series by Kumo Kagyu, Goblin Slayer follows the exploits of a man known as the Goblin Slayer (in the series, all characters are identified by their professions). A silver-ranked adventurer, Goblin Slayer is known in his community as unusual, since he only takes on assignments related to hunting goblins. His single-minded focus on the "little demons" has given him unmatched expertise in the field of killing them. He uses that experience, as well as carefully selected specialist equipment and tricks, to turn the tide in various battles against goblins, who are more formidable than their low status implies. His face is also never shown, as he refuses to remove his distinctive helmet. The Goblin Slayer season 2 trailer also shows some of the protagonists' companions, as well as characters who show up later in the series. The Priestess, Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, Lizardman, are all visible. A glimpse of the blindfolded Sword Maiden can also be seen, dressed in the same outfit as she wore in her earlier years as an adventurer. Check out the trailer below. Goblin Slayer season 2 will debut in 2023. The first season aired in 2018, and is available on various streaming services. A tabletop RPG adaptation was published by Yen Press.
